I love your content. I work as a cop in New Zealand and recently got my TEFL certificate to teach English, watching your vids make me want to live in Saigon! Will be in Saigon next month, can i buy you a cup of coffee madam?
Your apartment is very beautiful and designed artistically. You kindly share this video with us, that's why we can see any modern apartment in your country.
Thanks for sharing!! Beautiful view and nice apartment! I’ve been thinking about moving there as well. I’m from Texas and only been to Vietnam once. I’m a bit nervous lol
For 90m2, they should have done more of an open kitchen. For my apartment in Phu My Hung, I did a much more American style with a huge island opening up to the living room. So many of the Vietnamese apartments use the 'galley' kitchen which takes all the joy out of cooking. I get that traditionally Vietnamese tried to hide the cooking/prep but it makes a huge difference if you are entertaining guests. Oh, also my tip would be to rent in an apartment with a GS25 - the best convenience store chain hands down!
Vietnamese foods using lot of fish sauce, Western style kitchen inside the home or Apartment not suitable, especially a humid and tropicalweather . The Architecture in Vietnam lack of ideas and creativity , they just copy from a textbook. A dumb and stupid people.
@@amt7877 I don't like the smell and aerosolized oil going everywhere in the house. With a lot of Asian cooking under high heat in wok, you need a closed off space, even with a fan. In China a lot of fancy homes with have both an open kitchen (for vanity) and a close kitchen where it cooking actually happens.
@@ssap9894 You're so right about the cooking smell. I have an open floor plan home in the US but I cook outside. Don't want to mess up my nice kitchen and stink up the house :D
Kitchen... why would you really worry, one person in a unit, there was no mention of entertaining ! with such outstanding food in Saigon, fresh, tasty and so cheap !
I'm with you; Saigon is like New York of Vietnam because of its diversity of culture, language, food, and nightlife. It's also the most expensive city in Vietnam. If you have a good job, you'll live comfortably with lots of savings. Have fun in the city!
I've just rented a top floor apartment, 14th floor. Simple, clean and modern. Has its own pool, a shop on the 4th floor, a big park next door and killer views. We pay 3.5 million per month. I could buy it for 5 mllion per month. We prefer to reinvest our money into our business and ourselves. January 2023, we are looking at buying a shack on a mountain. Why line other people's pockets.

I will appreciatte your help and imformation.
@WhatThePho Hello Vân, could you do an episode on what’s considered rich in Vietnam? Especially, what vietnamese think you should have per month to be considered a rich person
Hi Van: Thanks for the video. Do you need to get drinking water delivery or do you have a filtering system in the apartment or apartment complex? Also, does the rent include cleaning services?
the rent doesn't include the cleaning services and it's up to you in terms of drinking water, you can buy a water filter and set it up at home so that you don't have to buy water
Safe Fire Escape routes available and not blocked? second floor the best in case of fire you can jump out of your windows and use ur mattress as landing ground very important sister. Cheers BJ AUST
Hii! I am from Sweden, travelling around trading atm. I am very interested in going back to Vietnam for 6-12 months, do you happen to know how to solve the visa issue and tax stuff?
I really wish that you would Mic yourself when making your videos. It really would make a big difference in sound quality, and is very inexpensive. Otherwise, I enjoy your content.
Very nice apartment, is there a way for US citizens to stay longer then 90 days? I've did some research and it appears that Vietnam does not have a friendly visa policy. I would like to have a home base in Vietnam and travel neighboring country. I don't need to work, and do not want to invest in the country yet, until they have a friendlier policy towards foreigner. Love your channel and content!
After I find a place to live, I’ll want to look into teaching English and I’d like to get into a cooking class. I want to learn the local meals and understand what makes them the way they are. I need to learn the ingredients. 👍 Can you point me in the right direction?
You should have shown us down stairs and around the area!!! Content needed to have more in-depth then just basic sit and talk Van. LoL, I know you can do better!!! You can do it Van Vu, I believe in you.
Very nice! I charge about $3,000 for my condo in downtown Toronto, Canada and it's not as spacious and nice. LOL I think I should retire in Vietnam in 20 years! Btw, can you do a video on How to Live/Survive in Vietnam if you can't speak the language? 😅

Nice vlog 🔥 Hoping to meet you before I return to my country on Dec 11. Cause I think you’re near in District 1. Looking forward for more vlogs about Ho Chi Minh City.
Nice apartment 👏👏, however I noticed there’re no bed sheets, only a thin mattress topper to protect the mattress. Is it normal for VNMESE to sleep on the mattress topper without bedsheets? Just wondering … 🤔🤔
Hey thanks for your video and your other one about why you moved to Vietnam. Not sure if you will even see this but I totally understand what you were saying about Vietnam Awakening your senses. I have just been again and took some friends who absolutely loved it We sponsor orphan children up there so have a really good reason to go and each time I go it just revives my soul. @Van Vu, i have lived in a few cities in Southeast Asia. The one thing I didn’t care for living in a high-rise building in the city is the smog pollution entering the windows on bad days. How is the smog pollution comparing HCM and Hanoi?
It’s nice and big apartment for one person. The view over looking the Saigon river and other high rise building looks stunning especially at night. Oh HCMC! it has been a long 17 years since I last returned, I miss you so much 😴

Well- done video & nice apt. As other commenters have said: apt & house tours are very common & useful so more by you should get many views.

Why Vietname sets its curreny Dong to 23,715 to US$1. Why cannot they do a "reverse split" to make it maybe US$=23.7 VND?

Which website did you use? Is there a month to month luxury apartments for rent ?
Hi Van: Thanks for the video. Do you need to get drinking water delivery or do you have a filtering system in the apartment or apartment complex? Also, does the rent include cleaning services?
the rent doesn't include the cleaning services and it's up to you in terms of drinking water, you can buy a water filter and set it up at home so that you don't have to buy water

English is now arguably the second language so within 20 years I would expect that every Vietnamese can speak English.
