Did you fix this problem? As my revs are sticking only sometimes bad this morning she started few times harder to sounds like bit too much air or something like that.

defo shouldnt be impacting against the gear box either. should have took that nut off while the car was on the ground then it would be against the weight of the car not gearbox

I changed my pcv hose and now instead of the revs holding at 2k rpm when I dip the clutch, now the revs go too low and it stalls. Any advice?

I currently drive a 2005 fiesta mk6 three door with the 1.6 litre engine ( pre facelift) that has 306,000 kms on it and I love it! It’s a great little car! Today I was offered a 2008 fiesta st (XR4 in the Aussie market) with only 95,000kms on it and I am I seriously considering buying the car( to drive on the weekends). They are pretty rare here with only 2000 or so for the aussie market. I was offered it for a very good price and I don’t know if I should go for it. What does everyone think? Hi Jay. Can you tell me the part number of that new valve you used in combination with the new PCV hose? Did you need to a replace new gasket/seal between the intake manifold and block?

I just looked at mine it looks alot harder due to having a cosworth inlet plenum.

8:50 you shouldn’t actually be revving in reverse until you find the bite that’s what I do never stalled in reverse but my partner does what most people do and revs first before the bite and he’s stalled my car a lot of times
