A quick tip to find the " holes" in the ground: If there are 2 or more ore rocks in a mine level, the hole is usually close to them. If there is only one or none, the chance of the hole being near the exit rope is very big. This is not always the case but I noticed it working for me 90% of the time.
I instinctively did something right :D I always hit the small rocks first to find the hole for the next level. Stone Domino was the first perk I unlocked, but I preferred to upgrade my sickle first, because I want to clean up the ocean^^
I always mine the stones nearest the ores, usually I've found the shaft to be close to where the ore is. Except for levels where there's no ore, then you're on your own
In an alpha backer. Never really played the game tho. I believed in the vision and wanted to play once 1.0 dropped. Booted it up for the first time last night and I can already tell this game is a GOD DAMN MASTERPIECE. I am so excited to play. Thank for the videos as they are helpful for early players such as myself :)
Hi Sarah! you are my guide for coral island gameplay. always seek the information from your videos and always enjoy to hear your voice too. maybe could you make the videos about Ocean Cave on Dua Pulu , Tiga Pulu what for? have you ever explore that maps? i need your guidance and inspiration what that cave for. thank you and hope you always be happy and healthy.
Ive been playing in short bursts, usually 1 to 3 game days when i get a chance and haven't encountered the skill page thingy yet 😅 next time if i have some points im all over it
After you've finished all the floors in the mine, you might wanna come back to just loot ores as needed. It's a bit time saving when you dont have to fight every monster you see. Maximizes the amt of ore you take home
It's good to know I've been doing almost everything right so far, it's pretty intuitive. My only gripe is how low the spawn rate is for dropping mine levels, Had to use 4. I repeat, 4 of that Jamu drink things, which is 300+ stamina for 2 in game hours, and I still couldn't beat a 5 level stint. It's a little unfair and feels like such a waste, even with all the things above being done, AND the levels in mining to give the skills.
ive mainly been focusing on the mines and the sea. ive neglected my farm and relationships so far. anyone got any tips for me? should i be doing something specific?
Talk to people. You needn't go out of your way to do it, either. Just pause and talk to NPCs you run across in the course of your day. It will be especially easy to talk to the merchants, since you are already in the store. Once you have met everyone, you will be able to find them on the map, which will save you some running around and guesswork. Attend the festivals, and talk to everyone before you trigger the main event. Keep an eye on the calendar, and gift the NPCs on their birthdays for extra points. Take note if an NPC mentions wanting something, or liking something, since that makes it easier to gift them later. So far, in my playthrough, most everyone likes those coconut drinks you can buy at the Beach Shack.
Hi, I know this is off topic, but I'm having a problem donating items to the museum. I can only donate 11 items. Once I donate the 12th item, my games completely shuts down. Do you have any advice?
I made it all the way to Fire Cavern on the first Spring year by using ropes and dynamites. Stocking on ropes is a lifesaver when the 31st to 39th floor is so wide and packed with stones while it's already late and my stamina is low.
Idk how it was before but geode and crystal/gem drops seem very unbalanced now. I've been mining so much with and without explosives and barely any geodes drop in any of the mines. Which makes finishing the rare gems altar extremely frustrating (it's the last one i have left) i've spent almost 60 game days now on this. It's getting ridiculous.
I recently stopped playing because the drop rate of needed items in the mines seems so low for the fact the mines don't reset till the following day; as well as earning money in any category seemed way too low compared to other games in the genre.
I have only finished earth and water. The day im on is summer 7. Once you find the grouping of ore(if there is one) on a level. That is the only one that will be on that level. This has been true for the 80+ levels i have completed. Someone let me know if i am wrong. This saves time because you can focus on hole hunting after you clear the ore patch.
I wish they’d fix it so taps didn’t disappear off of your farm. I just got this game on my Xbox and I put some taps on some pine off my farm and season change they disappeared. This makes zero sense. And I’m having a really hard time getting ore lol. So double hurt.

I'm not into mining at all and got through all 4 mines just by turning combat off and using a butt ton of explosives hahaha, it worked a treat!
Did you know "Butt ton" is an actual measurement
@@Mishiikiins yeah its similar to "Big Ass Load" lmao
Yeah explosives and ropes for me xD cause ropes just need stone which is farmed by the explosives xD
The Queen of Coral Island is unstoppable
Even as someone who has played during EA these tips & tricks videos are always such a great refresher, so thank you!!

I upgraded my sickle first too, I loooove the ocean. But pickaxe will be the next one! Are the holes always below small rocks?
thank you Sarah I didn’t know about the last 10 levels you’re a lifesaver!!! 🤩

I totally agree. It is a masterpiece!!!!! Glad you found her channel. She is so knowledgeable and has been so helpful!
I just started playing last week and I am HOOKED. It is so good!
Another great video, thank you! I always forget we can fish in the mines, especially in the lava.
I had no idea what to do with those rings and already halfway through Wind, lol. Thanks!
I love watching you tackle the mines on your livestreams. This video is the icing on the cake putting all your tips and tricks together. Thank you!
Every new video I watch i learn something new, even if is about stuff like mining or fishing. Keep making the amazing content!!
Thank you Sarah for all the content!
I couldn’t find many geodes and now I realize I should get the Geode finder perk!! Thank youuu!! 💞
Upgrading my pick axe was a must for me when restarting for 1.0!
Great guide, thank you! Am starting my own island and your guide has helped me a lot
Thanks for the great video!
Hey there, I just wanted to say that I really love your videos. They really help me out as I'm new to the game. Have a good day. :)
Thanks for the tips! Would love to see a more in depth video on combat like the type of weapons and shields!
Thx u. Pls make enchanment guide too. Which gem must i use to make my tool the best tool as soon possible
So helpful!! Thank you!!
Thanks for the tips!
Ouuu! I didn't know about the ore veins. So helpful. Thank you
Thanks Sarah!! I was so confused in some parts of the game and your guides are amazing 🥰🥰👏🏻
thank you for these amazing tips Sarah your the best i’m so grateful to be part of the community
I did not know how the rope worked, so I've been saving the free rope. I'm now in the fire cave floor 25. XD
So I’ve already gotten through the mines but imma watch this video anyway

I was in the middle of the mines on level 32, and you just saved me time. I was about to waste time and stamina I did not have, thanks
Hi Sarah, I'm new to your channel. I enjoy your content! That is all.
They changed the sounds of some of the monsters and now I feel pity every time I've to fight the green bugs. 😅😅😅
They make sounds?! Whenever I go into the mine, there’s like no sound… is my game bugged? I’m on PS5
@@MrHdog111 sounds/music on consoles is apparently bugged but the dev team is already working on it :)
Might as well add tips for enchanting tools! ❤🎉
I want that great sword! Hasnt unlocked for me yet. I have the Naganian
Any reason for trying to avoid combat? Its quite easy and no energy needed.

I just started playing this like 3 or 4 days ago and I feel Like a pro already cause I'm a pro at stardew valley and this game IS SO similar

It seems the mining holes are usually around enemies or ore rocks, is what I noticed.

This has been reported to Stairway and they are presently working on it.
@@FayeBDragon thank you so much for you quick response.
Any bugs or glitches report to their discord. They also are communicating what they are on the process of fixing

While I was in the mine they gave me a hammer for fighting, should i sell it or just keep it?
Wonderful tips and tricks as always! I would love to see/learn more about enchanting tools using gems and relics found mining etc
You bet! It's in the works, thank you so much Anneva
Do the rocks respawn?

Wait whattttt i just know thats what the rope for 😭
can anyone help me? I lost a sword... :/
@@majkson0073 did you check the blacksmith?
Playing on Xbox, the drop rate seems really low for anything other than basic rocks. Definitely the most boring part of the game.
