This song will always remind me of a girl I met one summer before I had to go home. The morning after saying goodbye to her, I was on the way to the airport and this came on the radio. We wrote back and forth for a year before losing touch. I found her on Facebook 28 years later. She's married with three kids and I'm married with two.

This is the song that was playing on the radio the moment our son was born. We took him to see Richard Marx in concert and he was waiting for his birth song all through, but he said goodnight without singing it and left the stage. My son was almost in tears, but I said to wait for the encore and Richard came back out and sang it! It really was a special moment for us all.

One of the greatest love songs ever. Connected to two big memories in my life ... when my son was born in 1990 and when his father and I divorced 4 years later. And now for the last 10yrs or so Barry and I work together and our Son is the most incredible human being. And even tho we've been divorced for 30 yrs now, I am still right here, waiting for him.
