He looks good for a "classic" Kingpin, but the all white version based on the Frank Miller Man with out Fear run was superior. The all white suit with black shirt and purple tie made him look more cold and calculating. I'm glad this one came with the alternate head with battle damage. looks cool.
As everyone has already said, it’s an ascot that was popular in the 70’s. Just look up Mr. Furley on Three’s Company. I am glad they gave him a proper size for the line instead of shrinking him down to fit on a peg size to match the others. He is awesome looking.
Im so excited for what this retro idea holds for the future. All the designs they can make... I love most of hasbro's spidey villain designs but there is just something iconic about their old school looks

Yes a retro spiderman wave 2 ,black suit spiderman, sandman, morbius definitely needs an upgrade, the spot, lizard with the animated series head, Hasbro can fill in the rest hell even an aunt may. Great review.
Yeah he needs an upgrade, hell sabertooth needs a bigger buck, a classic sabertooth, a lady deathstrike, kang the conqueror, annihilus, the watcher, morbius ,the list goes on and on.

The orange color on the vest does match on the one that I got from Hasbro Pulse. The vest piece on the chest is much brighter than that on the abdomen. Is anyone else having a similar problem?
in some of my action figure FB groups, i saw where people used venom hands for the shadow king. i think it's monster venom, but i could be wrong. anyways, awesome review dude!
The Caliban BAF hands also work very well, since they're shaded and not just purely white... If you either a) don't mind lighter shaded "monster" hands, b) don't mind painting them darker as wanted, or c) don't want the very dark hands... Personally, I used the Caliban hands and kind of prefer them over monster venom hands, but that's just me.

I could see this mold being used for the base of "The Big Boss" from the Cops N' Crooks Hasbro line.
Gonna use my BAF Kingpin for the Shadow King head that came with Prof X and use this to replace my Kingpin on my Spiderverse shelf
