Its so insane to see the difference in the top 1% of players vs the top 0.1% of players. Its honestly refreshing to see two full energy vipers just wander straight over a giant bio ball and just die. Mistakes that serral just flat out doesnt make...ever.. I love a good dark, maru, byun, maxpax, and serral game as much as the next guy but this was a nice breath of fresh air to see
It's fascinating just how wide the skill range is overall. Against almost any non-professional player, these guys would look unstoppable. They do make mistakes, but it's often while 2-3 fights are happening elsewhere.
Hey Winter. As one of the people who was asking for a more varied set of players, I just wanted to say I'm really enjoying the video! I like especially seeing this liberal infestor use which I hadn't seen in a while, and I definitely feel watching this that I prefer seeing a greater variety of players who aren't all 'the most professional' rather than the same people over and over. Thanks for commentating this and for listening.
Really enjoyed the back and forth grind. The pros are good but you see the same builds. These players slogged back and forth and it was amazing. Well done Winter.
@@thewealthofnations4827 Yeah exactly. I felt that when I saw the botched Ultra rush on the planetary, which would have been a game ending mistake against a Clem or Maru.
OMG - The art of no micro versus the tactical retreat of melee against long range countered by the absence of critical upgrades resulting in starving the map. Burning buildings flying through the air, burrowed units crawling into detection, base destruction and rebuilds galore! Wow, after we've seen the best, we sure are viewing the rest.
yknow massive props to Winter here for listening to his audience when they ask for content. personally, i will watch every video regardless of who is playing. I could watch Dark v Clem all day, but it is refreshing to see a few new names! keep it up Winter, you are the SC2 casting GOAT.
5:29 that unlucky marine got left behind by the transports, catches up with the rest anyway by foot, and then being the first and only one to be killed anyway. What a day for the poor fella.
That creep spread was the unsung hero. The moment the center of the map was taken up by creep the terran began to bleed out unable to hit both sides of the map.
match ups like this one are the equivalent to a good sidequest in an RPG - so yeah, keep em comin. Also, the "fun gal" pun was sooo dad-joke, I cackled like a madman.
Just cause they aren't the literal best in [insert region here] doesn't mean they don't play some excellent and exciting games, honestly you usually see more experimental plays and realistic risk assessments in games that are a little below the very top.
That was incredibly refreshing. More of these, please. People who are good enough to learn from but not so good it makes me want to /wrist when I compare my own play.
thanks for being so consistent with your uploads - i’ve started tracking the progress of time with your like count tracking haha can’t believe it’s been over a year already
I want to say I played a ton of sc2 through heart of the swarm and slowly fell off. Finding your content has reminded me how wonderful this game truly is. Your videos are incredibly charming and educational. Never thought anyone could ever rival Day9 but you absolutely do.
i have to say that while it's great seeing the top pros duke it out and getting to learn and understand their playstyles and watch their technique evolve over time, I absolutely love seeing some different names for a change and I hope we can see more of this interspersed between the MOST professional games we're used to. :) ngl i mostly just hope you find a good uthermal game to cast since he's been dabbling in tournaments again!
These are my favorite types of games. I love watching nearly hour long slug fests. Doesn't matter if they aren't the highest level players. They're both still extremely skilled.
Beauty, now that was a ladder game! When the Terran evac'd I was sure he was bm'ng, but wow, 51 minutes, you can get wrung out after a game like that. Mixu able to pounce on those medi's was a stroke of good luck, and he managed not to throw it away with ultras, choked that Terran out only way to do it!
Having not played any RTS in an age, I played Warcraft III with a friend this weekend. I was always a Starcraft guy but they are similar games. What Mixu and Zero are able to do here I could only dream of. They're so good. ...but the distance between these two and Dark, Maru or, God forbid, Serral seems absolutely immense.
you'll never get to see serral or dark killing their own drone while hellions are diving the mineral line, so i very much appreciate getting to see actual humans play the game
I love this content. Seeing GMs making mistakes makes me feel just a little bit better about my abilities. It also gives me a new perspective on how amazing the top players really are.
You know what would be a really interesting addition to banelings if they fall off harder than they already have? Small creep patch on death, with more if buried Would help them get to targets easier and assist the rest of the army, somewhat nullifying their biggest abusable weakness (and not by much as it still decays quite quick), and buried banes instead of a ling could delay the landing even further at much higher cost
As a member of the "forever gold league" and a regular watcher of your casts.... Yes please, more underdogs, more bronze, silver, wood and nail leagues... More brenda!
Gotta say I like the big names but if it's a good game I care less about who is in it and more about the plays... that's why I love Scarletts matches it's so back and forth normally like until it's gg you never really know what's gonna happen next cause she can't toss a won game and win a losing one she is pure chaos at times
That was fun to watch. Usually 53 minute long games are a slog to get through, but that was edge of your seat action the whole time. Either player could have closed the game out multiple times. More of these for sure.
At the end the amount of resources lost was almost the same but I feel dirty by watching this and seeing the amount of resources a zerg had to spend to get ahead ... damn.
Choice comedy and 17:12. . . . "doesn't work against massive units or your mother" . . . drumroll please. WinterStarcraft channeling Rodney Dangerfield, it's the best!!
This was legitimately worthy of the clickbait title. An epic game! Last one I remember kind of like this was Spirit v Reynor. These games are definitely fun ones to see.

Damn he hit us with "Yo momma so fat, she's immune to Concussive"
She so massive.
"why did the infestors name a spell after me?" LMAO
Brenda: "I can't believe I share a hivemind with you Susan..."
I actually laughed out loud at that one! And quickly csmashed that like button! Winter youa re a legend!
11:03
Too funny!
That joke was great

Lmao. 😂

Fully agree. One of the most fun to watch games I have seen in a while.
I love Dark, the top player according to Dark, but i appreciate seeing other zergs play too.
Control was not perfect but very action packed game, I enjoyed it!
yknow massive props to Winter here for listening to his audience when they ask for content. personally, i will watch every video regardless of who is playing. I could watch Dark v Clem all day, but it is refreshing to see a few new names!

17:06 is the quality content I'm here for lol
match ups like this one are the equivalent to a good sidequest in an RPG - so yeah, keep em comin.
Also, the "fun gal" pun was sooo dad-joke, I cackled like a madman.
This was awesome. I loved the barely controlled chaos. Great and entertaining match!
I Liked for the 'fun gal' joke. Damn you.
This is exactly what we wanted! Thanks
I appreciate the display of almost human levels of micro here as opposed to absolute insanity.
This was definitely a great game. Even if they aren't the top 1% of players, they're worth the attention. Hope to see more like it whoever plays.
Just cause they aren't the literal best in [insert region here] doesn't mean they don't play some excellent and exciting games, honestly you usually see more experimental plays and realistic risk assessments in games that are a little below the very top.
If you remember that Mixu is a finnish zerg player, that statement gains some extra layers :P
That was incredibly refreshing. More of these, please. People who are good enough to learn from but not so good it makes me want to /wrist when I compare my own play.
"A market increase in pressure, AKA a bunch of dudes with guns and drugs loaded into medivacs and boosting across the map"
thanks for being so consistent with your uploads - i’ve started tracking the progress of time with your like count tracking haha
can’t believe it’s been over a year already
Love the main characters, but mixu-ing it up a bit is much appreciated!
31:48: "Quick, everyone load up into the world's most fragile air-fleet!"
32:04: "How could this have happened!?"
53:00: NICE
From 19:53 to 21:09, Mixu did not collect any gas at all.
That indeed was an intense match. Very entertaining out of itself, far more entertaining with your commentary. Thank you Winter!
I want to say I played a ton of sc2 through heart of the swarm and slowly fell off. Finding your content has reminded me how wonderful this game truly is. Your videos are incredibly charming and educational. Never thought anyone could ever rival Day9 but you absolutely do.

“Venn Diagram of Freedom” was so casually dropped 😂
It's almost like he has made that joke several dozen times before.
I just started watching your casts, they are very enjoyable. Obviously I'm not the only one, since your like to view ratio is also crazy good!
Like button smashed, subscribed aswell.
Cause i love the veriety when it comes to the names on the screen
Appreciating the variety!
"doesn't work on massive units like ultralisks and yur mother" -- the way you so quickly worked that in caught me so off guard lol
This was an awesome match!! So much intense combat all the time
I haven't played SC in ages but I just really enjoy your commentary. You do a fantastic job!
I liked your commentary a lot man. Thank you, definitely earned a sub
This is a comment. The algorithm is pleased by this.
you'll never get to see serral or dark killing their own drone while hellions are diving the mineral line, so i very much appreciate getting to see actual humans play the game
I love this content. Seeing GMs making mistakes makes me feel just a little bit better about my abilities. It also gives me a new perspective on how amazing the top players really are.
Dude that was a thrilling match, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time
I see thumbnail, I click, I hear Winter saying branching out to cast other players and my day just got a little bit better.
Only 2 minutes in and I have to hit like.
"The life of reaper man is always intense"
Great reference.
I enjoy the variety!
it's great seeing more players even if they aren't the best of the best, they're still leagues ahead of me and fun to watch
Wish i could watch this whole thing, but i heard that fungal joke.... oh well.
Jealous of susan?
Worlds greatest Starcraft2 TH-cam channel according to WinterStarcraft, its WinterStarcraft.
Ever since the "you want a piece of meat boy" changeling, changeling always say something mostly right ij my mind
This was one of the most entertaining SC2 game I've ever seen
A beautiful Friday here in Medellín, birds singing, sun Shining, a Winter's New video... Life is Good.
You know what would be a really interesting addition to banelings if they fall off harder than they already have? Small creep patch on death, with more if buried
Would help them get to targets easier and assist the rest of the army, somewhat nullifying their biggest abusable weakness (and not by much as it still decays quite quick), and buried banes instead of a ling could delay the landing even further at much higher cost
wow I felt whiplash coming from the concussive against massive units joke
Mixu and zero are both legends in their own right.
As a member of the "forever gold league" and a regular watcher of your casts.... Yes please, more underdogs, more bronze, silver, wood and nail leagues... More brenda!
Very welcome addition of 'not just dark' :D
i wanna see you be the castor for the ESL or whatever. Keep going strong Winter!
Winter making Starcraft “Dad jokes” real thing... LOL❤
Gotta say I like the big names but if it's a good game I care less about who is in it and more about the plays... that's why I love Scarletts matches it's so back and forth normally like until it's gg you never really know what's gonna happen next cause she can't toss a won game and win a losing one she is pure chaos at times
@2:55 Queens kill a traitorous drone for withholding intel on the hellion attack.
Starcraft 2 game is played
Winter: THIS game is the most INSANE Starcraft 2 match I have EVER SEEN!!!!!!!
That was a good game even if winter called my mom massive.
Fungal killed me... its the look at the end
More of this please
Absolutely glorious
Oof, that Corrupter moment at 35 minutes felt more like something out of a BLH game.
I really emotionally related with +3 melee attack starting at min 24
That battle report is so cool.
As long as Serral, Dark or Showtime is mentioned atleast once / video I will watch it, enjoy it, and send it to my mates and force them to watch it
Surprised this turned into a marathon. I was expecting best of three lol
Brenda the Fun-gal 🤣😂
That was fun to watch. Usually 53 minute long games are a slog to get through, but that was edge of your seat action the whole time. Either player could have closed the game out multiple times. More of these for sure.
Haven’t played sc2 in weeks but I still watch every day, maybe I’ll get on later tonight
that infestor pun at 11:15 was criminal . . . you are a criminal. You should go to jail for that crime
lol the queens targeting the overseer was so funny
Is a great idea to know all the pro players
it's always a good game when both players stay between 140-160 supply
At the end the amount of resources lost was almost the same but I feel dirty by watching this and seeing the amount of resources a zerg had to spend to get ahead ... damn.
What a match. GGWP both
I've come here yet again to hear banter from the queens ❤
My day got a little bit better! Let's go Jimmy!! 😂
What a crazy game!
"This game is so long, so long and so hard!"😁
zerg losing 19 hatcheries and terran losing 30 medivacs... pretty rarely seen gdamn
WINTER CAN YOU POST YOUR PLAYLIST PLS
Damn that was too intense and here I was hoping to sleep to todays cast
I love seeing other players, but I love me a good dark game now and again
Last game , very funny ...TY!
That game was exhausting
The dad joke at 11:00 was pure bliss. I can feel teenagers cringe all the way from across the Atlantic.
I love the drama queens.
0:43 - no, please give us only the best of the best. More Dark and Serral, especially Serral. And cast more SC EVO, g0ddamnnn
Never knew how similar mid to high-GM games could be to Bronze League Heroes!
Standby. Scanning… Yep. It’s zerglings.
Choice comedy and 17:12. . . . "doesn't work against massive units or your mother" . . . drumroll please. WinterStarcraft channeling Rodney Dangerfield, it's the best!!
damn that might be the most damage ive seen in these games from hellions. Guy got so many workers early. (game 1)
the games are great but you do a great job as a caster even down to the bronze league level. will keep watching as you keep the commentary going.
totally appreciate different players.
Queen humour ftw:)
This was legitimately worthy of the clickbait title. An epic game! Last one I remember kind of like this was Spirit v Reynor. These games are definitely fun ones to see.
im a big fan of the more player diversity idea, though im gonna watch either way.
My mom also has Chitinous Plating
