    good little series. I have a MK1 gti that I race in Lemons and me and my teammates are building a mk2 golf for lemons. The shifter needs a full rebuild so seeing you do it first should prove to be a big help.

      @@MikeTheFixer so I changed the bushings... Any idea why the gear shifter is extremely tight?

    I replaced everything you did in this video. My issue now, is getting into first gear. How do I properly adjust the linkage easily? Thank you for your help and time.

      Been a while but I think the long shaft from the shifter controls how far forward and back for say 1st and second. So that pinch clamp further on the shaft or less might help, or is it a transmission issue? Good luck

      @@MikeTheFixer Ok. I will try. I'm changing out the clutch cable as well. From auto adjust to manual.
