    Thank you! I’ve had my mojo sitting in the box for about a month because I am intimidated by the idea of pricking myself and also was afraid it would be complicated/confusing

      No worries! Just set up the time, date, year. If they are not right dates; you will get error message. She is very good on her website.
      Use orange button in battery area on back to set.

    I was intimidated just hearing about It, so last month of January, My best friend bought me the new Keto Mojo, for my birthday. That was so sweet & nice of her to do that.     When I use only my glucose meter for testing I only change my lancet once a week. To change the lancet every time as you said in this video what is you beliefs in that? Why every time? The lancet will work quite a few times before it needs changing.

    Thank you so much, after searching you tube your video is the most instructional on the keto mojo. I still don't understand how the mechanics of how the lancet works, what do i push to on the device for the finger prick?

    What am I doing wrong. I can’t get my strips to take my blood. Where do I hold the strip. What is the trick

    My fingers dont apparently bleed well. I tried multiple time and I literally can't get my finger to bleed enough. So needle just isn't long enough 5:46 . So this thing doesn't work for me. Literally hardly end blood.

    Where do you get the ketone strips for such a good price? On amazon they are quite expensive. THe glucose strips are cheaper. Thanks.

    It didn’t work out for me. I’ve wasted 3 strips because I couldn’t fill them up with blood. It came out so little blood from my fingers and I try in many of them. Even though I used the device in number 3. What’s wrong?

      It's tough to know without seeing you do it....but make sure your hands are warm. Try running warm water over your hands for a minute or so before you prick your finger. Also make sure the needle depth is set deep enough.

      Always wipe away the first drop with a tissue, then test the second drop. Also let the alcohol air dry before testing.

    How do you know what level number is what? which num is in ketosis and which is not? Im so confused

    What time is the best to test

      Ney Niya! For a good baseline test, it's best to test about 1 hour after you wake up, before you eat. Testing the same time everyday will help you track your progress.
      If you want to see how a certain food effects you, then test before you eat that food, then again at 1 hour and at 3 hours after you eat. This will help determine food sensitives.

    To do it correctly do not use te first drop of blood. Wipe it off and squeeze another drop out and test the second one. You will get a mis reading.

    When you test in the morning are you fasting or you do it after breakfast?

      Hey Bea. It depends on what I'm testing for. I will run a baseline test about 1 hour after I wake up, but before consuming anything but water.
      If I'm testing how a particular food effects my ketones and glucose levels, they I will test before eating, and 4 more times after eating in 30 minute increments. It's a great way to test which foods effect you the most.
      Since I've been keto for almost 2 years, I no longer test everyday, but only when I'm experimenting :)
      I have another video coming out soon testing a particular low carb sweetenr :)

      Gotcha. Then I definitely recommend testing before you eat then every 30 minutes for two hours after you eat when testing out a particular food.
      Ideally, you don't want your glucose level to increase more than 30 mg from your baseline.
      Since you are pre-diabetic, it's super important that you know which foods will take you out of that range.

    What if I only want to test my ketones not my glucose

      You can do that, if all you want to see is that you have ketones in your system. For me, I like to test glucose for 2 reasons.
      1. It tells me how certain foods affect my blood sugar
      2. It gives me a better picture of my state of ketosis

      It has been working great for me too! Mojo Td-4279. For the first time I used that key strip to see my code is calibrated. It worked number 644 code!
