If you don't hurry your cuts by rocking the saw, your wood will come out with a way better finish and won't work you so hard.. your saw looks a bit undersized and that may help to address as well

The saw was definitely underpowered and I'm not to worried about the finish as it all gets run through the jointer and planer to get a smooth surface when I use it for a project.

I'm not sure at what angle hus is sharpened byt for milling it should be at a 10 degree angle 🙂
