Stephen Lynch!!!!! Comedy Music! Gorgeous singing and wonderfully sick/wild lyrics. I'm not anti-PC but his stuff would give him trouble now. Thankfully, he has been doing some serious musical theatre work.
This was such a fantastic episode! I could listen to Shane and Kyle talk chili all day. This podcast is such an amazing step up from the boogie monster. The charisma that these two have is unmatched and every episode gets better. Keep up the good work!!!
"Rye or the Kaiser" is the least loved Weird Al song. Shane, your special was consistent and tons of fun. Kyle. Holy Sh*t. We pre-ordered "Dirt Nap". I didn't know you could find an entire higher level! Such an amazing set. The structure of the show was super impressive. The call backs and tightness were so good. We've watched it 3 times already!
I'm by no means an audio snob, but the quality improvements that your team has made to the audio on this pod since you started truly helped with its listenability. Keep up the good work everyone! The subscriber growth is starting to pick up 👍
Weird Al fuckin rules. I saw him at my first concert ever when I was 12 and it’s still probably one of, if not the, best shows I’ve ever been to in my life
God, I love comedy music. Parody and original, I love it all. Weird Al is obviously a huge influence, but the Dr Demento Show was (and still is!) an incredible resource for comedy music. (While Dr D is no longer on terrestrial radio anymore, he is STILL doing his show online every week! He just passed his 50th anniversary, and is about to turn 83! Dr D is THE MAN!) (As a side note, I'm a Comedy Musician myself, and I not only perform my own tunes, I also review and react to comedy music on my channel, as well as running the Comedy Music awards.)
My first ever concert was Weird Al! I was in 7th grade, and it was amazing! Then as a present for graduating college, my dad got us both tickets to see him again. And we went to a hibachi place beforehand, aaand each ordered a bottle of sake. We went into that concert definitely toasted! Only time I've ever gotten toasted with my dad. In hindsight that's a really wholesome moment that I don't appreciate as much as I should. That was dope as fuck! Concert was amazing, by the way!
Kind of shocked no one mentioned Steel Panther. Shit was hilarious for awhile and then the schtick kind of got old. Got to agree that there’s a lot of great musicianship in the parody category.
Weird Al for superbowl 1/2 time Show. 🎶Your so Shane you probably think this song about you dont you oh you your so Shane🎶 You walked into the Arbys like you were waking onto a yacht 🎶 Sorry I couldn’t help myself 23:23 Dr Teeth was old school 😂
I don't know if any Eurovison the Story of Fire Saga songs were included on the fictional band list, but they should be. Also if you haven't seen the Disney special Weird Al Yankovic There's No going Home, give that a watch.
I'm standing over my dead dog rover I hit with a power mower My dog's not eating, he no longer barks He hit the propeller and turned into sparks No need explaining There's no dog remaining He's part of the grass you see I'm standing over my dead dog river I sent to eternity

Yes. Special Ed is a beautiful song.
Yeah, Special Olympics, Kill a Kitten, and Special Fred is too rough for a lot of people now. But that was a different time, brother!
LOVE your show... LOVE Dr. Demento... Parody Music, Comedy Music, Comedy in General in Radio... HEAVEN!
I feel Ike this episode was aimed directly at me! I'm big into Psychostick, mc chris, Weird Al, The Left Rights, etc. Dudesy handshake eveyone.
Stephen Lynch also, how the hell did I leave him out when I've seen him live and not Weird Al?
Super psyched that Psychostick was the first name on your list. Their parody work is top notch, but overlooked

That song gets stuck in my head more than I am willing to admit, but I do love it.
Metalocalypse/Dethklok is hilarious, yet their music is phenomenal. 🤘🔥

John Valby aka Dr Dirty was such an incredible show. Worth a little dive on TH-cam.
Weird Al fuckin rules. I saw him at my first concert ever when I was 12 and it’s still probably one of, if not the, best shows I’ve ever been to in my life
I also consider Weird Al's concert experience to be one of the best I've ever had. He's awesome. ❤️
Hell Yeah! Weird Al definitely Rules! 🤘👀

on the subject of the Yoopers, Nightcrawler Boogie is a slept on classic
I would absolutely recommend seeing macsabboth. They're very fun and put on a great show. I would also recommend clownvis presley

Love their version of "Moby Dick"!
Oh shit! Eddie and the Cruisers reference! This is why you're my guy, Kyle.
Jud-Jud is also amazing.
Sooo good
I forgot to mention Tenacious D...how could I forget about Papa Sass?
Also, I know that Weird Al's Amish Paradise, is the song that will bring me out of my Alzheimer's stupor in the nursing home of the future.
I don't know why, but I read that in eminems voice 😂😂😂😂
You should copyright "alzheimer's stuper in the nursing home of the future", fucking brilliant hahahaha
@@Lethargiccharge Thank you. ( I didn't even realize it rhymed, until you said something.) I really should proofread my comments better.
The best chili advice on the internet.
Top secret was such a dumb, but great movie. All of the good over the top spoof movies back then were a fun watch
Nobody brought up Doctor Collosus? An amazing metal band that just happens to sing about the Simpsons
Shane's guitar recording joke is how Ratatat does it, but I can't tell if Shane knows that or if he's just being wacky 😅
Kind of shocked no one mentioned Steel Panther. Shit was hilarious for awhile and then the schtick kind of got old. Got to agree that there’s a lot of great musicianship in the parody category.
Still touring, behold the power of cheese 😂. Such great musicians being musicians 😂
I've been working on a song to help my daughter get potty trained, everybody poops, sometimes.
Kinane clears his throat like the director wants us to know he's got TB. I hate having GIRD too man, lets start a support group
If you enjoy metal, Psychostick and Little V Mills should be on your shortlist for parody musicians
How the hell did Kyle not bring upTwo Minutes To Late Night? Hes been in some of their videos!
Good way to explain ween
Split screen, boys. Split screen.
Weird Al for superbowl 1/2 time Show.

🧑🏾💻I'm here
I'm standing over
my dead dog rover
I hit with a power mower
My dog's not eating, he no longer barks
He hit the propeller and turned into sparks
No need explaining
There's no dog remaining
He's part of the grass you see
I'm standing over my dead dog river I sent to eternity
Astonishing! Great name, dude.
Everybody knows you never go full Rittenhouse.
Weird Al's originals are as funny as the 'covers'.
Richard Cheese
Bo Burnham
