Now-a-days, instead of using separate measuring core CT (class: 0.2), we use protection core (say, 5P20) CT input in Numerical relay for measuring purpose also. Do we actually sacrifice accuracy or the CTs are designed in such a way that it maintains 0.2/0.1 accuracy level in normal operating zone? Waiting for your answer.
