i had the same problem until i started playing ranked arenas. I know ranked arenas are looked down upon cause of the rp/ap system but gaining rp wasn’t the reason i started playing them, it helps with overall gun skill and the actual mechanics of the game such as playing around cover and trying to get better damage exchange until your team gets the first knock when to push but not over push and get shredded from a player who’s holding a angle that pushed back to heal lol plus you don’t have to worry about third party’s all tho you still have to worry about getting pushed by more than 1 player if they get an early knock, you can easily 1v3 a team by backing up to heal then playing around cover especially once you get put in that predicament countless times it becomes easier and you can be more relaxed and actually think about how to win the fight lol i found it a lot easier to learn how to play with a teammate downed when i know i don’t have to constantly worry about getting 1v6’d 😂
You're right. I constantly forget cover, as well. But some of my best performance is typically when cover is nearby and I use it at least once. Just spraying someone and hoping to kill them first often kills me because their other teammate is nearby. I can do decent at 1 vs 1 but this is not a 1 v 1 game.

Valkyrie flies up and downs our sniper, then her team charges in blasting and we lose. It makes trios feel nearly impossible where duos is doable. The video definitely has some tips for staying alive in a fight, but I wish it covered more on engagement or what to do when you're just plain out of cover. My favorite rage moment was when I was using one of those launchers to move from A to B, and someone SNIPED ME from full to dead in two shots. Feels like I'm playing with KBM players here.
I keep getting 2 shot with bows and 9 bullets from r301 and flatlines to the head jump sliding and rounding corners and even when im having the drop on them, some react instantly and knock me In less than 2 seconds
•Go to the Firing Range. •Grab an automatic weapon. •Grab Amax ammo. •Find a wall. •Shoot and keep note of bullet spread. •Now.. while shooting again, follow opposite of the previous spread. That’s recoil control. 💜
Internet connection is key. If your playing at 105mbps against a player playing at 900mbps every shot the hit registers and 1/4 if that of yours will. Those instances where your enemy shoots 2 bullets at you and you die but your death recap says he hit you with 20 bullets. He's got better connection. Since I've upgraded my internet this rarely happens. When I was running on my poor man internet this happened all the time.
Upload/download speed doesn't affect games really. What you are looking for is ping, also this can be affected by: The speed of the server, the amount of people playing on the server and how close you are to the server. Ping is the amount of time taken for a server to respond to your request if I recall correctly and the general "good" ping to have is anything below 30ms on average. It also depends on how good the game is at handling high ping, I've seen games where 90ms ping is playable but others where you just teleport around and everything breaks.
@@xihtym ping is the speed (measurement) between two devices/networks. It's how long it takes for two devices or networks to communicate (talk) to each other. Upload is how fast your device can send and download is how fast you recieve information.
Find your playstyle, a good way is to use gunfight to see where u lack, then u get the legend that eliminates your chances of loosing a gunfight, u feel slow? Play octane, u feel like u're easy to be pushed, play caustic, fuse or wattson. The legend only completes the gun skills, sometimes they are too powerful like fuse's clusters :/ Hope this helps

this is why I play crypto he is a good character to fight only when it’s necessary before I get into a fight I put my drone in the sky that way we will still see people when their hiding or just to get better aim of them it’s like being bloodhound but the tracking stays on I know people will shoot down your drone that’s why you only put it at places that is not obvious for them to see I sometimes put it behind people
They're just really good at controlling recoil. You have to practice it, and every gun has a different recoil pattern so you have to switch accordingly

I've watched hours of these videos and despite that whenever a pixel of my character comes out of cover to peek I get beamed by an R99 from across the map, or I manage to get some damage on the enemy but they still push and beam me while I'm reloading. I'm honestly getting tired of this game.
what i dont understand is when these pros shoot with an R99, it holds perfectly straight. When I shoot with an R99 it flys around like a damn fire hose
Tips don’t really help when you can never hear footsteps in a game that’s built around the premise of the 3rd party, which you can never hear coming until half your health is gone. A better tip: put the game on a new game engine that works👍.
I've been playing Apex since the beginning and I play hours A-day. I'm level 500. I still average far less than one kill a game. even when winning games. This video seems like super super advanced. Half the time I don't even know what you're talking about.

There's a TH-camr named Treeree, his signature push is a crouch slide into a tapstrafe into a wall jump, into another tap strafe to enter the fight while above thier head. I use movement like this constantly, and its great for those situations where you have to stall a fight.
Honestly, great tips and video, but why does the commentator have to sound like he is screaming all the time. I almost got a headache just 2 minutes into the video... please tone it down a bit, it's super annoying, at least for me personally. Oh and also, i love how he talks about not leaving cover and waiting for opportunities in the beginning, while running around completely in the open in the shown video footage because he is just better with his aim. :D
honestly, you guys should make this patreon info with the video available for like 8 hours and with broken links to it afterwords to get hype. Just saying, its a great way to keep some folks ignorant and easy targets while promoting (forcing) people to get here quick, which in turn promotes large view counts by thirsty players. Putting it behind a small paywall afterwards forces people to pay for info if they really want to learn and sets a monetary bar that would keep some folks from learning. I'm all about info being free in a lot of real world applications like cooking/gardening/trade crafts, but competitive gaming should keep the hood over the engine so we all can play "bots" now and again.
The only problem in a Apex is the SBMM been playing for 1 year all a get is noobs all the time kids a cared to rank and they can't even handle them self. soo yeah

Play as much arenas and express as possible. Every character is playable you just need to get used to the gams
Well you haven’t even unlocked more than 2 legends so just play with every legend that you have while unlocking meta legends and yeah
