Fiesta ST USB Port Install

Decided to upgrade my cigarette lighting to a 2 way LED USB port. I don't smoke and only ever put an adapter in the cigarette lighter so thought it was time to upgrade!
Disconnect your battery otherwise you'll end up blowing the fuse!
Hope this helps anyone thats attempting to try it.

Genius little vid mate. Just bought an 06 plate 1.25, and the cig lighter jumps up n down when changing gear 😅. You just showed me the replacement method! Well done and thanks 👍.

Please do a video on removing round air vents in a ghia 1.6 2005 model please ...because I have tried removing them but they look different from all the other models or maybe it's just me

When I bought my fiesta the previous owner installed a USB charger however it was on the other side of the centre console. It's great but I never really use it 😂. Mainly use the cigarette lighter for my sat nav plug however I'm sure it has a USB plug

YEah I only ever use mine to charge my phone, im very tempted to wire in a wireless phone charger and mount it to my stand as I've got the new iPhone which can wirelessly charge!

You had any issues I got my daughter a mk7 as you said it won’t drain I just bridged mine to the cigarette lighter so long as nothing left plugged in to it when not in use hope it won’t drain,I have the 15 plate ficus and it goes off after 15 min of the car being locked on that why Ford did not do same for them all! So just done her fiesta 08 so here’s hoping 🙂

How make this AUX port ? I see a lot of fiesta without this and a lot of with this port next to gear stick :>

Damian Skowron the AUX port next to the gear stick is standard on this fiesta. Also If you have an after market radio head unit they’d probably have an AUX built it so you wouldn’t need to instalL one there

i did my ford aux today its easy you can order a kit of ebay with the keys to open the system and fit a adapter on the back of the system

Coatesy63 what year is the car? Because the 6006 cd in slight older ones don’t come with an aux at all, try the tecknet fm transmitter, that way you get Bluetooth and can charge your phone at the same time :) cost me £13

Conor Murphy my girlfriend uses them Bluetooth FM transmitter and they’re a good/cheap answer to getting Bluetooth in a car.

It’s not a cigarette lighter, it’s a charge port
Also why did you cut the plug off they’re both the same spade connectors

DanRsturboS1 mine was a cigarette lighter, dunno if the other models (Zetec, Finesse, ZS) had one or not. Also I cut the connector off as it wouldn’t fit the new USB port, the spades where facing parallel and the original cigarette lighter both spaces face opposite directions
