Good job Kevin! Dangerous because of the disarray in the backyard. I sweat while watching this video😳...Always be carefully dude! Good luck for ever! 👍
Ironically, fear is our greatest protection from snakes and virtually everything else really. It takes courage and skill to remove and relocate these valuable creatures.
I was also sweating. I liked South Africa when I visited it ... but I am happy that I did not know about these many dangerous snakes there. I would have been full of fear all the time.
@@lightstrikejman6733 I had a traineeship as student in Johannesburg for 9 weeks in 1988. In the free time, I saw Durban, Garden Route, PE, Cape Town, Kruger Park, Pretoria. I rented a wreck somewhere and drove many kilometres.
Why? I used to do pest control. I went to wrong houses occasionally. It was no big deal. I even gained a few customers, but I guess it doesn't quite work that way in Hospice. 😊
Have these people ever thought about cleaning up their mess? Maybe next time they can catch the venomous snakes 🐍 Please be careful Kevin😳 It was a close call. Still you're my favorite snake catcher❤
Great job Kevin despite the uncompromising and dangerous position. Beautiful snakes - luckily we only have Adders here in the UK that are venomous and I've never seen one despite being in the countryside. All the best.
Amazing Kevin! Catching a mating pair. The different colours and tails is clear to see. Love from Still Bay SA . Full of Puffadders btw . Nearly stepped on one bare foot at my kitchen door a few years ago! Opened the stable door to see one of my cats fixated at the bottom of the door I was about to open. Looked down and there was this 1 meter plus female. Had a chat to her, she put her head up against the bottom of the stable door ,forking her tongue at me. Told her leave me and my cats alone and all will be good. She moved into the corner and curled up. Phoned Cape Nature. Guy that caught her said it was the most relaxed Puffy he had ever caught! 🤣🤣👌👌Keep up the amazing work!
U R freeking me out dangeling arietans high up like an acrobat! If you would have to do it again, would you do it differently? Love you filmed the ground motion of the animals. Thanks for sharing 👍
It was a difficult one, for sure. Not much more I could have done differently, to be honest. I would have liked to have gotten a proper grip on the female the first time, so it didn't get so close to my feet, but sometimes it doesn't go the way we intend 😂
Great rescue Kevin, amazing that you go for one snake and there’s two waiting for you. That home looks like a disaster zone for kids and snakes to possibly be in contact with, and there seemed to be a good number of kids! Not to mention the gardener! I hope this guy paid you well, as there were plenty of nerve wracking moments in here! Well done, you deserve far more subscribers!
Wow, you weren’t exaggerating in the least! You managed to capture great video of the action while precariously balanced on a questionable wall, having enormous puff adders crawling next to your unprotected feet -nearly brushing up against your bare calves! I would let the parents know they should vigilantly watch out for more boys to come around looking for that female…and clear the brush out of there!
Thanks for the support! Ya it wasn't a straightforward one at all😂 but we got it done💪 They will probably have many more in the future being so close to the bush at the end of the road!
Dude, you're a boss, going to help your neighbors, and helping these beautiful snakes. I don't know how you get the guts to grab those suckers by the tail, I almost have to look away each time lol.
When you handle venomous snakes and spider's even with the best safety precautions in place accidents can happen. I was just bitten by a very large copperhead. Even after receiving 6 vials of antivenom I'm still having serious issues. I've also been bitten 4 times by a single Black widow spider. Symptoms are similar to a heart attack chest pain, sweating, nausea, intense tummy pain . By the time i got to the Emergency Room i had a fever over 105°. Every muscle in my body screamed out in agony. I was packed in ice , given vial after vial after vial of antivenom, but the venom continued to wreak havoc. For months i was left paralyzed, after months of intense therapy slowly the feeling started to return. Today i still have issues . Like seizures and severe leg pain whenever i develop a fever. Muscle spasms. One thing you can be certain of when working with venomous snakes and spiders is that you can never be certain how any snake or spider will behave at any given moment. The key to surving a bite with the least amount of damage is to quickly identify the species and get antivenom asap, unless you receive a friendly warning which is often referred to as a dry bite..
How horrible! As a chronically ill person myself I am really sorry that those bites happened to you and that you still have bad symptoms. I do hope that your symptoms will get better over time.
Most times, I don't unfortunately. People would rather kill the snakes than pay for someone to catch them. So that's why it's awesome to get support on youtube, as it allows me to keep doing it😁💪

Stunning serpents!

A certain amount of fear is a very healthy thing.
That's true! It's easy to get 'comfortable' too. And then you get a wake-up call like this🙈
That was a bit close for comfort! Well done on another great capture Kevin.
I agree🙈 Thanks!
Wow that was a challenging rescue. It must have had your adrenaline pumping a bit when those tongs got stuck. No panic in you though. Nice job Kevin.

Excellent removal. You came close to getting tagged at least twice. Puffadders exercising restraint. I’m surprised how much they liked you.
Ya, they did come close. But the circumstances weren't easy either 🙈 but puffies are very common in Port Elizabeth, so we see a lot of them!
