On our way through the city center I will give you insights into the almost 850 years old, fascinating and extremely complex history of Judaism in Vienna. I want to show you small glimpses of this past, and inspire you to take a closer look at this topic after this tour in the future. ✡️

My mother grew up in Leopoldstadt. She and family lived at Shiftamtschtrasse until her escape to Palestina in 1935 when she was 25 y.o. Thanks for your tour; I wish that you would have covered Leopoldstadt even though I already visited there.

Best guided tours in Vienna on youtube, really informative with attention to little details, not the usual touristic fast-food. Don‘t understand why this fabulous content doesn‘t find more attention on youtube. Found you by accident through your walk in München Video and had to search for Alpinefoxes to find your page on youtube. When searching youtube for anything like Vienna, Wien, tour, walk or similar, your videos are never among the suggestions, no matter whether the search is in English or Deutsch, that‘s a real pity.

Thank you so much for this wonderful tour. I just watched from New York City, and I will definitely be on your in-person tour when I visits Vienna. I just want to mention that although I realize that this specific tour was sad in nature, maybe it is a good idea to mention that the story of the Jews in Vienna is also full of life, and joy, and creativity. If you take just the early twentieth century, for example, you had personalities like Freud, Mahler, Schoenberg, Stefan Zweig, and so many others there. Anyway, thank you again, and I will be recommending your tours to friends and family who visit.
