He’s an ER doctor, I’m sure he’s probably seen most of these injuries irl. (Yeh sure maybe not like the bullet and knife one but definitely the fractured arm and shit).

You literally make opium, heroine, morphine, and many other drugs from a plant. While i doubt there are any plants that can heal whole ass bullet wounds within seconds, im certain there are plants that can heal over time. Its a game tho, no one has time to wait weeks in game to fully heal
Sophisticated Peter Griffin alright so how about picking random plants and mashing them up or whatever the character is doing in the Far Cry series and just injecting it. All the pharmaceutical drugs you’re talking about has tons of science and research put into it. Not what’s going on in this video game lol
@@grigoriyefimovichrasputin7897 Yes but the vast majority of things are specific chemicals draw from plants of various chemicals balanced to counteract each other as the base helping chemical may be lethal normally.
No, a random guy on an island would probably not have the knowledge, tools, or time to make reach meds for care. On top of this most meds have side effects. Those effects may last a while and seriously hurt combat abilities.

When he said he’s seen someone rip out their own tooth, I shuddered. I got my teeth knocked out years ago and it hurt like hell, I cannot imagine how painful ripping it out would be

When I was a kid, I lived in the sticks in Louisiana and one time I got kicked in the mouth. One of my teeth became loose and it hurt like hell. A buddy of mine said he’s help, so he pulled out a pair of pliers and pulled it out. Still one of my best friends.

I’d also like to agree that self operating is seldom a smart idea. in real life people usually survive to reach medical assistance before the injury becomes deadly. In an actual survival situation, we would be more likely to die of thirst or unmedicated disease than our wounds. It looks cool in James Bond and Iron Man though.

Let him react to Yakuza heat actions and cutscene injuries. Stomping, broken back by suplex, getting shot or stabbed, if anyone survivie any of these, what do we do? Next can you get an expert person survivalist or someone to react and review Metal Gear Solid 3 eating animals raw, what not to eat, treating injuries like stitching, bandages, or burning leeches with cigars(who brings cigars in jungles, Snake does)? Don't bring Bear Grylls cause ever since his show's exposure (don't care that it's intentionally staged but still likely some people probably took lessons by running on rocky cliffs or taking a cold bath or swim in an already cold environment) I don't think he's done any of that even though he was in the military.

He also has to error on the cautious side with these advisories. Some people have better clotting and immune defenses than others, something that changes day to day. You wouldn’t want to find out by tearing open an artery or having a filthy wound.
My father (as a fit teenager) had a splinter almost the length of his foot for two days, he recovered easily. After he became diabetic, he couldn’t clot injuries or fight diseases anymore.

This may be one of the first actual experts on this show other than the male marines. Even with blood dragon, he gives real information when he heals. The stuff he says I sometimes think he’s speaking another language or some stuff
Wish he’d noticed it’s a tritip dagger, specially made to cause heavy bleeding and be unstichable, a favorite among assassins and criminals in mid-evil times because it’s so easy and cheap to make and requires almost zero maintenance even by their standards

Jason in Far cry 3 fell from height & then pulled off bullet barrels from forearms using a tree branch. I saw it multiple times when I played it. Anything can take place in a video game.

What my grandparents see when i crack my fingers
Y’all forgot the one where he takes a book of matches, lights them up, and then stuffs the whole thing into an open wound. It was either a book of matches or a bunch of cigarettes. Can’t remember.
Cauterization, basically using heat to cook the surface so it doesnt bleed. This is something doctors DO actually do but as I understand it they basically use the medical equivalent of blowtorches(much smaller and more precise by far) to burn the arteries shut. I think it's kind of like an endgame step as generally the arteries probably wouldn't ever rejoin so it's probably not used much outside of amputations. You CAN cauterize your own bleeding wounds but there are a few problems. First is that humans are completely wired against burning and it is INSANELY painful. You would either have to flash burn it, be unconscious or have someone hold you down. If you flash burn it, you could actually use gunpowder to do it (dual survival, dave did it with a cut in a jungle episode). Otherwise you would need to have a fire going and put a piece of metal in the fire. Second problem is that after you stop bleeding you have a really high chance for really bad infections. Generally speaking if you have a wound bad enough to require cauterizatuon in the wild you will probably die from it. Third problem, cigars/matchs wouldn't burn for long enough.

Seeing all the dislocations reminds me of the time my grandma dislocated her pinky toe. She put it back into place by herself, what a badass. The nail in the finger, reminds me of the time my father put a nail through two of his fingers, he went to the hospital and everything was ok. It's not the best time ever.
