- How to recreate the Sun dynamics in a lab? This team of scientists did it, with a machine that replicates the space weather, with its magnetic fields generating from the turbulent flows of plasma. Subscribe to Earth Science for more fascinating science videos - bit.ly/Subscrib...
Horizon: Solar Storms - The Threat To Planet Earth
According to scientists, activity on the surface of our Sun is ramping up. This activity increases the risk of massive storms of plasma. And what's more, these storms will continue to happen for a number of years. But what are solar storms, what will they mean for us and our planet - and what can we do to lessen their impact?

I'm disappointed how short these are. Feels almost like I wasted time
Don't watch this, just another to short non explaning video of 2.27
Where can I find the rest of the video? Looks interesting!
TheAtb85 no where, this is the documentary in full
Hi there! You can find more info in the description and here: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01d99vb
They say this like it’s a diy
jfc did you see that place? looks like they have a budget if about £3.50, lol. The lid was being lifted by an old forklift truck, and the propellers were being driven by what looks like the rusty old cam belt system from a scrap engine. A metal ball with a couple of propellers inside driven by rusty scrap engine parts and all housed in a shed in the middle of nowhere. Not exactly NASA or CERN is it? I applaud their efforts but it doesn’t look like they are working with much.
Your not wrong but I want to see you make one then get back to me
Quite literally, what’s the POINT of this video
