We talk about spiritual fitness a lot but i dont think we talk about actual fitness enough. I think most of us will be really unpleasantly surprised how fast and how far we can run. I tried running as a workout last summer and i was mortified of the initial results and im not even overweight.

From what I've read (I live in the US) this is a common robbery technique in Brazil. Two men on a motorcycle approach and the man on the back robs you with a gun. Search at your own digression, but there are many videos online of this type of robbery with many different end-results.

The motorcycle victim said repeatedly he was not a cop because criminals in Brazil will execute the person they're trying to rob if they are a police officer, for two reasons: first, they will prevent the victim to fight back if they have a gun, so the robbers can steal it, and secondly, many Brazilian gangs require the new gang members to murder a cop so they will be accepted into the gang. That's why you see off duty Brazilian cops pulling their guns very quickly if they feel threatened.
So how do you know when to run and when to comply? Couldn't that guy with gun to head have shot him for not complying?
Always remember, if the shooter is right handed run away to the right and then zig a little to the left. Mostly break right. Right hands go easy left but not right. Try the next time you go to the range.

Brazil has a lot of things in common with my country (morocco)...and here one of the things you learn over time..whenever you hear a motocycle sounds it's defense mode..if they're two..that's a 90% chance something's about to happen and you should take action before it's too late

Active Self Protection the prayers from friends and family have been working. Daddy was up most of the day yesterday. Which is a hugh improvement. He is very Depressed but that is understandable and they are telling us normal, he is a fixer.. Not a good sick person. He just wants to go home. For me, it's almost unbearable to see my "Original Hero" like this. They are going to send him to an inpatient Rehab at the VA. He had total paralysis but our "Jane on the spot" nurse Steph, got him help quick. He still has Left side weakness But seems to be getting better, a little everyday. Thanks for the prayers Brother.

Running is not the first thought going through my mind if there's a gun inches from my head. My left arm would have come out, grabbed his wrist, get the gun away from my head, continue to pull him around and put him between me and the other guy. It's a lot less risky than trusting that guy isn't going to squeeze the instant you bolt. Glad this worked out for him though.
That's because you're assuming the guy is after you. But if he's after the motorcycle, he may very well let you go.
