For info, doors opening if the power is cut is actually something you see IRL, where electric locks will de-engage if the building loses power, to ensure no one stays trapped inside if an incident occurs. So yes, it actually makes sense :) But this was a great video regardless, loved it!
That bit about the creator being involved in that Chat Group drama absolutely blind sided me lol I was like "Oh neat, cool serie-" "And now the Group Chat controversy" "Oh no"
5:49 Deadman's switches and fail-safes like this exist as safety features. Powered doors specifically prevent a fire hazard and entrapment risk in power outages; they'll have ballast weights that pull the door open when it's no longer powered. Electromagnetic locks can also play a component part.
20:07 Redeemer is probably named that as to redeem the creators original idea for the other character in project adjusted (Also this actually really kept me interested in the video so take my subscription)
Bad FNAF fangame idea: so basically, it's a mobile game that takes advantage of the phones gyro. to look around you would have to turn your phone (as if you were watching through a TH-cam 360° video) and to use cams, you would have to face your phone down to look and interact with the monitor. Here’s how to make it a bad game. There are 4 entrances in the office, doors, windows, vents, etc. of course 1 per side of the room, so checking them all you look properly dumb. Then for animatronics we need 8, so because lazy we just take the 4 toy, and 4 withered animatronics. Each of the 4, for both sets will correspond to 1 entrance. Toy animatronics will require you to absolutely not look at their entrance, while withered requires you to look at them. Ensue 8 minutes of frantically spinning around only at 5:50 to forget a toy in one of the entrances and accidentally look past it while going to another entrance to deal with a withered. And then whipping your phone across the room.

I really liked your video, it was very good! But there are some mistakes in the part where you talk about PR's story. The restaurant hasn't been abandoned for a month, Andrew says in PR1 that the restaurant has been abandoned for almost a year now, and also Matthew couldn't dismantle Glancer and Glossy to create Glancy because Andrew says that Glancer and Glossy were unfinished suits
You’re probably right on that first part. For the Matthew creating Glancy bit, I referenced an old lore document that Mechlus made after PR2. It’s very possible it’s outdated though
A peak experience, cannot wait to watch the whole thing. PR3 is one of my favorite fangames of all time, and I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the rest of the series!! Time to pull out the popcorn...
The background music is good but one of the best parts about these games are the sound design choices, you explain them well but nothing beats the real thing :D awesome documentary!
It's been a long time coming, Mr. FiftyFive. While I don't like PR1 all too much (I'm AverageFangamer on GameJolt), this video is just very high quality. Love that you decided to cover a series that really needs it.
You used some of the music from The Endurance. Game made by my favourite TH-camr. I still can't believe that game came out knowing how Eleven often abandons series and other stuff he does without explanation. Great video man, I studied to it.
This video deserves more views. Such a great video on such an underrated series, especially since Project Readjusted 3 has became my favorite FNaF Fan Game since your video introduced me to it. So horrific.
Great video, Sir55! I love all the effort and detail you’ve put into explaining this series! One thing I would like to explain is the PR2 post-night minigame. How it works is that you have to get the security meter up to 100%, which you can only do if the video meter is also at 100%. The tape is meant to push Buster back and give you more time to finish the task. The oxygen mechanic allows you to hear Buster’s movements while it’s off, so that you don’t have to turn around and check him (which is useful since turning around takes away 30% of the video meter). IMO, this minigame is easy for nights 1-3, but has a major difficulty spike on night 4. (Oh, and thanks for the brief shoutout about discovering Glancer’s pathing. I’m glad it was useful information.)
Holy crap jet black looks like it would’ve been amazing if it got finished, Ngl I wish someone would try to remake it bc the character designs and stuff had loads of potential
Man Im so glad someone is covering the entire PR series, Ive recently been going into all the games to check everything this series has to offer and I really wasn’t disappointed by it, I really hope more people check these games out!!
This was quite well put together and enjoyable to listen to during me lonely night shift. Was kinda flabbergasted by the sudden 'hey btw the dev is a real piece of work', but the screwing around in Bust Em Up really defused the shock 😂❤
Watching this kinda gave me a unique idea for a fnaf fangame. So, take the scrapped warehouse version of Readjusted 2, with people, not robots, trying to break in. For once, let's say the security guard actually was given a competent security room for once, with doors that actually work and no obvious huge vents. Instead of trying to stay safe from the animatronics, your job is to stop intruders from encountering them Instead, to prevent potential criminal investigations into the company. Could be like an interesting spin on fnaf, you're not saving your own butt, you're just trying to stop thieves from unwittingly getting maimed. Maybe add a animatronic threat only later on in the nights, to juggle between saving yourself & the intruders. Just an interesting idea, not sure exactly how it'd pan out in game, but something for the planning board perhaps.
think of the fnaf 1 doors as being attached to industrial "springs" and they get pulled down by powerfull electromagnets the electromagnets use power to turn on pulling down the door when the power turns of or the door closes the "springs" pull back up due to being stretched form the electromagnet and thats one explenation if it would work like that irl who knows but thats what i tell myself when ever i think abt the doors. also nice video
The paitents being able to be killed in 3 is so disturbing yet it’s a good mechanic, having another characters who are trapped in the same building and must be kept alive due to them playing an important role. It reminds me of how Luigi works in The Abandonded Factory 0 Nevermore. He’s trapped in the same building as you and he has a taser, only problem is, the lights in the room he’s hiding in has gone out and you need to activate them to alert him of any enemies that sneak into his room. Act too late and they will kill Luigi and they will make their way into your room and kill you too.
5:47 they open after the power goes out imo because it's honestly the more realistic option, after the one factory (IRL) that burnt down and due to shitty regulation, trapped a bunch of people inside to leave them to burn, choke, or get trampled to death, a lot of shit went into making laws preventing people from getting trapped in places they work, it was a horrible event. having the doors stay closed after the power went out is a MAJOR fuck up and would get them sued.
38:54 Curiously, there is a video divided into 2 parts telling the story of project readjusted that Mechlus himself commented on. Although I'm not sure since a few months later the person behind the account changed their profile photo and name. What I do know is that it is 2 hours of the story told in 1st person with original voice acting. Although it is in Spanish :/ Anyway, this video is quite entertaining and I liked it! Good job! :D
Amazing video! I had watched the other Project Readjusted video before and I think that's what wanted me to play the game again and make a video on it. It was so freaking good, this video was a great watch while coding stuff in the background
I’m pretty sure a long time ago, I have a memory of either watching/playing the first and second game of this series, that’s what made the original Project Readjusted 3 video so interesting to me at the time because those games weren’t something I knew very well but they weren’t unheard of to me, it’s kinda like when you have a dream and you can remember slight details but the rest of it became a blur overtime. Readjusted 3’s concept of keeping others alive is extremely cool and the only other game I have seen do this is The Abandoned Factory 0: Nevermore but that came out on July 28th 2023, so to my knowledge, Project Readjusted 3 is the first FNaF fan game to have that concept. 1:01:23 This has the same energy as Tails’ short term memory loss scene from Sonic Boom lmao 1:54:48 Holy shit Iaon jumpscare I was gonna say it still feels weird to promote this series after the infamous Pear situation that Mechlus was involved in though… But then you actually mentioned it which I highly respect, I personally still wouldn’t support Mechlus imo, his actions aren’t something that could just be forgiven that easily. I would have to see more evidence of his change and real redemption to feel 100% okay with supporting this series as a whole but I still support this video and the dedication that went into it. Overall, an excellent video. Your videos are always certified bangers.
Doors are probably made with the assumption they'll be on the power grid, and not on a resource based generator. They're fail-safe, rather than fail-deadly. And, obviously, they're electro-magnetic. If there's a fire, or some other disaster, and the power goes out at the same time, you don't want the doors to be locked shut and prevent evacuation. Power-draw is normally not a factor, because they should be on the grid, and not on a generator/battery. Reminds me a bit of the fire-release doors at the place I work at. You open it, press it to a magnet, and it's kept open for guests to walk through. But if the fire alarm trips, or the power goes, they get released and shut. They're normal doors, so you can open them normally, but they help prevent airflow to an active fire for when people have made it outside. Obviously, you can't really do that with a blast door. Blast doors, of course, are entirely overkill for pretty much any of these games, but we'll gloss over that. Just have a metal door with a lock, man. But that wouldn't make for as fun and curious gameplay :P
A way for fnaf 1 doors to reopen is a larger door that extends into the wall a few inches. In the wall would be industrial springs that hoist the door up at all times. And a hevy hydraulic mechanism forces the door down against the springs to close it potentially explaining the extreme power usage. And when theres no power, the hydraulics fail and the sprigns lift the door
Found your channel with this video and god damn Im happy I did ! Im gonna download at least the Third game and maybe the second one too ! Thanks for sharing more about this hidden gem of the fnaf fangames ! I'll be waiting for your next video !
5:48 imagine some thick strong springs that hold the door in the air when they are unstretched and then imagine some sort of mechanism that is capabile of stretching that strong spring that's how the doors close and when the power goes out that mechanism no longer applies pressure to the door so the springs immiedietly retract along with the door that's how it works.
some clarification: Circipup isn't a new character, he's actually from a game that Mechlus made after Project Adjusted called "Circipark" (the game also was made during the development of Project Adjusted 2)
Very informative! It's cool to hear insight on other developers and their interesting titles. I keep having to listen at different times because its so long. Well done!

Wow this video made me want to go back into the fnaf universe, got a lot of fangames I was so hyped up for and forgot about. The discord groups for these games were THE place to be, met some really talented folks in the artsy channels tbh. Besides that, i also quite like the more realistic setting introduced in the remake. You can actually imagine that building exterior as a normal urban or Suburban restaurant.
i really like that your reviews take, well i wouldnt say a neutral stance but a less negative stance towards the subject matter, even if there isnt a lot of positive stuff to mention. A lot of other reviews that i watch tend to either brush over the positives to keep harping on the negatives, or ignore the negatives entirely and try to make a game look perfect when it obviously isnt.
Why does the concept art for Readjusted 4 go so hard? Like, can I be serious about how awesome and stylized it seems, and what a missed opportunity it is that we never got any use for those character designs?????
mecklace biggest issue is vision, he simply dosent have one. every single project adjusted lacks a vision for story or content, every game works seemingly completely different from the last, there isnt a trough line. the story gets set up and abandoned then set up again. he also over estimates himself or dosent commit almost every time. mecklace can make great things, but he NEEDS to be lead istead of him leading, because by himself he dosent know what/how/when nor why to do.
Now that was so pure gold FNAF fan game. Maybe you can explained the next FNAF fan game called “Graveyard Shift at Freddy’s” the most recent Disturbing Fan game with the design of The Creepy Animatronics and even more monsters too.
5:50 actually if the whole place didnt have the killer animatronics in mind i think it makes sense the door would open so the nightguard wouldnt get trapped in the room for hours on end where they could possibly die from improper ventilation leading to lack of oxygen or starvation even if theyre trapped long enough hell maybe even overheating or hypothermia depending on if the room has proper heating or not aswell
i remember playing project readjusted 2 and when i play it on my low end pc back in 2016 the game was so laggy that the animatronic wasn't even able to move though out the whole game
The most realistic way the doors would work is there is a counter-measure (basically a heavy weight) that keeps the door up. Then running electricity through the system would probably have a set up that pulls them down such as metal levers (hard to explain but think of it like something at the top of the doors that lowers when there is electricity running through it and if the electric goes out the lose the ability to be locked in a down position). An alternate option (based off the design of most of the doors in these games) metal that acts like an electromagnet that works like bullet trains systems (which basically grab the wheels and yank them forward but in this case downward)(for more information look up how bullet trains work). The more likely option being the second one I gave but we can't be 100% sure on which one it is. I hope this helps you understand the doors better. Side note: Love the videos please keep them up. You seem to pay more attention to things than other theory youtubers on here. Kinda reminds me of a more drawn out version of old game theory.
5:44 This actually has always made sense to me (well...as much as having a huge metal door that drops down like that made sense xd) and can be easily explained The thing that requires power is the mechanism (prob electromagnet) that keeps it closed, not the mechanism that keeps it open, which is just a simple lifter which doesnt require power as its just a counterweight that pushes it open as for what its a safety feature against? Its against fire, to prevent the case in which (for example) a guard is trapped in what is now a headbox because of a fire causing a outage (something similar is used in real life)
I remember playing project readjusted after just finding it on my pc and couldn’t keep all the guys alive on the night that had 2 animatronics and those hallucinations
something I don't think he mentioned the entire video is that if you are really close to getting offed and you finish the night, when the monitor goes down, you can see the animatronic that would kill you
Doors that automatically open up when the power goes out actually does make sense from a safety standpoint. You can't just have someone get trapped in an office in the case of a fire or something. As for how that'd work, considering that in fnaf1 the doors drain power constantly when closed rather than only when opening/closing, there is most likely a system that forcefully keeps the doors closed, and when power goes out the doors are released and return to an open position thanks to a spring that is extended when doors are closed.
ik im prob late but I think the reason why phone guy says "if the power goes out the door will opens for safety reasons" I think it's because of the ventilation sense the power is out the vents wont work so the doors open so you can get more air sense if the door are close you have limited air sense everything is close tight
iirc the specific reason that the doors open when they lose power is that they're magnetic. The power being drained is the magnet keeping the door closed which is why it pops open when the power goes out. though why Foxy hitting it drains the power further is anyone's guess, prolly gotta chalk that one up to video game logic
i remember trying to play through these games a few years back 1) pr1 was nice. i found some cheese strat to beat it pretty easily though 2) couldnt beat pr2. i think it was the dude in the window who just kept killing me and i didnt know how to survive it effectively enough 3) pr3 was pretty but i dont think i finished it ig

Completely forgot about the pear group chat, and the segment hit me like a truckload of bricks
what happened?
Bassically it was drama were there was a discord chat full of fnaf fan game creators who were doxxing other fan game creators and even Scott cawthon himself
@@douglasybarra4461 Uh... no. Nobody was doxxing anyone. A lot of misinformation about this has gone around in the last few years when it was not us that found Scott's content or anything of the sort. Ultranite shared it to us from another group that found it because we had not seen it, not that just found it and was planning to "dox" anyone with it.
@@Mechlus-ir2zt What happened? Last time I heard about it they were talking about how they were planning on leaking fangames and something about Cawthon's personal info
@@fozz1437 certain ppl were planning on holding certain fan games hostage with the info they obtained. They’d leak their games to other fan game creators in order to get feedback to make the games better and certain ppl decided to use the info to take the games hostage.
I think Melchus was a friend of one of those bad ppl (wasn’t part of the bad ppl tho).
I did hear some of them had info on Cawthorn too tho.
For info, doors opening if the power is cut is actually something you see IRL, where electric locks will de-engage if the building loses power, to ensure no one stays trapped inside if an incident occurs.
So yes, it actually makes sense :)
But this was a great video regardless, loved it!
That bit about the creator being involved in that Chat Group drama absolutely blind sided me lol
I was like "Oh neat, cool serie-"
"And now the Group Chat controversy"
"Oh no"
I don't even understand what happened. 😢
5:49 Deadman's switches and fail-safes like this exist as safety features. Powered doors specifically prevent a fire hazard and entrapment risk in power outages; they'll have ballast weights that pull the door open when it's no longer powered. Electromagnetic locks can also play a component part.
The door opening when the power is off is for actually preventing the guard from getting locked in their office
Project readjusted is the most underrated series ever, so glad you made a 2 hour essay on it! :D
When the world wanted him the most, he returned!
20:07
Redeemer is probably named that as to redeem the creators original idea for the other character in project adjusted
(Also this actually really kept me interested in the video so take my subscription)
You legitimately made me interested in a fangame series I’d never even heard of before, this was great!
Bad FNAF fangame idea: so basically, it's a mobile game that takes advantage of the phones gyro. to look around you would have to turn your phone (as if you were watching through a TH-cam 360° video) and to use cams, you would have to face your phone down to look and interact with the monitor. Enemies and other game mechanics should align with this gimmick.
Special Delivery?
Hold on.. BAD FNAF GAME IDEA?
that would be lit
@@marxxplaysgamesspecial delivery if they took version 1.0 and ran with it (no shenanigans with multiple shocks and not just reskins of the cast)
They kinda did try with the “dlc” experience but it didn’t go far
And then whipping your phone across the room.
mechius actually recommended your video on his gamejolt
Yeah I saw. I had been working with him these past few weeks to finish this up!
@@SirFiftyFive…you, you what?
@@orisfamaemon ?
@@SirFiftyFive sorry I thought this was “yeah I know he’s an ass but I still want people to play this game” I didn’t know you worked with him on the video
@@orisfamaemon Not really. Obviously I don’t support what he’s done, that doesn’t mean I can’t work with him at all. Especially since this series’ story is so confusing lmao
I hope you enjoy it bro!
Your videos on beating the full 20 mode was insane. My respect for you is still very high.
The background music is good but one of the best parts about these games are the sound design choices, you explain them well but nothing beats the real thing :D awesome documentary!
at 20:19 you can see he realizes a poster easter egg on the wall where his mouse goes
It's been a long time coming, Mr. FiftyFive. While I don't like PR1 all too much (I'm AverageFangamer on GameJolt), this video is just very high quality. Love that you decided to cover a series that really needs it.
Bro COOKED on this one fr fr
5:47 they open after the power goes out imo because it's honestly the more realistic option, after the one factory (IRL) that burnt down and due to shitty regulation, trapped a bunch of people inside to leave them to burn, choke, or get trampled to death, a lot of shit went into making laws preventing people from getting trapped in places they work, it was a horrible event. having the doors stay closed after the power went out is a MAJOR fuck up and would get them sued.
the bust em up segment was so fun to be a part of lmao
Readjusted 3 is one of the scariest games I’ve seen. When I saw buster hide after you shine the light on him I recoiled lol
Finally watched this video while working on a birthday present for a friend! Loved the break down of all the games and the scrapped content!
Your original video on PR3 got me to play the game, absolutely loved this video & was definitely worth the wait
Omg, it's will best Project Readjusted review on TH-cam!
Although it is in Spanish :/
Anyway, this video is quite entertaining and I liked it! Good job! :D
holy peak it's here love you :3
Amazing video! I had watched the other Project Readjusted video before and I think that's what wanted me to play the game again and make a video on it. It was so freaking good, this video was a great watch while coding stuff in the background
Project Readjusted to me has the most interesting gameplay i see in any Fnaf Fan game i hope this vid gives it the attention it deserves great vid!
Honestly its sad to see a serious that had so much going for it be thrown away in a span of a few days
Honestly yeah- I was thinking about maybe checking it out later even though I’m terrible at games and I’m just disappointed he did that
I’m pretty sure a long time ago, I have a memory of either watching/playing the first and second game of this series, that’s what made the original Project Readjusted 3 video so interesting to me at the time because those games weren’t something I knew very well but they weren’t unheard of to me, it’s kinda like when you have a dream and you can remember slight details but the rest of it became a blur overtime.
1:01:23 This has the same energy as Tails’ short term memory loss scene from Sonic Boom lmao
1:54:48 Holy shit Iaon jumpscare
I was gonna say it still feels weird to promote this series after the infamous Pear situation that Mechlus was involved in though… But then you actually mentioned it which I highly respect, I personally still wouldn’t support Mechlus imo, his actions aren’t something that could just be forgiven that easily.
But that wouldn't make for as fun and curious gameplay :P
my fyp blessed me today!
A way for fnaf 1 doors to reopen is a larger door that extends into the wall a few inches. In the wall would be industrial springs that hoist the door up at all times. And a hevy hydraulic mechanism forces the door down against the springs to close it potentially explaining the extreme power usage. And when theres no power, the hydraulics fail and the sprigns lift the door
the video we have all been waiting for...
Well done!
should’ve had more bust em’ up smh (banger video btw)
i like how silly this sirfiftyfive character is, time to subscribe

Oh yeah, this reminded me I had the games downloaded ever since I saw your first video about the third game.
All 7 of us are gunna love this
8!
9, even!
Make that 10!
I’ll make it 11
maybe even 12
5:50 the doors open as a safety measure in case of a fire and power going out
i really like that your reviews take, well i wouldnt say a neutral stance but a less negative stance towards the subject matter, even if there isnt a lot of positive stuff to mention. A lot of other reviews that i watch tend to either brush over the positives to keep harping on the negatives, or ignore the negatives entirely and try to make a game look perfect when it obviously isnt.
First video of your I have seen but will be watching more
Why does the concept art for Readjusted 4 go so hard?
Have never heard of this nor am I intersested in this. I'm still watching the whole thing
The reason nights shifts start and end three hours earlier than usual in FNAF is so when the shift ends you can say “Oh boy, 3AM!”
Well I'm glad you made another video essay 2 years later my friend.
"balloon baby bill" sounds like a name you'd give to a character from aqua teen hunger force
Entry three was terrifying. Keeping the others alive is such a cool idea, full of tension and drama
never heard of your channel till now but looks good take my subscribe
5:44
This actually has always made sense to me (well...as much as having a huge metal door that drops down like that made sense xd) and can be easily explained
The thing that requires power is the mechanism (prob electromagnet) that keeps it closed, not the mechanism that keeps it open, which is just a simple lifter which doesnt require power as its just a counterweight that pushes it open
as for what its a safety feature against?
Its against fire, to prevent the case in which (for example) a guard is trapped in what is now a headbox because of a fire causing a outage (something similar is used in real life)
I remember playing project readjusted after just finding it on my pc and couldn’t keep all the guys alive on the night that had 2 animatronics and those hallucinations
Dude how do you not have more subs people should sub more also great video
You know it's a good day when SirFiftyFive makes a new fnaf video
something I don't think he mentioned the entire video is that if you are really close to getting offed and you finish the night, when the monitor goes down, you can see the animatronic that would kill you
It's just a thing for Busted, was scrapped for a while and then re-added with 3.0. But yeah, shoulda mentioned it.
1:03:03 PLEASE that would be so Peak
i had idea of PR:CN using this as Location...
Watching this with my dove, and I think he's enjoying the vid, he even loafed lol
This is a huge win, hope he enjoys (and you too lmao)
Were you aware your avatar is near identical to thattravguy? It's like eerily similar. Good video regardless!
Man, the FNAF Fanverse really is the Paradise Lost by John Milton of indie horror games
Genuinely a good TH-camr! I’ll be watching MrFiftyFive 🤙
In FNAF the doors open when the power goes out as a safety function.
5:51
That's a massive fire hazard lol
ik im prob late but I think the reason why phone guy says "if the power goes out the door will opens for safety reasons" I think it's because of the ventilation sense the power is out the vents wont work so the doors open so you can get more air sense if the door are close you have limited air sense everything is close tight
Good video fifty💪
i am a huge fan of older animatronic model characters like redeemer and old candy and its just really sad to see them be so underused
iirc the specific reason that the doors open when they lose power is that they're magnetic. The power being drained is the magnet keeping the door closed which is why it pops open when the power goes out. though why Foxy hitting it drains the power further is anyone's guess, prolly gotta chalk that one up to video game logic
1:01:25 I tought my youtube broke lmao
A man can recover from many things; loss of reputation is rarely one of them.
