Here are 2 EASY STEPS to potty train a puppy !!
    Potty Training Pad (100pcs) - amzn.to/3fkzSdW
Pad Holder for above pads - amzn.to/2ER3za5
I have a yorkie and I know how exhausting potty training a puppy can be. Espically smaller dogs find it more challenging as they feel their surroundings are so big and can often get confused, so here's what you gotta do.
step 1 - Take them out to their potty area after every meal, as dogs naturally feeling like going potty after their meals and once they potty in that area, show them you're very excited and give them lots of treats.
you see dogs are a creature of habbit, and if you take them after every meal, they will make that place their potty area. Now it make take a week or 2, some dogs takes more time than other but if you're consistent, they are definitely gonna learn.
step 2 - Whenever they potty in the house or an area they're not allowed, let them know they are wrong by gently telling them NO although don't scare them or hit, it would back fire and ruin your the bond with your puppy.
Now here are 5 highly effective tips on getting them to be potty trained
    1. look out for signs when your dog is about to go potty, they always sniff around or the ground or go in circles before going potty so whenever you spot them doing that, take them to the potty area.
    2. You gotta start their potty training from day 1 of getting them home. In case they form a habit of going elsewhere within the house, It can be hard to break that so always start from day 1
    3. you can either take them outdoors or train them to potty in a designated area at home or on a puppy pad, For example : I allow my dog to go in the balcony but if you don't want your floor to get dirty, you can always use a puppy training pad, It's pretty cheap as well.. The only problem with a puppy pad is the they sometimes chew on it or move it around, but that problem can be solved with a pad holder which holds it in one place.
    4. Allow the pee or poop to remain on the area for sometime before cleaning it up, this is cause they usually go potty wherever they get the scent of their litter, so allow that scent to remain there for sometime or if you're using a puppy pad let it be there for a day before you change it.
    and finally
    5. Make it a fun little game for your puppy rather than stressful, this actually applies to any kind of training, If you're teaching your puppy not to bite or basic tricks, give them lots of treats and let it be a fun process for them as well as you.

Great tips! I take my Yorkie out every hour and I no longer have accidents anymore. I take him out very often because he’s young (12 weeks old) and since he’s a small breed I know he can’t hold his bladder long.

My mom got herself a yorkie 2 years ago and never potty trained him 😔
She gave him up for a few weeks for me to get him used to going outside. Once he was trained, he never went back to her.

Video request: ( you don’t have to do it but I would love to hear your experience)
Can you make a vid talking about your first few days getting chewy, how you managed to bond with him and get adjusted to having him in your life. It would really help me, as I am going to get one soon and would like to know what to do and what not to do

I have a 6 month old Yorkie and she was very easy to pad train her, she knew where her pad was not many accidents, now trying to get her to start potty outside. At first she would hold it while outside and when go back inside she run straight to pad and I take her back out she holds it, we do that about 6 straight times until I got tired because if my MS. Someone said to take pad away in house, I did and she still goes to that area to potty, when she goes to area I take her out she uses outside sometimes, but if I don't catch her in time she will run to spot where pad use to be a pee. She won't let me know she has to go and also she can pee 3 times in one hour, is that normal? After potty outside I get relaxed watching her because I heard they can hold it for at least some hrs, but not my Yorkie. Please HELP!!!

But sorry, I don't sell yorkies!
I just have one (and he's my first dog 😊)
In most parts of the world it's costs around $1000-1500, some places higher, some lower. E:g In India we can get it for $500.
      Wish you the best :)

Spade is pooping everywhere and we are getting a playpen for him. Only pads in there till he pees or poo. He doesn’t need to digest. He once ate then he pooped in our house. He poops near doors when we’re not looking. My parents don’t understand that they have to be patient. They yell at me when Tell them. he HATES his pads. he will pee on them but not pooping. Please help. I’ve watched at least 99999 potty training videos but still can’t get him to sometimes pee or poo on it. Winter is coming and pads are the best options.

    • @WoofGang
      @WoofGang  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's gonna take consistent efforts..
Every time he decide to pee or poop where he isn't allowed, you will have to immediately place him on his pads/bathroom ( even better look for signs when he's are about to poop, so you can take him to his pad) Make it clear to him that there is no exception and he will always have to follow the rules.
Even my yorkie didn't like the pad so I instead thaught him to go to the bathroom, but if that isn't an option, then just stick to the pad sooner or later he will learn to follow it if you're consistent :)

@@WoofGang he’s doing good now, he’s pooping on the pad most the time now but still on the floor. Same with the peeing. He poops and pees on the pad at night with my parents. I guess he’s a business dog. He does something good for his treat I guess.
