I’m learning that other people have different memories of the green knight, namely that he’s not always the bad guy or winner! So either certain locations are run differently or I’ve had incredible luck to always have the green knight be the bad guy! 😆
Another note, including Ireland in the graphic of Great Britain was an animation error! My bad! Sorry! 😅
No worries
I'm so glad we got another LMES vid before the year is out. You're by far my favourite animator on YT. I hope you have an amazing christmas

Welcome back Queen Rebecca 👏👑
You have and issue with horns girl. I think a certain legendary Disney villain who may have issue with you. A little character that if your a die hard disney fan you may remember a little character called the horned kingdoom from a temporarily disown film called the black cauldron.
The last time I was at the ren fair, I was put in the row with the “evil knight” who was really just boisterous and egotistical. The charm of that dude had us in his section cheering louder than anyone else
Now that sounds like a fun experience.
This how you make it "good to be bad"
I’m pretty sure I was there. You guys were really loud. I could not hear myself over the cheers on the other side of the room lmao

Fun fact!
My first (and so far only) Medieval times trip, the green knight was the good guy AND won! Same antlers, uniform and everything!
Same!! I went for the first time a few days ago, and the red guy was the ‘bad guy’ (he wasn’t even that evil, all he did was call out the king and queen for being unjust)
Pretty sure the green knight with antlers is actually a reference to the Green Knight in Arthurian lore. A fae who tried to scare queen guinevere to death on the sister of king arthur, morgan le fay's orders. So that could explain why the green knight is always the villain.
Yeah that actually makes a lot of sense!
In mine the Red and Yellow was the villian, its possible that they started randomizing it
@@jaydenswift9856 the victor of the tournament changes every week, going clock wise around the arena so one color knight only actually wins every 6 weeks, source: I'm a wench at one of their castles lol
Or you know Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Or one day they had a "oh shit are we actually kind of racist for making the black knight the bad guy?" Moment and just picked the new antagonist by putting names on a dart board in panic.
The better system would probably be to have whatever knight is on the opposite side of the eventual winner be the antagonist for the evening to spread it around.
Becca's sense of humor has gotten better and better.
"But I don't have a queen, so go fish" made me laugh harder than I should've.

I went to Medieval Times for the first time this year and it was genuinely eye opening for me. WHEN THEY FIGHT AND THEY HIT EACH OTHER WITH THE SWORDS THERE ARE SPARKS!!!!

Yes they make sword’s specifically for these kinds of things because real swords don’t spark, they add an impurity that makes the sword worse but we’re not looking for actual combat here are we?
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!!!
I went to one so long ago in Baltimore.
My cousin rooted for the green knight and was absolutely DEVASTATED when his section lost. I’ve never seen more tears on a child’s face.
Man I kind of want to go to the one in Dallas to see what this is all about but having an old man there by myself might make it look creepy
I sat in the "bad guy's" section way back in the day, and we didn't have any problems rooting for him because he was OUR bad guy. We were like, "YEAH! Boo, you other people! We're awesome!" Factionalism sets in pretty fast and hard in a situation like that. Then once he went down people were allied with their other nearby sections.
This sounds about right. It’s one thing to wonder if your guy is gonna win, but it’s something else entirely to know he’s going down and hop that he goes out in a blaze of glory.

I actually got the rose from a knight once, on a school fieldtrip. I was partnered with a friend and her parents, who were our chaperones. When the rose was thrown to me, I caught it, but my friend literally SNATCHED IT FROM MY HANDS, saying that the knight "meant to give it to her." Her parents ordered her to give it back, but she refused, and I started crying. Her parents were so nice, though, and asked the staff to get me a new one!
Wha- how dare she! XD
Friend of the year she is NOT!!
On one hand, that’s a rude move. On the other hand, she was a kid so I’m not that upset. Feel bad for both of you in this. Glad her parents were nice though.
That is NOT your friend, honey! Glad her parents were on your side, though! I know most parents would have done differently.

I remember when my knight became the villain. We were cheering for the black and white knight and when he revealed that he was the villain, we were surprised at first, but then my whole family and a bunch of other people started cheering for him. We all went to the dark side after that, but I think it’s funny that an 8 year old (me) and her dad were yelling for the black and white night to “FINISH HIM!!!!!)
so you wnt
I did that to but with the green knight 😂
Honestly the whole crowd when I went two weeks ago joined the dark side. Something happened and the queen asked the crowd if the knight should be spared or killed for losing his fight…everyone cheered for finishing him off so the queen ignored us and said he shall live. This was before the green night turned villain
Fun fact: Every time my grandma has gone to Medieval Times, she has always been assigned to the winning knight.
Wow your grandma is really lucky

Literally made me throw my head back laughing with that delivery: “THEY had a queen and THEY had a queen… but *I* don’t got any queens so GO FISH.”
Dang it, that’s the 13th time you said “Go fish”! What do you have, Becca?! Also, it is pretty funny.
4:16 for my trip to Medieval Times, the Green Knight was the winner of the tournament. He looked like Thor and gave me a flower 😊
"HEY! What the hell?! I didnt tell you to cheat on your wife!" has got to be the funniest sentence in this entire video😂

I went to the Maryland Medieval Times a few years ago around my birthday and my family had the green knight. I was in a big Hunchback of Notre Dame phase at the time, and the actor looked exactly like Phoebus from the movie. (So you could imagine how quickly my almost 17 year old heart fell for this guy 😆)And as someone who loves to play along with acts/shows/characters and whatnot, I played along like it was a real joust and as any honorable court lady would, cheered my knight on excitedly. I think he was happy I was playing along and returned my blown kisses when he threw me my flower. When he revealed himself as the villain and said all those insults to the queen, I remember acting like a lover scorned, yet still pretended to mourn when he died. I still have the rose he gave me preserved in the fridge.
You can preserve roses in the fridge? How?
@@cherries4164 First, you have to get a clear plastic box like the kind a corsage comes in. Then, cut the stem off, placed the flower in the box, and put the box on a shelf in the fridge. The flower won’t keep forever, but should last a couple of years as long as you don’t take it out.
I live i Australia and don’t have these here but when I was little I went to one in Las Vegas I think, and I was on team Hungary have no clue the colour but I was very upset I wasent on team green and then ate my words when my guy killed the evil green

Hilariously enough, the Green Knight at the first show my girlfriend and I ever went to was the good guy AND he won the whole thing!
Same thing here.
Rebeca said at the same point that she says it’s aways the green knight (4:16) that the *only* exception to the Green night being the bad guy is when he’s actually scheduled to win that particular show
@@Shiverous I've also seen a show where it was the Black and White Knight as the villain and the winner funnily enough
Where was this nice Green Knight when I was a kid. Whenever I was on the green knights side they would lose, And when on the Red Side that usual always won in my case, THE GREEN KNIGHT WON!
i mean in arturian legend the green knight was meant to be an abscued character that had a badass axe and a steller armor 😅
I remember going to medieval times. I got the queen of the tournament sash as well, and my brother was actually one of the first boys to ever get a flower. I also liked not having to use utensils.
I actually applied for a job at medieval times. I applied to be a squire, something they were really hurting for, I checked every needed box on the application, did Theatre for over a decade, experience with stage combat and weapons, and studied medieval customs and history and I was still rejected. And do you know they reason they said I couldn’t be a squire? Because squire was training to be a knight, and all the knights had to be guys. So in other words, I couldn’t have the position because I was a lass. But they happily offered the job of dishwasher or bar/kitchen wench. -_-
They're supposed to ACT medieval not THINK medieval. Sorry this happened :/
Well it’s trying to be true to .. medieval times which is the whole concept of the show, so it isn’t surprising you got rejected as women were not often knights lol
If at all
I will be peeved with you. Always wanted to apply, but men only... And I ain't no wench😜
That's messed up. At King Richard's faire in Carver, Mass they had a female knight and man my gay heart was swooning, she got some of the loudest cheers and was in the same armor as the guys. I don't know why some people assume women can't be amazing knights
"There were no utensils in medieval times, hence there are no utensils AT Medieval Times. Would you like a refill on that Pepsi?"

Maybe I can bring my armor and crossbow since it's the medieval times

As someone who has insider info from my visits I'll try to explain some of your grievances!
1. The torture museum originated as something for the more adult crowd as almost everything about the show and presentation is super PG or PG13. As far as I know the torture museums are going to be phased out of the castles to make room for other necessary amenities (family bathroom, quiet rooms, storage).
2. The winner and villain of the show depends on which show we are talking about as they change every 4 years or so. The previous show had a designated outside villain, a GoT inspired northman or viking. As for this show the colour that wins or is the villain often changes weekly or even daily depending on what the manager of the knights decides. But yes you are correct that in a previous show the green knight was a designated villain but currently not the case. And you are correct that there used to be more villains that weren't associated with a specific knight.
3. Knight are instructed to throw flowers to young children and elderly women so as a college age person it makes sense he'd skip you but you screaming definitely changed his mind to give you the sash haha
4. you kind of already figured it out but I had this happen to me too. The VIP package says "front row OR first 2 rows on the middle sections" didn't know that the first time but sometimes if you make a request (politely) to be not in the middle sections they can sometimes shuffle you around to be front row in another section. Your waiter was probably new and didnt know what the package included I've had that happened to me as well
Most of those torture devices in "torture museums" are not Medieval. Iron Maidens not real. Chastity belts later didn't exist, most of it is victorians attributing non Medieval things to the Medieval Period.
Glad to have a clear answer to the questions of the video, you a real one.
I remember goin to one of these in SC and no “torture museum “ was in sight

I’ve gone to a medieval times once, it was a school activity and pretty much everyone I talked to loved the experience. We got assigned the green knight, and honestly he was the protagonist in all of our eyes, the most charming of the bunch. Our green team was so lively, we had interactions with various staff at multiple points, made enemies with the red team who were in front of us, became besties with them later in the show, and were by far the most supportive of the groups. Everyone would scream their throats dry whenever the green knight came out, or rode past our group on his horse. He didn’t win, but wasn’t the villain either. I remember his death filled the arena with legitimate cries, it was so heartbreaking for the green team. I got a flower as well! Very happy about that. All in all, I really enjoyed it, very fun experience and honestly, in my eyes, the green knight will always be my favorite of the knights. And if your curious about who won, I think it was the black and white knight, or the checkered knight.
I actually just posted about having a similar experience- the Green knight I remember was and is still my favorite, even if it's been years since I've gone. :)

I went to a Medieval Times show at the end of November this year, had gone to the bathroom because I had been holding it in for half the show, came back during the falconry section, THAT BIRD NEARLY SWOOPED ME.
Bonus tidbit for the show I went to, the Green Knight was actually not the villain for my go-around, it was a classic Disney twist villain reveal of the YELLOW KNIGHT, who was a full on "Muh Honor" mysogynist near the end. Don't worry, I got a photo of me stabbing him with a prop sword I bought.
My favorite part of the Ren Faire is the torture museum. 😂
my favourite part was when rebecca was being ignored. such a touching moment
I wish my ren fair had a torture museum. All we get is a parade, a cheesy obviously scripted joust, and an admittedly fun as hell giant swing.
Mine had one of those. It was called the Museum of Cruelty
I actually visited a torture museum in Tuscany years ago. The most prominent thing in there was a guillotine that you see from outside the building when the front door was open.
I love the show there’s another show Buena Park I think it’s a Buena Park but it’s pirate themed and it’s really cool
I went to Medieval Times only once years ago when I went to Florida with some relatives, and needless to say I couldn't quite enjoy it myself. Not necessarily for the reasons you listed here, but because I was feeling weirdly overwhelmed by the crowds and atmosphere and everything that we had to leave before I could fully erupt into a panic attack.
I really should go back one day and give it a legitimate chance, it always looked fun through the lens of others partaking like this.
Great job on the video btw, I stumbled across one of your Shorts via the "recommended" feed, and decided to check your videos. So far this and your "WORST PRANK" videos are already my favorites.

English major student here: the green knight probably (or, considering the horns, most definitely) references "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" (author unknown), in which a Green Knight shows up at King Arthur's round table during holiday festivities, and challenges the king to a duel. Sir Gawain, seeking fame, stands up for Arthur and fights the Knight, beheading him. Then, the Green Knight picks up his head, puts it back on his shoulders, and says that in a years' time, Gawain must fight the Green Knight again, and the Knight will do the same Gawain did to him. It's a cool story and not too long, but it DEFINITELY fits any medieval show. There is also a movie that takes some... creative license.
I'm guessing you hated the crap out of that movie.
I actually liked the movie. Yeah it wasn't tit for tat the original story but I did enjoy what we got and what story it was trying to tell.
I myself had always had good experiences at medieval times, but I had an old teacher who went once, and during the falcon show the falcon flew into a wall and DIED. Like literally did not get back up it was crazy. They just continued the show like nothing happened 😶😶😶
The first time I ever went to Medieval Times, I was around 8-9 years old and the knight I was rooting for saw me with my giant cone hat and decided to take his rose and give it to me as a cute gesture. Little me was so flattered XD And of course, it was the green knight I was rooting for. Oh well!
The reason for the Green knight being the baddie is due to the old Arthurian story Gawain and the Green knight... where the green knight is a full on immortal fey creature... hence the antlers.
If I remember correctly, while there are stock elements used by all MT, the actual storyline used is revised year by year and at the discretion of that franchise location's troupe.
My memory of going to medieval times in Florida when I was little had the black knight as a participant but then had another outside knight ride in as the baddie to disrupt the tourney.
@@christopherszynkowski2524 so then nobody was stuck sitting the evil/loser section

I got a rose from a knight once and I was so excited but then felt quickly deflated. This was last year when I was 19 and I thought "gasp! I'm an adult! A pretty adult that got a flower! Yay me! I'm old enough to get a flower!" But then I looked at other kids getting flowers and thought "er....maybe I got the flower because I look like a child and I'm sitting in between my parents..." I have a baby face and get mistaken for a 12 or 13 year old. Still a fun experience but I had never gotten a flower before so I was just excited.
I've got to say I love rewatching this video it's one of the few things that still puts a smile on my old face
Since you're doing a whole queen thing, I guess I'll tell you that during my 4 years of high school, my homeroom teacher nick named me queeny or queen Elisabeth for some reason, seriously I had no idea why she gave me that nick name, till I deiced to ask her a month before my gradation, and she said in her own words" It wasn't because you were bossy or anything like that, I called you that because you remind me of how a queen should be, kind, hard working, helpful, and graceful." I honestly did not think of myself as that, I was just trying to be myself and spearing god's love, on the last days of school, she even thrown me a party with cake and crown for me.

I worked at Medival Times in buena park 2018-2019. I was a gift shop employee for a year and a server for about 7 months.
Some things that she doesnt know, seats are literally first first serve. Want the best seats? Be in line first and be vip.
Secondly, the black knight story wasnt used for multiple years by the time i worked there.
When i first worked there, there was no king, just the princess and two dudes that help her run the kingdom.
Every show, the color that is the villian and the color that is the hero are predetermined. But the roles where different colors each show. I got asked who wins and who loses, and i always had to explained that the only people who know are the actors and knights.
Also, do not come if you have animal allergies, you will have a reaction to the horses.
A bit into being a server, the story change to one about a Queen. I actually liked it more.
Okay some additional stuff, little girls have a better chance at getting the flowers, knight favors (the ribbion), and lady of love and beauty. Sounds like to me the knight just wanted to impress some women.
you CAN get utinesles, they will be plastic, and the servers are instructed to deny they exist unless the guest really doesnt want to eat with hands.
Betcha that Knight knew exactly what he was doing giving Becca that banner. She was sort of acting like a Queen who was being ignored.
This video has reawakened some memories from when I was a kid. I went to a medieval dinner show when I was about 10-11(?), and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! I wore a pretty dress, I ate food with no silverware, and I drank “dragons blood” ( it was really tomato soup, but who cares) I remember the torture museum in there and how my mom shielded my eyes from the entrance. I didn’t pay much attention to it after that, but the one thing I did love, was when one of the knights rode over on his horse to where I was sitting and gave me a pretty purple flower 🌸❤ He gave other people flowers as well, so it wasn’t anything special, but it felt special to me lol! 😂 I don’t actually remember much of the fighting, but I remember being severely overstimulated because of how loud and bright it was. We actually had to leave early because my mom is allergic to horse hair! 😂
In the end, I did have a good time and would like to go back now that I am much older. I just can’t help but wonder what the experience will be like now. 🤔
OMG this just reminded me about this one time when I went to this kind of show in Las Vegas. It was at the Excalibur Hotel and they served this really good looking food but my eye was on this carrot soup and so I started eating like 3 bowls of it. The next day guess what happened…..I got some sort of food sickness or poisoning. My lips went a little gray ngl, my stomach was a wreck and I was weak with a capital W. Moral of the story: love the show, traumatized by the food. :-)
@@kal-elavila5235 omg! I’m so sorry that happened to you! But I’m glade that you still had a good time at the show at least. The worst thing to happen there was when my mom got sick because she’s allergic to horse hair. I don’t know why she still went since she’s allergic to, but who cares lol 😂
Epic, Knight riding on a hose
First video from this channel to be recommended to me, holy shit I was surprised by how good it was! The animation and expressions were so fluid, and you had some good points. Though I stand by the torture room’s existence, it’s in line with the general medieval vibe of “Party and drink while some guy is in an oubliette in the other room.”

When I was a kid my family went for my sisters birthday and I got the queen of beauty scathe and that’s the only thing I remember and I was over the moon. And that’s how I became egotistical- 👍
I loved the torture museum!!! Cause when you look back on it it shows how different we were and how similar we are today. It brings to light an industry run by both church and state to abuse the peasantry of their crimes instead of fixing the societal issues that lead to it.
Ive been to medieval times twice, and got a flower both times. Both times my parents pointed at my head. I was so happy and felt so proud of being picked, that I started collecting and drying flowers. Idk where my first flower went, but I have the second one.
Awwww that's so sweet
I remember going to see the Medieval Times Dinner Show in Orlando with my family when I was about 16. As I recall, we passed by the torture exhibit as part of the entrance (there was a mom in front of us joking how she needed some of those items for her kids). We were seated in the green section and yes, they did call us out and accuse of potential treason. But in the show we saw, it was not even one of the knights who turned out to be a traitor, but some lord who was supposed to be loyal to the king. It was hilarious how we all cheered when he was led away with an actor playing an executioner following him. I think my brother commented how our knight looked a bit like Orlando Bloom🐎

My family and I went to medieval times and I kind of went down my neck and looked a bit depressed in the photo because it was a very upset inside and I don’t mind. My sister-Lily became the princess a lot of beauty and I got to shake the Red knight’s hand. Because I was at his section when I was there at the time. It was amazing! I loved it! I’m like mind doing it again if I got the chance.
I love medieval times, and a while ago they used to pick a random person out of the audience and they would get to walk around with the night and like pretty much be the queen and then get flowers. My MOM got picked as the and she got to sit up on the top Where the queen and the king sit. And I was always like why don’t they do that anymore because I would love to do that, That sounds so much fun!
I do remember a show i went to at my birthday having the black knight being the bad guy, and i think he turned to the Queen and said something along the lines of “I shall defeat your knights and take the throne by force” which i thought was menacing as hell as a kid
I went to medieval times once, and got named queen of the tournament of my section. However, I was just so tired after doing errands with my parents, that I didn't know the knight was standing there with a pole attached with a flag at the other end, and had to be yelled at to grab the flag. Fun memories
Queen of TH-cam ❤❤
_The sheer amount of joy that this video brought to me was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious._
_Thank you._
Did i have a stroke this?
Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious?
i have such vivid memories of this show, i used to go ALL THE TIME as a kid. i remember i got one of those little sashes one time and i literally lost my mind
8:01 Lol maybe you wouldn’t have gotten that Queen banner WITHOUT insulting the knight Becca 😆
I drove through and been to Illinois millions of times, and I still have yet to try Medival times.
I’ve seen those Medieval shows when I was a kid and I remember rooting for the red knight. (Which he won.)
Like my comment plz
same
I forgot how many accents she can pull off it's honestly amazing
I can now happily say that Darcy and Belos are in a Rebecca video WOOOO!!!
YESSSSSSS
I went to medieval times on a school field trip and most of my school got the bad guy knight (i think it he was the green or black knight) and we CHEERED for that guy. He wasn't that villainous from my memory but it didn't matter how evil he was, my entire class and many other classes were DETERMINED to be the loudest for our evil guy. We booed when he died. It dorowned out a decent amount of the cheers.
2:45 "Red Knight throws his shield but Blue avoids- OH, MY GAWD! PUNT KICK, HE NAILS THE PUNT KICK FOR THE WIN!"
That man went from fighting like Captain America to use one of the finishers of Randy Orton in a span of 3 seconds, that has to be a record
Would have been even funnier if he did the RKO afterwards
*I HEAR VOICES IN MY HEAD*
our green knight is mid, but the BLUE KNIGHT. oh boy. HE’S the bad guy. and we always get him, except ONCE in my sweet 16, we got the red and green night who slayed the day away.
The fact that the guy gave Rebecca a Queen of Love and Beauty banner anyway was so legendary 😆
The head movement but statue like body in the dress has me dying... All the attitude in just the neck and eyes! Great work!
As a history buff, I have mixed feelings on Medieval Times. The many glaring historical inaccuracies make me cringe, but if it helps young visitors to get interested in history, I see that as a win
Meh! It's harmless entertainment, no one's watching it with the assumption any of it's 100% accurate.
As someone who's also history major and working my thesis. My topic is on the american circus, and that's more akin to how I saw the performance.
Hush huuuush
Yeah, but as a history buff you don't just feel this way about that particular show, that feeling is a lifetime commitment.
same...
I would love to know what everyone's (specifically Rebecca's mom, brother, and Brooks) reactions were when Rebecca screamed "You suck". 🤣🤣🤣
i would guess confused laughing
That jest
This was spot on voice acting 5:56. And omg the dress is beautiful
Yeah.
IIRC, medieval people did have utensils, but they were made of either wood or bone. Neither of which are very sanitary to use in the 21st century.
I'm currently on a school trip to medieval times. I'm so excited and am now rewatching this. Im dressed as a pirate because it was the beat my theater class had
When my friends and I all went as adults, we got seated in the green knight's section. ...We cheered him on SOMETHING FIERCE the entire time and started villain chants. Afterward, he came out and gave us all a hug for cheering him on. It was fantastic. XD
Holy shit it's crazy to see that this channel has blown up. I remember 6 years ago I found it with the "my teacher killed someone" vid... glad to see you getting the recognition you deserve
4:30
Honestly, the only horned villain that I *truly* recognize, is Nightmare Moon
Rebecca: Talks about a medieval themed dinner show

I haven't been to Medieval times since 6th grade! It was so fun to watch knights and eat the food, brings back memories
I love how Becca can perfectly combined her hilarious jokes with awesomely talented acting voice to make the bet jokes imaginable. And this video is a perfict example, like at time 2:02
Dude the banner thing had me cryin
5:34 *the dog of wisdom noises*
So true
Rebecca causing a fluke (a time in structured in proud for something random and insane just happens for no reason that wasn't planned) with the lack of flowers and start an argument with her kight was hilarious
😆🤣
I feel so much better about being sad that I didn't get a flower as grown woman lol.
Last time I was at medieval times the red and yellow knight was the bad guy . . . And that was the knight who we were supposed to root for. Kinda sucked, but since he didn’t have any misogynistic or racist dialogue we still rooted for him anyway. Sucked when they killed him on the grounds of “being a dishonorable murderer”
I remember going to one of these in the southeast of the US when I was on vacation with my dad, step-mom, and older brother. Dad also had enough money to get us all VIP passes and we sat in the front row as well. We were in the blue knight's section, and when our food arrived, I immediately dug right in. I remember having corn and a chicken leg. I actually got a flower from the knight at one point, and I also got the "Queen of Love and Beauty" banner at the end of the tournament. I was wearing noise-canceling headphones/earmuffs because my ears were still sensitive to noise when I was younger, so I couldn't keep my crown on. We also all got a picture to remember our trip, and it was one I'll never forget.
My local ren faire had a house of torture on the way to the food section. I went through it in fifth grade, coincidentally at the same time I was really into Edgar Allen Poe. I had fun but retrospect makes me worried about how easy it was to enter as a child.
I went into medieval times before😃 It’s such a fun place and the experiences I had there were awesome. It was also cool when the blades struck sparks whenever the blades touched.
One time I went to medieval times and it was AMAZING. I also really liked how they were serving us “baby dragons” as our food
Oh no 😅
I love how she beheads the cards of some of the more hated mons as a threat.
Recently I went to Medieval Times for my birthday month and it was great. My family and I was in the Green knight section. Remembering your video, I expected my knight to be the bad guy but nope. The bad guy was the red knight this time and the Green knight was the champion. Our section was cheering for Green whenever his turn came in the games and the fights. One kid in the audience was cheering 'Let's Go Green' until everybody suddenly started chanting it. The food was good, especially the dessert. My sister caught the white rose and gave it to our mother. During the fights, my sister and her partner has to leave with my nephew because he was mimicking the sword fighting with his toy sword bought from the gift shop. Speaking of the gift shop, there was some cool items like statues of dragons and fairies, wands, swords, journals, and more. If I didn't have a dragon plushie at home then I would have bought me a dragon statue or plushie because they look amazing. There was no section for the torture stuff but a window where everyone can see the horses' butts. I'm not joking. They have a bar and the only two non-alcoholic drinks are slushies of different flavor and shirely temple (hope I spelled that right). I bought myself a slushie and my aunt a shirely temple without vodka. For some reason she seems suprise that the temple didn't taste like a temple. Probably because she never tried one without the vodka. She shouldn't have alcohol anyway, she's the driver. If only I can say the same for my sister. She was drinking a cup of alcohol and acting like a party girl. The rest of my family wasn't drinking anything before the show starts. On the bright side, my sister's partner was driving and sober. We drove to there in separate cars. We get to keep the cups so they make good souvenirs from this experience. During the fights, my second aunt and I had gotten really into it and was cheering on our knight as if our lives depended in it.
Wow, when I went I was in the Red section and Green was evil. Glad to see my man is getting his villain arc, though.
This video was so much older in my brain like i was at medieval times yesterday and kept getting deja vu cuz i watched this video when it came out 😭
My mom passed away in March of this year. Something she had been looking forward to was the family trip planned to Medieval Times in April to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Normally, family events meant money had to be put forward to participate, and we never had money to spare for things like that. Medieval Times was one of the few times my mom was able to find the money to join in. With her passing, I ended up going with the family in her place. I think I was able to enjoy the experience so much because I wanted to make it count in honor of my mom. That, and my little sister was a couple weeks off from her fifth birthday, so I was fully engaged and building up her excitement. Our knight ended up winning, and my little sister was chosen as the queen of love and beauty! That made me really happy, and I firmly believe that was my mom's spiritual influence. We still have the tiara and sash given to my little sister, and we put the picture of her taken that night next to our mom's urn. For that reason, my first and only experience at Medieval Times will always be special.
