  • Gansu from South to North (Part 4) - Langmusi, Gansu, China.
    Langmusi, right in the south of Gansu province on the border with Sichuan is a place i have wanted to visit for so long. It is a Tibetan monastery town - the two monasteries here are both wonderful places to visit - The Kerti Monastery on the Sichuan side of town and the Serti Monastery on the Gansu side.
    This is the final video in the southern Gansu part of the trip. After Langmusi, i took a bus north to Lanzhou - coming in the next video!!
    Thanks, and enjoy!

    Hi Nick! Im wondering if you could add chinese characters of these beautiful places youve been, like the name of the temple, the trail.. Coz the pinyin is not very accurate for me to search for the places. Your videos made me wanna go visit those places badly. ☺️

    Nick, you really go off the beaten tracks to bring such a wonderful video and also what a picturesque town. So glad to see it as it is very unlikely I will get a chance to visit. This is probably the future of tourism getting intrepid travellers to bring to those in lockdown and also unable to travel the chance to see such sites and also lifestyle of the people. Shame it is so short and sweet. Stay safe and Jiayou Nick, Jiayou China.

      Thanks! Yeh, this video was a bit short...i lost some footage unfortunately which limited what i could really do with the video. I hope it still gives a good idea of the monasteries however, such a wonderful little place. you stay safe too! Thanks for watching.

    Love your videos. I'm planning a trip here. Did you hire a guide for your hikes or just explore on your own?

    • @nickinchina2552
      @nickinchina2552  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tend to just explore on my own - the only guide i used was when i trekked and stayed with some nomads (there is another video for that) basically there was no other way to do it - a guide was absolutely necessary. Generally, travelling around China is quite straight forward if you speak some Chinese . People are very very helpful too.

      Honestly, still not fully recovered - i fell really badly, never fallen like that before in my life. Luckily it was right at the end of the trip, but basically the footage i got in that small town (蜀河)wasn't great so i didn't upload anything. I might try make a short cinematic out of it but...it's unlikely
