Really enjoying your content brother, so good to see a South African putting our quality EDC/self defence and gear content. I look forward to your future videos 🙌🏻
There is a fine line that many cannot distinguish between, between being a hero, and knowing when to de-esculate and walk away, and I feel that ego plays a big role here... In 90% of the instances that one faces in everyday life, de-esculation and walking away with a bruised ago is the right choice, when being armed. I would love for people to discuss and become more aware of this... Getting into a scuffle whilst having a firearm on your person, is one of those very "fine lined" situations... Carrying a firearm makes you a much more measured and aware person and is a massive responsibility. - 24/7 firearm carrier
Ryan, what an awesome video, all the value and info is so relevant (honest) and too the point, your analogy of the sheep dog and the sheep, hero mindset, through to the physical and spiritual fitness. Great message and the work you’re doing in the community (along with others you collaborate with) in RSA is really valuable and growing. Good on you, and thank you! 🙏🏼
Great video, i would love to see a post engagement video giving us legal firearm carriers some pointers on what to do after having to use your firearm.
Thank you Ryan, i re-watch your videos all the time and when i initially watched this video a few months ago, it gave me the "needed push" and confidence to start the process of acquiring my first FA. You have held my hand through this process and your guidance has been like having a trusted older wiser brother. Continue the good work, i support you and Michelle 100%.
Being an American, I feel like a lot of people take our freedoms for granted and don’t get training. Especially in constitutional carry states. Great vid
or they go to one class and think they're "trained" for ever. Most don't even do that, maybe just shoot at static targets at a public range. Never practice working from holster, or using cover/concealment, etc. There are plenty of great training companies all over (especially here in Texas). People need to make use of then. Their lives might literally depend on it.
Pretty much on-point. I have several friends and acquaintances that I've been "encouraging" to start the process (since it can take so long) for quite a while. Every now and then unrest like this takes place and pushes a few over the edge - and now I can point them to this video. I will say that two things that help a lot with staying fit and staying current on the firearm are sport shooting (really doesn't matter which discipline) and functional fitness classes (Yes, I do crossfit). I still long for the day that a tactical games event is held here in CT.
How long does it take where you guys are from? And TH-cam videos with constant (every day dryfire). You can be self-taught. Videotape your draw in slow motion. I say spend money until you hit the right belt and holster. You do a great breakdown of holsters, but the holster is found by buying them. It's very hard. It took 7years of transitioning for me. To find my setup for work and EDC. Do you guys have a USCCA or any type of firearm insurance their?
Yo! Good video, thanks. A while ago you went to a talk on the law and what happens once you have to use your firearm. Could you please provide the contact details or a website where I can sign up for that talk please? Thank you kindly.
Great content as always. Would love a vid on legal advice before and after the justified use of lethal force. Also where in Durbanville would you recommend going for self defense classes like MMA or Krav Maga. Thnx Ryan
I’ve been carrying my alpha tactix holster for a while now hoping the belt clips would break in but they’re still extremely stiff. I was just wondering what belt clips you’d recommend and where to buy them?
I wish we had more training In SA on our rights. And what we need to do after we use our gun
You need to do a law/first 24 hour video buddy
I will work to put one together

Excellent video, I like the part about being a non negotiable protector, like Mike Bolhuis says "we must be paranoid psychopaths"
100%

Hi, another great vid. Can you please break down (in detail) the components of the post incident, ‘after the fact’, lawful actions.
Great video! Change your circle if they are not accepting of a firearm, easy.

Totally agree, sport shooting is extremally underrated in the community but there are so many benefits.

Thank you, I am 68, 3rd Dan Karate and 1st Dan Judo, still fit and fighting fit, thinking about a gun.
A firearm will be a natural evolution of your capabilities.
This. This is so well thought out, a lot of learnings to be had. Thank you.
Thanks man

@greymanoperations. I know you efficient with a handgun but...Home defense? Semi-auto handgun or compact semi-auto shotgun?

Hi. Wanted to ask what you think of less lethal weapons?
Price please

Can you recommend places in Cape Town that I can walk into that will help me get started ? I wish you had your own range..
