I see the hate Scott gets when it comes to MCC and I couldn't imagine being pulled in so many directions. People don't understand that poor Scott can't please every single person.
I remember when the stans of huge cc in mcc go so far to say harsh things and threat Scott in twitter..I'm amaze at how professional he handles stuff like that but I hope it never happens again
I haven’t watched MCC in ages, but I remember when Ace Race broke (MCC 24? 25?) and Scott said he knew he would get abuse for it (even though nothing that happened was his fault or his decision) and he was right.
Ok since everyone is discussing who else theyd like to see: joel. Joel is a youtube dinosaur so he's gonna have a good story, especially because his wife is also an iconic part of minecraft (you could even do an episode with them together). For me personally, Lizzie was my favorite youtuber as a little girl and as I got older i kind of moved over to joels content. Anyways, skizz and joel could also discuss what new hermithood is like and joel could discuss that other side of mc like scott was
Lizzie is definitely more for kids, and Joel is for young adults to adults. He'll never be invited to TH-cam kids lol
yeah they;re both iconic figures in the mc community- a three parter with them would be nice

Scott: Flower Husbands still exists no matter how much me and jimmy try to end it
Also Scott: Gives Jimmy a poppy to apologise for breaking the only block under him and causing him to be the first to die on the server
He didn't stop at giving Jimmy a poppy either, he even commented in the video that Jimmy is possibly stuck as a flower husband or something like that (since Jimmy was having trouble dropping the poppy or placing it)
If you can't stop it - join them lol
That "because we k ow each other" is exactly why Lizzy's quip of "Hah! You got no friends!" Has stuck with me as a hilarious line in spite of being actually cruel. The humour came from it being between friends who had a long secure friendship.

Philza would be a cool one because of how far out of the hermitsphere he is and he’s not the same style content creator as everyone else so far like all the previous guests have been very TH-cam 1st twitch 2nd
I love how much genuine respect and appreciation Skizz has for Scott. I hope they can team up and make something together someday (either in the Life Series or another SMP). I feel like they would have the best vibes.
Honestly, I think it would be a total funfest if Skizz got onto a MCC, even if non-canon, and be put on Smajors' team and watch the hilarity ensue from there.

As the single person here that wasn't aware of MCC, thanks for explaining it! I've only recently dived into SMPs and I'm enjoying getting to know the Hermits and members of the Life series.

I knew about it, but never really got an explanation of what it was, so I never got into it. So I'm also grateful for the explanation!
I've been a fan of Hermitcraft and the Life series for awhile, and was only vaguely aware of MCC. I had no idea Scott was such a big part of it! I am also someone that really appreciated the explanation!

Fun fact: Scott coded all of MCC himself but he is so good at gaslighting that everybody thinks it was made by "noxcrew." How Iconic, Scott is an inspiration to us all.
He said at the beginning that he was glad he had so many different usernames and channel names and this is clearly why :)

1:15:50 I've always been impressed by how good Scott is at evading damage. He is a good survivor because he's almost impossible to hit. I'm glad to hear he has a lot of fun as an escape artist.
Among Us with the Life Series crew would be like a dream come true! With Impulse, Skizz, Tango, Etho, Bdubs, Pearl and Scar (and once in a while Grian) almost half of the old Among Us crew is already there. Would it be possible to use the time slot when you usually record the Life Series to do something like that? It would be an awesome way to keep the crew and the audience engaged in between the Life seasons. If not every week then maybe every other week?

I found Scott through the Life Series and I couldn't believe I didn't know about this guy before. He's the coolest and sweetest guy! I only got into MCC later on but it's awesome that he was the organizer.
This was me too, I saw him on the Life Series and instaly subed to him. I didn't know he helped create MCC!

Let's be honest, with how many reference Scott himself made, he won't let it go either
This interview was great as Scott was someone they both had experience with but not a super close relationship which I think made Impulse lean on Skizz's quick analysis and ability to break down some of the things the interviewee was saying. But Impulse was equally able to bring up the most relevant points to discuss to move on from topic to topic. You both brought something valuable to the interview in a way that made it a lot more enjoyable.
I continue to be impressed at Skizz and Impulses friendship dynamic. Impulse listens to what Skizz has to say almost as much as any given guest. Skizz seems to thrive on meeting people in a genuine way and is one of the most solid active listeners I've ever seen on youtube. I think it's a testament to how much Impulse has grown over the years and how much he really respects and values Skizz as a friend.

I have a lot of respect for Scott as the organizer of MCC and as a Life Series player. I can't wait to get to know him better in part 2
It's wild how twining the paths get to where we end up - imagining if Scott had gotten the expected A on that geography exam and ended up as a teacher instead. The butterfly effect of changes on the world that failed exam had is cool to consider.

Same, I completely forgot it was Friday and that there was an episode coming out with a guest, and gasped out loud when I saw the thumbnail
Besides it being the end of my week that notification becomes the second best part of the day
I got hooked on impulse during the amoung us days...I watched tango quite a bit but then found i liked impulse too and now skizz. Oh the TH-cam rabbit hole.
yep, the youtube rabbit hole can be absolutely insane - i first watched Gem because one of her videos got recommended to my sister and she sent me the link. after i binged most of Gem's single player stuff i discovered hermitcraft and over time started watching a bunch of hermits. next it was probably either the life series or mcc where i discovered some new people... at some point i also watched a bit of empires but not all of it. I've also started watching pixlriffs survival guide after discovering the hermitcraft recap. and now I'm here and have been watching the podcast regularly for quite a while now xD it's a whole thing and at this point i have WAY too many videos i would like to watch but not nearly enough time for all of them 😅

i found tango because mumbo mentioned the small youtuber that made his iron farm back in this smp he's playing alongside his redstone videos.
Then i found Tango's mods. If it weren't for Tango and Mumbo i probably wouldn't have been watching hermitcraft today.
I've been binging among us streams (with joel,grian,etho,bdubs,pungence,skizz,impulse,tango,ren,scar) the past few weeks,the same streams over and over again,the fact that you've brought it up makes me unbelievably happy,and the fact that you can now play with 15 people makes me even happier (i know ya'll are 19,but not everybody is always gonna be free)

There might be bigger streamers or youtubers in the minecraft universe but he is for sure the center of gravity in there! Everything in the MC univers pivots torwards him and he is the nicest guy ever. We just love him!
Ya I've been watching him since One Life 😮 6 years... I like how he gets along and does content with so many different groups.

I was listening to this on spotify but I really wanted to comment here. Scott is such an interesting person, and I really enjoyed listening to the part where you discuss MCC. I think my favorite thing for MCC is going and finding out all the teams! I love when we get little crossovers (ex. Yellow Yaks in MCC Scuffed... Jimmy and Aimee meshed so well, and I don't believe that they had many interactions before this event) and it makes me so happy! I consume content from all different sides of the minecraft community so MCC is a very great place for me to watch ccs interact! Always love the podcast, and I can't wait for a Scott part 2!
The Imp and skizz podcast is way better than a “regular” podcast. It reminds me of hot ones when it comes to how good the questions are. My attention always seems to be grabbed! Thanks for another cool episode, Skizz and Scott’s!

I’ve never really known to much about Scott so this is the first time hearing most of this stuff particularly what he was going to as a job. Honestly I straight up turned my head when hearing about the 3d modelling animation part because that is exactly what I’m working towards and planning one starting a TH-cam channel. To me it’s so exciting to find someone that had a similar career plan and ending up extremely successful. Wonderful podcast btw.
Watching these when a guest is on, is a great way to learn how to compliment people. Skizz goes beyond a normal compliment and manages to find the core of WHY that part of someone is good.
Ha ha yay! I love how everyone in the community is coming to do the podcast, and you know, people can make second appearances.... 1st appearance is a get to know you, second is just a good time :)

Scott was the person who got me into Minecraft stuff - Life series then Empires then Hermitcraft then you guys' streams and podcast. He has such a calming presence and enjoyable personality. When I turn on a Dangthatsalongname video I know I'm about to have a wonderful time and whenever I tune into one of his streams it's just the best and chillest times ever!
So glad to finally see Scott on this podcast!
The really funny thing was hearing about this scary and all-powerful Scott Major of MCC during the pandemic. Then watching this really lovable and sweet (really good MC player) Scott in Secret Life and not realising that the 2 Scotts were related until this month! 😮😂

So happy to see Scott on for the podcast!! I first learned about him from MCC a long time ago and since then, it's always been a pleasure to see when he's involved with any of the series that I keep up with (from a mix of the Life Series, Empires during the Hermitcraft crossover, and at some point throughout the years, I began watching his escape room series videos, too). Such an incredible human being overall with an awesome personality that consistently elevates the atmosphere of every environment he interacts with. Really glad to be able to learn more about him outside of the video series I typically watch :D
Just went on a six hour binge of all the latest episodes and loved every second of it!

this episode was so great !! I've been a huge minecraft fan since I was pretty young and I always loved Scott's content. I've watched so many different communities within the minecraft community and honestly MCC has always been my favorite part of this community because it brings people together. seeing creators I like from opposite sides of everything just get along so well is awesome. I find the minecraft community is so connected in so many ways now and mcc is a huge reason behind that! seeing Scott mention so many people is lovely, and he really does get along with like everyone. minecraft is my special interest and this episode highlights almost every reason why. im so excited for the 2nd part because this is such a banger !
