ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Going to have to disagree with you: I'm glad they used the classic look for this. This release is waaaay easier to acquire than a BAF for a casual or semi-casual collector who doesn't pick up all figures from a wave.

So I pre-order this figure months ago on Amazon, keep getting emails about it being delayed, hearing it's not releasing until October at the earliest, then it arrives at my house earlier this afternoon and I get a Shartimus review of it too! Now that's a day of great surprises.

Ironically, the Vincent D’Onofrio MCU (Hawkeye series) release is a far from perfect figure.

Pinstripes may have been a problem once you move his legs around. Lines would be off from the waist area to the thigh to the lower leg depending on the pose.

I’m actually glad this figure is single packed. I only say that because half the figures in the BAF wave were duds in my personal opinion. Plus i like the Baf version for my Shadow King better.

That kingpin mold can work for mr fixit but needs a retooled baf legs and arms, mainly taller legs
I agree with what you said about having the original design being released first and the more modern look second as a fan exclusive. Even though I agree with you this time it worked out for me because I missed that BAF and got this one. I actually prefer not having to buy a couple of figures I don't want to be able to get the BAF and I also like this one better. I would advise you to paint the hands that come with King Pin with grey paint instead of using the Hulk hands for Mr. Fixit, the second look a bit big. Thanks for the review Shartimus.
I think the scepter that shoots out beans is a different cartoon. I vaguely recall that as well.

Good idea for the Joe Fixit Hulk, but the hands and head are too big. It could work with painted mcu hulk parts.

Thank god I didn’t buy the Red Goblin. That figure would’ve been more than this one lol plus the color on this one is much better. Hopefully we get a Doc Ock re-release in his 90’s cartoon green and yellow costume.

Good figure. Better review. I had this guy on pre-order. Tightening my financial belt, I decided to concentrate on one line for a bit and sold all but two of my Legends. So I canceled the Kingpin.

Nice review Shartimus. I think Hasbro is on to collectors demanding retro over modern so it seems they are releasing modern ones before retro. This is across multiple lines including Marvel and Joes
They make more money this way. Because they know more people prefer the classic looks

The clear gem I'm guessing it's meant to be a huge ass diamond, a Ruby would be lot cheaper, so I guess It makes sense Kingpin having the diamond
Rubies that size are rarer than diamonds. Without the DeBeers monopoly that ruby would be worth waaay more and the Kingpin would know that.
