Always liked this theory because Kelly makes the goals so visual and feel so attainable but I feel like the key point is you’ll have to generate $100 PROFIT not revenue from those 1000 fans for this to work. The cost per acquisition to get those 1000 fans and the investment to create products will probably throw this theory way off when it comes to your maths? How do you adjust the model when you take into account what it will cost you to acquire and extract that $100 from 1000 people.
I've heard of this theory before and it has always been very attractive to me because it seems very attainable. I am a superfan to other musicians so I know it is possible. Another idea for us musicians is merch, like T-shirts, mugs, caps, etc. If they have good designs and good quality, you can sell for a good price. Thanks for everything you taught me about recording as a musician and now with actually making money. I'll definitely give back to you when I am making that profit.

Passive can be a misleading word - yes. I prefer "automatic" income. But it's true that iif you build your business right much of your income should be passive, i.e. scalable and growing while you work less and less. Thanks for watching!

Should be zero cost to acquire them if you follow my model of content marketing. So it's virtually all profit.
