Thanks so much for demoing this model! Been waiting to hear/see a “good” demo of this guitar. I enjoyed your clean sounds as well as your overdriven ones - my kinda sound! Lastly, so glad you had the blue one. If and when I get one, it’ll absolutely be blue!
if you haven't I can confirm its a fantastic guitar, ive owned it for 7 months already and it sounds, feels, looks a lot nicer than my old epiphone es335. restringing it is a b**** though lol
@@jaroslavverner1613 I bought a blue one a couple months ago. And yeah, it plays well enough to be a keeper. Last one I had was made of Basswood. This Mahogony one has a better sound to it. Slowly upgrading small things on mine. It's my project guitar. And yeah, changing strings with a bigsby is definitely annoying, ha!

Brilliant demo. Wide range of sounds (jazz, clean, funk, gain....) and not the usual issue of too much delay and effects

These are the best cheap guitars, and some of the best playing/sounding guitars available. I have much more expensive guitars, and this is the one I reach more often than anything else. Great review of a worthy instrument!

does this guitar neck dive? how did you deal with it?
@@lcglazer It does a little bit. I just use a strap with suede backing and the extra grab cures it.

I have the same guitar without the bixby, I'm a beginner guitar player..... I'm wondering if I should have gotten the version with bixby? Is the tremelo bar that important?
hello Erik, as a beginner it is not important in my opinion. later on it depends on the style you want to play. I would never buy a Gretsch without Bigsby since I use it quite often playing rockabilly and surf. Anyway, you can still install a Bigsby later if you think you need one.
