Thanks!! I didn’t drink the coolaid on the first run from lee with scratch and dent base plate so now it’s the waiting game for stock!!! Midway says expected stock date is tomorrow but I’m not holding my breath lol !! I’ll probably buy from Titan anyway!!
I got in on Lee's seconds offer I can't see any defects on this press maybe just lucky I guess I think Titan had the best deal with Midsouth Shooters Supply a close second and then Midway either way you will be happy when you get it thanks again for watching!
@@lillithanatine1498 I need 380 dies so I’m waiting on the pro in 380 to be in stock probably have a auto drum for sale after I get it though!! But thanks for the heads up I’m supposed to be on a mailing list at midway gonna have to look into that!!
The specs say it can but you'll need gorilla arms to run it in full progressive, and a _really_ solid workbench to mount it solidly enough. It will run just fine if you cycle one shell through each stage by itself but if you try to run it in full progressive it will have a tough time, I've heard the dies like to stick and running the ram gets really tough. From what I've heard from others you're better off using the 6 pack for pistol and small rifle, like 5.56 or 7.62x39 max, the bigger brass like .308 or 30-06 is just too much for it (I'd personally get a single stage turret press for doing large rifle). It's a dream for 9mm, I can personally attest to that, I ran 1000 rounds of 115gr FMJ just last week without a hiccup so I'm absolutely _not_ saying it's a bad or weak press, just that it's abilities are a little overstated by Lee. They should have marketed it as a pistol press IMO, with some limited capacity for small rifle.
On the end of the primer slider there is a metal primer guide that picks up the primer on the down stroke it only takes about 10 seconds to change thanks for watching!
It's been a good press so far..as with any Lee presses it has its moments..if your just starting out I would recommend the Lee 4 hole turret press..the case stays stationary and the turret moves when you engage handle..I started out on that press and still love the way it functions..once you get comfortable with that press then I would say to move up to the Lee Pro 6000..thanks for watching!
Second this! I started out on the breech lock challenger, then the classic turret that I still load revolver cartridges and 223 on. Wish I started with the turret. I have the pro 4000 only for 9mm that I will upgrade to the 6000 as soon as it’s available here in South Africa( hopefully before Christmas) but I will never get rid of my classic turret, it’s to good of a tool
It's called a Lee Precision Universal Decapping Die...its main use is to size and deprime cases usually in station one..but if you loosen the pin nut so it slides up and freely it detects powder in the case..thanks for watching!

@@jeffreynolds335 Me too - I didn't get any email.
Received new press today and there is room to spare I think I’ll order a double alpha powder check
Thank you. That was very helpful. In the interest of "one press to rule them all" can it do 30-06?
I don't see why not I only reload pistol cartridges but I have seen others reloading rifle cartridges thanks for watching!

How do you change the primer feed from small to large on Pro 6000?

Liking the press? I'm seriously considering it as a newbie to reloading.

What is the reference of the Bullet accessories please? Thanks from 🇫🇷
That is the Mini Mr. Bullet Feeder..works well on this press..thanks for watching!
@@reloader523 Thanks 👍🏼
Is there anyway you could run a brass trim station for bottleneck cartridges?
I have a Lyman trim station but I don't reload any rifle cartridges thanks for watching!
Can someone tell me where I can get that powder check that I see in this video.
