Here in South Fla. we have a ton of companies that do this work but most all are incompetent and rip people off with a bad product or poor work. I sure wish you guys would considere relocating or opening a a branch company here in S. Fla. Surely you’ll become millionaires within the first two-five years. Great lookin work guys🤙🏼💪🏼
Haha thank you William, if you promise that, we'll leave tomorrow lol For sure we're planning on doing a Everyday Patio Tour and hope you can have your dream patio soon!! Have a good day!
I am a business in South Florida and have Classic Metals as one of my neighbors. They are a distributor for patio building. I asked the owner for a reference installer and he was not willing to do that. He offered for help if we get stuck. I will be giving it a try as the frustration of paying someone that is also trying to figure it out is great. Thanks for your videos. It has given visual insight as to how it should be done. We have experience in putting a conventional wood and tar paper. This will be our first aluminum build.
@@EverydayPatio what about for the beamlift bracket to concrete roof tile. You use the same nivafex or a different one. Thanks for the prompt respond by the way.
Thanks for the question Apex, you’ll need footings when the patio is freestanding or decks like you said, most of the time. It depends a lot on the house and space. Have a great day.
Hey Jeffery, the material is custom made for each home, not a kit. For info on materials please visit our website everydaypatio.com Thanks for the comment!
Can you share some details about the type of surface mount lights that were installed on this project? Curious if there was a j box used and how they were mounted. Thank you!
These were Halo LED 6 inch Outdoor J-box lights. We mostly use 4 inch recessed lights now, easier to install and they do better with the outdoor elements
Hey M, I'm going to attach the current link for the caulking at the bottom. And the brackets OEM made by BeamLyft, this is the raised roof mount bracket they offer. www.homedepot.com/p/Custom-Building-Products-Commercial-165-Delorean-Gray-10-1-oz-Silicone-Caulk-CCSC165/202753935?MERCH=REC-_-PLP_Browse-_-202520295-_-202753935-_-N& Let me know if the link works, Thanks for reaching out and Happy Holidays, Everyday Patio
Hey Albert, we usually drill a 1-inch hole through the bottom of the eaves into the top. Then run 1/2 metal EMT conduit into the back of the hanger or 2 by 6. You can use flex pipe sometimes, but if it's not painted, it can crack after a couple of years from UV exposure. You can see the hole above the porch light. Hope you have a great New Year! AJ
Hello there Rick, thank you for your comment. We used a Roof Mount, Elitewood Insulated Roof. We usually go with a 10lb snow load, you can check where you live and go with those specifications. Hope this helps and have a great day!
You do a great job on these videos. We are planning our backyard which includes a pool remodel and lots of replacement concrete decking. May I ask what is the approximate price of something like this? Our house resembles this one with a tile roof. Thanks, Ken
Hello there Ron, thank you for your comment. We used Insulated Panels for this job made by Four Seasons, Elitewood. Hope this helps and have a great day! Everyday Patio Team
Gran trabajo, felicitaciones. Una pregunta desde mi desconocimiento, Donde se pueden comprar todos estos elementos para poder hacerlo uno mismo? Aquí en la florida hay algún lugar donde comprar estos paneles y las vigas de aluminio? Gracias de antemano
Awesome work!! How about high winds? How does this hold out against hurricane winds that can go upwards of 150mph? Considering the strong brackets and post stands, what upward and sideways wind speeds is this type of patio cover rated for? I’m in South Florida
Hello there William, I'm pretty sure the patios have to go through testing before being build in such high wind area, proper footing and steal framing highly recommend. We usually deal with 110mph to 130mph make sure you can have it engineered for more. Thank you for your comment and hope you have a good day!
There's no way you can anchor the posts onto the concrete patio here in Reno NV. Posts must be set in a concrete footing 3' x 3' x 3' deep per city engineer specs.
Hello there Tyler, thank you for your comment. For pricing please message us on everydaypatio@gmail.com, we'll be happy to assist you. Have a good day!
Hey David, to better explain what I was trying to say, all houses have water get in, when it rains. Eaves being the most common place for water to settle. On a tile roof, water intrusion at the top or middle of the roof tiles will show at the bottom layer of roof tiles. So you need to seal the bottom of the BeamLyft brackets, as if water will get under the tiles and the top of the BeamLyft brackets, as shown in the video, to help prevent excess water damaging the wood the brackets are attached too. Hope this helps better explain how to seal the roof mount brackets, Sincerely, Everyday Patio

What kind of romex being used for this outdoor patio?
We used white romex, depending on the city and water exposure of the cover, you can also use grey wire.
