@majorronaldmandell7835 he was released far away from people, but I suppose it's still possible. But anyone walking out there should be aware that there are venomous snakes around 👌
These Cape Cobras are grumpy and dangerous. So much attitude and aggression! Kevin you are amazing at capturing these beautiful snakes, and the speckled colouration of this guy is truly stunning! I was quite surprised at this family’s acceptance of the deaths of their dogs.
only grumpy and dangerous because of circumstances! On my farm I come across them and as long as I am respectful and don't allow the dogs to hassle them they don't even bother to lift their heads, they go about their business very peacefully.
Great catch Kevin. You are always so calm and caring towards the people and the snakes. Poor guy was very angry. I am a huge animal lover and was devastated that the dogs got killed but so glad the snake and the residents were not hurt. Are there a lot of incidents in your experience where people and / or animals are bitten? Is there any treatment for Cobra bites?
There are a few incidents like this throughout the year, but the vets do have antivenom for pets. You just have to have money and get them there on time🙈
Thanks for a great video and saving the snake. It’s so unfortunate that those dogs have to die in the process. This is the second snake video rescue that I have seen where the snake was in the toilet
Beautiful color, but sheesh that mister meant serious business from its temperament especially. So sad for the dogs that unfortunately paid the ultimate price. Worse is some people's (utter) ignorance when it somes to wild animals. Great stuff Kevin! 👊
Man thats heart breaking that the cobra killed two dogs. That is a ROUGH way to go. I live in the US and my dog got bit by a copperhead and she was in so much distress...I cant imagine a cape cobra bite 🥺
Good day Kevin, I was thinking of a improved solution to get the captured snakes into the tube, sometimes they are hesitant and I thought maybe try a black tube instead of a white tube as you said they like to go Into dark places, dark tubes might be a winner winner Chicken Dinner
How long would it take the venom of a cape cobra to kill your average dog? Part of me wonders if they did not bother to take the poor dogs to the vet :( Unless maybe they just didn't know they had been bitten..... And that is a beautiful cobra, btw. Usually those guys seem a little bland looking to me, but this one had a really nice pattern. Spicy as hell, though! 😳😳
Thank you for telling them they cant kill the snake nor are you killing it The snake is doing what snakes do, protect themselves Absolutely beautiful cobra ❤
Wow Kevin, I am so glad I am not your Mom.... I don't know how she copes watching you work with these snakes. So scary. Don't get too familiar with them and complacent... take care. Also going into areas.. Keep safe and thanks for your work. Very sad about the dogs..
Yeah im rich westerner but the judgement in these comments is ridiculous. Pure virtue signaling lol. People refuse to realize that different circumstances result in different mentalities
Wonder if they offer snake awareness training for dogs in that area. Their lack of an instinctive fear to...much of anything in general is dangerous if they live an area with animals that might not give them a second chance to learn from their mistakes.
Very sad for the dogs, but they obviously went after the cobra. He may have been in a bad mood, but you can't blame the fellow in those circumstances. I once had to catch a smaller cobra and it took almost an hour to persuade him to go into the tube. In all that time he never once hissed or struck or showed any aggression. He was under my dogs' bed so he needed to be moved.
Kevin sir, you are the man! Sad to hear about the dogs but you saved the snake from harming anyone else or other animals! Thank you!
Thanks man!😁
Saved him from killing someone you say? Yeah. Sure, temporarily, until he changes his location, or someone walks through his domain!

Absolutely love the commentary 🤣🤣 Especially when the Cobra went in their direction 😅
Watching you from Perth, Western Australia. Love your videos!
Thanks Helen😁🥳 I appreciate it!
❤❤ still following you from DK. You need a medal for staying so calm with all that excitement 😊😊
Thanks for the support!😁
Yep you deal with the excitables with charm and grace..well done Kevin
"The excitables..." So accurate! 🤣
Thanks Bruce!
Which area is this? Sorry for the loss of the dogs
Was in Bethelsdorp 👍

Loved the YOOOOOOOH 😅
😂😂
Watch everyone turn into an 8yo girl!
It sure sounded like it😂
Poor dogs😢
When he shot out as soon as your grabbed him! Jirre 😂
Ya bru! He wasn't happy! 😂
Nice rescue, and a very animated bunch of people !!!
Thanks Andy!
Also Kevin, cheers my guy. You are a saint, so patient and humane.
Thanks Stephanie😁
Sad about the dogs, thank you for your work! "You look lost" 😂 SA Vibes, love it. 😅❤
😂😂
That Cape Cobra is also known in Afrikaans as a Geelslang. We had plenty of them on our farm at Withoogte Uitenhage. Great job Kevin.
There are loads in that area! Thanks Tony😁
Thanks for a great video and saving the snake. It’s so unfortunate that those dogs have to die in the process.

There are most rats at night.
Water?
Terror and humour.. You're the best.. 👍👍👍

Beautiful specimen, but yo! ... a feisty bugger! Good job Kevin! Pity about the dogs though.

Absolutely great work. Have you ever been bit?
Thanks!
Not by a venomous snake😁

Dude, where do you release these snakes? What area?
Cape cobra! So beautiful 😍
Lekka Snake, Colours/spot vibe was really nice . Nice work
Thanks James😁
Great catch kevin, I feel so sorry about the dogs
Thanks Nicole. It is sad👎
@@KevinUlett your welcome, it definitely is
That is a beautiful but, very mean cobra. I feel bad for the families of the poor dogs that died.
Scared not mean. The cobra, which is a small animal, was scared of being killed
Mean?
Defensive. Understandably... two dogs had just been harassing it.
Gorgeous animal. Stunning.
How does snake antivenom work, like is there antivenom for boomslangs?
It is made in a lab😁 and yes, there is antivenom for boomies 😁
They always seem like happy people considering their living conditions
@@colinnz they all sound drunk
Kevin - Have you ever rescued a Black Mamba?
I haven't hey. They don't occur where I am unfortunately 👎
@KevinUlett ahhh, shame. Only snake that scares the sh*t out of me 😬 cheers for the reply Kev 👍🏻
😂❤😂liebe Grüße aus Germany !
MR Cape Cobra looks extremely angry.
He was very defensive after the dog and people encounter!
@@KevinUlett It would be a scary situation.
How did this cobra compare in size to other Cape Cobras? Seemed massive.
It's an average size for the area. We occasionally get absolute giants, but these are the sized ones we normally see👍
Great work, Kev!
Thanks man😁🔥
you have good reflexes. beautiful cobra though. never seen that color before.
Thanks! We get some beautiful ones down here!
Didn’t seem like anyone cared about the dogs but you? - sad
I'd be very sad if it were my dogs. Still, can't blame the cobra. It was just defending itself from certain death.
@@sharonrigs7999 yeah I don’t blame the snakes ever - the people around- another story
Life is cheap in Africa
Dogs are family, I would be devastated and they are laughing and happy as can be...😢
Gorgeous animal, but it is indeed a bit miffed, isn't it. Awesome colors.
Watching from SW France

Thanks😂👍
He’s absolutely beautiful ❤ stunning. He’s literally so scarred all these things trya kill him in 1 day!
Yeah, no wonder he was so defensive! 🙈
My fave cobra! thats stunning!
Same here!
I see your tube works every time, but would a bigger bucket and lid be easier
Daaaaaaaaaaang that’s one brave reptile. Never seen one colored up like that!
Dangerous overripe banana!
Best comment ever 😂😂😂😂
so accurate😂😂
RIP pooches, shame..
What kind of cobra? never seen one with those colors before
It’s a cape cobra naja Nivea
Pandemonium!!! 😂😂😂
Was this in India?
Port Elizabeth, South Africa 😁👍
These are the people and communities who get killed in sa by snakes when weather turns etc and they dont live in nice houses so give them some respect

Who else got jump scared ? 2:35
Me😂😂
👏👏👏👏👏
That’s one angry snake 🐍😱😱
They like music.Do you havea flute
Have you ever had a snake spring out of that container?
Such a typical response from people, so much education is needed before these beautiful reptiles are safe from ignorance.
Have you ever been bitten by any highly venomous snake? Either way, thank you for valuing life.
@@RANGER73CPT not by anything venomous😁👍
Very bright yellow hey wow
Probably the prettiest one I've caught to date!
Possibly the angriest snake I've seen on all the SA snake catchers videos,he's probably been a bit tormented by humans and the poor dogs.
Yes, he was very defensive after all the excitement!
Wbat a beautiful snake. Poor dogs, but it happens i guess.
Unfortunately it does.
Lol people exited 😂😂
That was sad about their dogs.
not sure Keven but i don't think the Cobra is so fond of you ;)
nice catch btw but a bit to close for comfort at times
Thanks! They aren't fond of anyone😂😂

Oh my ..is that snake hissing? Poor dogs.
They do hiss like that when they feel threatened 😁
😳
Sending it off to strike more ppls pets is crazy
It shouldn't come into contact with people again👍

not really for dogs this side unfortunately
Most snakes when released take right off, Cobra's like to stay and fight..
For sure!!!!
They suppose to keep the dogs away mann so sad. Not much you can do obviously the dogs tried to kill snake but he was quicker and dangerous
Yeah, they only found the snake after the dogs had already died👎

Looked like a building in the background? Not exactly bush you released him into?
