Neil was born to host. He should host something every single day.
Has he considered parasites?
VERY classy of Neil to keep it clean in honor of Dr. Demento EVEN with the peer pressure from Doug to do otherwise.
I feel like doug and vic were trolling dr demento. Definitely not cool guys.
Nah. They were just doing what they always do. That old guy looked a bit spaced, like he wasn't sure where he was.
@@drumgold23 "that old guy" sigh...
@@drumgold23 it's a hot take, but I think you're right.
Dr. D was one of my all time childhood heroes and I'm glad to see a room full of dementoids and dementites making him feel welcome.
Whaaat, Dengue Fever??? I saw them open for Secret Chiefs 3, that was amazing!! Neil??? Dr. Demento!?!?!? THis is nuts!!
I speak English, and I dig the sound, but I don’t understand the words.
Gregg AND Dr. San?? It’s like a dream
this was a wild one
What do you think was under the doctor's hat?
@@wakegary if we knew the answer to that we'd be rich
Well let's at least write a screenplay for a buddy movie where we find the answer. Well, you do, but I'm kind of the straight edge dork who says it's too risky. But at the end, we're rich and my character actually gets a permanent tattoo! Just one of many arcs.

Where's Gregg?
I NEED that “Pete the Hiccuping Freak” heat on the playlist! 🔥
So so lucky that they hit record when Pete was afflicted, because the odds of a freak both having the hiccups and being studio ready is one in a ji- well, I'll sum it up in one word: Jackpot🤑🤑🤑
Kudos to hiccup bad boy, Pete, and big juicy ups to DJDP for bravely venturing turbodeep in order to truly deliver this meaningful banger... a banger that proudly salutes our nation's brave but frustrated hiccup victims.
Thank you for having this legend on your show. An absolute privilege to see more Dr Demento. We need more of this. Conan was similarly reverential of people from this comedic tier when he'd have Brooks, Reiner, Van Dyke et al on his show. OHL and Demento are part of the same family tree. It's that big, green one that really cool people hang out under.
Her voice took me back 10000 years 🙏💗
And the musical guests keep getting better and better!
that hiccuping freak song was TOP NOTCH A++ omg im GEEKED
It's nice to see Vic and Doug be less nervous and scared without the fear of a beatng from Daddy looming over them. Like cult members when the Leader is off to Las Vegas for the weekend.
Office hours live is just about the best show on TH-cam for years running. Keep it up!! Thanks for the laughs!!
It's so awesome to see Dr. Demento!!!
Love dengue fever... Didn't know they were still around
"you work at Vaughn's" Neil Hamburger on Poolside Chats with tim & eric
with that orange rascal sweatshirt on big E. so cute how much they adored Neil. young LA Guy T&E couldn't help but giggle. Plus, Tom Green... I mean LA is pretty cool just because of this video.
The honor of giving Dr.demento a record he didn't already have.. I'm so jealous
one of the funniest episodes of all time. neal adds so much class to the show.
When the show gets esoteric like this it reminds me so much of Comedy Bang Bang, my favorite comedy show of all time. Props for not being afraid to delve into bizarre humor. It may not appeal to everyone but lots of us appreciate it
P.S. maybe have Scott Aukerman on the show sometime?
P.P.S. Phil Gorsley the zoologist was my favorite guest character
this comment is a mud pie
@@Ashley-jp4nn a sloppy one!
I started doing Demento's tongue action as a laugh and now I can't stop
Petition to add the novelty songs to the new Office Hours Music channel
The animated caller was so cool!
Billy Mumy would be an awesome interview. Before Barnes and Barnes and Lost In Space he worked with Rod Serling and Alfred Hitchcock as a child actor in two classic episodes, It’s A Good Life and Bang, You’re Dead. He has some great stories to tell.
He must also have a _lot_ of crazy stories to tell about Larry "Wild Man" Fischer (R.I.P.)
i love how when tim is gone the boys just let it go on and become unguided interview show.. whereas when tim is hosting his character does his best to ignore the guests as much as possible haha
The hiccups song was 🔥🔥🔥
Finally, some retribution for Sparks!
Dr. Demento is the man! Found a 78 copy of Shaving Cream not too long ago. One of the all time greatest.
GREAT Albert Brooks interview, team!
Good luck on Survivor, Tim. We're rootin' for ya, so be sure and get that cash prize from the famous Jeff Probst.
nobody hobsts like Probst, that's what I always say
I remember trying to explain Neil Hamburger to my dad when he came with me to see the Tenacious D movie. Anyways, excited for Avatar 3.
I love Dr. San, but listening to that music gave me dengue fever
Neil held back on not calling out the irony of Shatner singing a song called "garbage man"
Huge +1. Shatner's very name sounds strikingly similar to "took a dump in her" as if referring to a classic car or something.
Neil, though. He runs a tight ship. He respected the venue and the rules! We used to book Neil at the Friar's Club in Baton Rouge, LA for the early-bird senior dinners. He would always clean up, and that meant setting up the folding chairs in a large circle for the Narcotics Anonymous groups that had meetings after his Dinner Shows. He's always looking for an honest dollar, and I get why. Let's face it: Greyhound tickets aren't getting any cheaper and the deserts of the southwest are just as punishing to a Funnyman as they are to any Tom, Dick or Harry.
Wow the band is awesome.
6 straight fart drops from Doug at 50:42, the pounding! How did Vic keep it together?
duuuuuude I know. so that 'from my head down to my legs' drop is one that I made for Dougg a while back but sent over to him right before. the look/sound that came from Dr Demento during that drop is a life moment for me. I had no clue D would play it and I'm not sure he even meant to (the intro is spooky). But it was a moment, regardless.
lol I think Vic is so empathetic that his focus was airtight. He wanted to make sure that the Dr. was engaged by a megafan. Dougg did not care and it was absolutely bonkers funny. Very bizarre. Perfect. Also, Matt was really cracking up a lot, wasn't he? The things that make Matt laugh are the tippy top of the show, so I always notice.
Had to listen to some Sparks after this.
What a stacked show.
Neil! Ive been longing for you.
I'm with Leodi!
I discovered Neil by watching him open for Mr Bungle's live show Halloween 2020 (full set is on this website). He absolutely slayed that night, even though there wasn't a live audience
@@T00THY_0RiFiCE every time I clear my throat, his soul becomes me. Merely a glimmer of the bright light that is Neil’s magic.
@@LeoDominique23I always thought the throat-clearing was kinda 'hacky'
just a gag, neil is perfect
@@wakegary He always sticks his neck out on the line. Never swallows a word. The spine of comedy.
i only heard of dr demento in passing, i love him. I love dengue fever, her voice and flow is amazing and i dont even have to understand what she said. never even knew about gregg turkington having a alter ego, one of my favorite episodes.
I misread your first sentence and thought it said "I only just heard of Dr. Demento passing" which made me do a Google search thinking I had missed the news of him dying.
Why do I feel like Dr Demento used to talk about Christopher Robin and the 100 acre wood?
Hey, that's some of my favorite meteorologists
Glad they did a song for free now I gotta get the patreon to hear the rest 😂😂
Dr. Demento, hell yea
50:40 is my favorite
Hilarious😂
Holy shit dr SAAAAN is with us!
Please link to hiccup song. Should be released as an EP with the depressed robot song!
UHF will forever go down as one of the funniest comedies ever - go Weird Al !! 💚💚
Best deep cut song is CNR. An underrated comic genius.
Great episode so random 😂
FINALLY. A candidate I can put forth my sword and say "and my sword".. to. THANK YOU.
Dengue fever is so good
Drink every time Dr. Demento flicks his tongue
that's a lotta drinks, guy was flicking like a snake in a hot car
I felt like I was swimming out past the breakers when I saw that tongue going like that. I lost track of the the anchors to what was a bit and who was actually in control of the room at that point. If you're going to drink to that, drink Everclear because they also "swim out past the breakers" and we know this because of the song, "Santa Monica". Actually, drink Jameson because that tongue reminds me of a famous J Jameson.
25 ta life sample at 49:12 whaaaaat
That band was lit!
This is definitely an all-timer, which i almost hate to say
the good doctor's dog-style tongue panting is freaking me the heck out
maybe he can clear up a spot to sit for ya, pilgrim
Super freaky, I love it.
demented
@@TurboCroissant thats the name of the horror movie featuring these cast of character’s. Meanwhile Tim’s surviving on an island…😮
I guess it feels like I’m back after a while too
I love this animated duck.
I want to marry duck guy, he's so wholesome and fun.
Thank you 😍
How did Doug get the licensing for thise hiccup samples?!?
omg is dr. san
Dr. Demento is fucking cool!!!
serial killer vibes 2:56
Pete the Hiccuping Freak is AWESOME
I did enjoy Bobby's trolling, well done.
I feel downright homicidal when I get hiccups lasting longer than a day. That man must have been a lama
One of my favourite episodes. Saw Neil Hamburger in Melbourne and he was absolutely brilliant.
The merch guy was quite nice. No complaints.
In disgusting company though given the awful garbage bands that play there usually, let’s put them in jail.
Weird Al would be a great guest.
Did Gregg have his cervical vertebrae fused?
Dengue Fever is so damn good! Neil should host more often.
50:42. someone made a brown
I thought that was david letterman for 0.13 seconds
Leeeegendary
Dr. San Fever
Jenkies!
Neil Hamburger wasn't so bad.
the duck made it weird
story checks out.
The alex Jones drop. D e d
One of Bart Simpson's mortal enemies

your mom, she owns the copyright in perpetuity
we need tim back
They should get Gregg Turkington to guest host instead of whoever this guy is.
Agreed
Neil is a bigger star. Deal with it!
And a Zip Code Rapists performance of Happy Like Larry
theres curry everyhwhere.
GTFOH That IS Dr San! Holy crap!
CONDOMS?
I don’t know if you guys are aware of what Gary Glitter did, but his name should never be spoken ever again
Beat it! Beat it! Just Beat it!
We all love Thriller.
Fun to listen to during sleep overs.
Demento kind of seems a little like a wet blanket these days
Blonde dude looks like my lesbian aunt
This is terrible, poor Dr Demento
