    I’m into Chevys and a bit of dodge. But that 2nd gen looks like it rolled off the assembly line. You did a good job with that truck man.

      For sure im 19 turn 20 in 3 days but ive been working on old 1st, 2nd and 3rd gens since i was 16 I do all my oil changes, body work and repair and we make custom straight pipes that are tig welded completely too.

    Best rebuild I’ve seen. None of that bs led lights, black letters, etc teenagers do to trucks. Nice truck 👍

    The ole girl definitely turned out great. Glad to see another dodge brought back to life. Seeing this series on the truck really makes me want to finally get that 5.9 magnum and 46re out of my truck and get that tried and true 5.9 Cummins and nv4500 swapped.     I am 79 years old and live in Conn. I have a 2002 2nd gen. Dodge with 5.9 V8. I bought it new mainly because I loved the 2nd gen. style. Love to watch video’s like this one as my Dodge is getting where it needs done work due to rust. Great to see you turn an apparent junker into better than new!

      That is so awesome. I inherited my grandpa's 96 he bought new. 180,000 miles. Not a dent in it. My dad and me been working on it since April 2022, getting closer everyday. I hope we can figure out how to do a video half as good as this. Everything in this video is so familiar. Looks just like all our pictures. Can't wait to get it done. Sanding paint off right now. We have the original box but grandpa put a flatbed on so I kind of like that for now. We are running 5 inch stacks : )

    Was just gifted a ‘95 3500. Don’t have nearly the mechanical ability y’all do but I’m about to start a resto on it as well so that I have a dedicated rig for my camper. Thanks for the encouragement/inspiration lol

    Hell ya brother! Just bought a 97 2500 cummins 4x4. Harvesting off my 2000 1500 even the seats from the 2000 to the 97, just gotta take the "bump in front" with the seat. Good call when the driver door works you got a gem baby! Thanks for the motivational video.

    hey buddy, good for you! I started out to restore my 1990 short bed D150 4x4, but the cab /body was so rough, I ended up buying an arrow straight 88 and am now swapping entire drive train from the 90 to the 88(including both axles and diffs.WHEW!!} also robbed elect. leather seats and tilt steering wheel out of a Chrysler "Fifth Avenue"/ I"m in way over my head, no building, Just doing it in the field.... BUT watching your build was inspiring and has put helium of hope back in my balloon! I've got a long road in front of me, but like you, I'll never sell it, It's a family member. I'll send you a pic. when It's done. thanks for the Inspiration!. GOOD JOB ON YOUR BUILD!

    Love my 12 valve, it’s a 97 bought it in 99, still runs fantastic. Unfortunately the body is getting rough on her now but still a great running truck. I have plans to restore it, already bought the parts to fix it. Without a doubt the best truck I have ever owned. Y’all did a great job fixing this truck congratulations and enjoy your hard work.

    Badass truck man.. phenomenal job, I'm currently doing an overhaul on my daily, 03 2500 cummins, has the HO motor, 6spd nv5600, Laramie with the 8ft bed, power everything. Truck was my dream truck also my first, and little by little I'm getting her back to her former glory like you did with this beauty..

    I love that truck! A recent misfortune killed my 1500 with the 5.7, and I decided to take the jump to a 4th Gen 2500 with a 6.7 Cummins. She needs some work, but videos like this make me excited to get to work!

    Looks great! I just bout a 1994 dodge 2500 single cab, 5 speed, 4x4, 12 valve! I got a smoking deal on it and am about to start the restoration on it! Runs great no blow by, shifts great, 4x4 works! All it really needs is cosmetic…

    Man I’ve always wanted to own a Cummins with a ppump I’ve got kidney disease and failure soon in my right. I’d give my left for this truck lol… bang up job I’ve been on and off homeless most of my life. I’d like to start a shop but can’t afford too. Thanks for y’all’s love for these good trucks!

    Love the green on that truck, I have a 97 12 valve duolly 4x4, paint it and do a gasket all around but I’m not happy, still leaking oil, I’ll not take it to the righ people, in Houston need a good recommended up grader shop, looks great, keep on doing things just like it.

    Absolutely LOVE this body style of truck! I also like how you restored it. Perfectly done in my opinion. Its a truck, its gonna get battle scars so you didn’t go crazy show quality/ trailer queen resto, rather you did it how most people can do it if they had the skills.
    With new diesels costing 75-100K….why wouldn’t you want to save her….beside all the other positives to it (great bones to start with).
