Well done. Just a small tip for anyone using rattle cans. Don't use a stop start action, you want the paint to lay as flat as possible, a continuous spray yields best results. Control the coverage by the speed of hand/arm movement. Always decrease before paint- brake cleaner is fine
Just keep coating the plastic in vegetable glycerin when you wash it and after a wash polish it with some more, like a a total refurb of plastic trim, also a nice tyre polish that doesn attract or hold dirt
hi dude looks good, how many cans did you use of paint and how much would you say i would need to do the front and rear valacne and grills aswell as these?
Hey man followed your tint guide and did my MK6 recently, quick question I've got the fog lights in the front bumper but I've only got that switch panel that you held up to the camera I can't see how to turn them on anywhere, (not had car long) will I need to upgrade the light switch panel or is there a way to get them working with the original panel?
Really enjoyed this video 👍. Did you use plastic primer filler? Would of helped I believe in filling up the textured plastic effect. Need to get into spraying and getting rid of the unpainted plastic bits on my zetec s. Can I ask where you got your number plate holders from? Look discreet. I bought a descreet holder but its just worrying me if its clipped in securely.
Hi mate, I diddnt use a filler primer which maybe i should have but oh well 😂 My number plate surrounds were on the car when I got it mate, just wanted them looking a little neater so gave them a respray. Cheers for the comment bro 👍
I found a company that does all led lights. It's called autobeam it's on the Internet. Just sprayed my front grills come up OK did not use primer though. I think you can get a plastic primer as well. It's made a difference. If you got any more spraying to do go to pound shop they do rolls of brown paper and also found trigger spray that goes on top of cans. Hope this helps
@@MindbodyMedic lasts much much longer mate, oil will probs last maybe a month or 2 max at a guess. With paint as long as it's been done correctly then can last ages
Anything that’s a standard ford part can go on the car without declaring it but anything 3rd party for the car has to be declared eg window tints, wind reflectors etc
Nice video, really clear and well explained 👍👍. 1 question though, where did u get your interior door handles from? The carbon fibre look is very nice.
I carbon wrapped them myself, dont look too shabby. Thanks alot man, really appreciate your comment. Got another vid up in couple of days which is much more interesting lol 😂
@ Jmncarter did you fit your front spliter (if that's what its called) yourself or did you go to a garage to get it done? Ps I just realised your the guy I was asking R23 OWL about the led lights. Could I have an email or something so I can get more information on it please as I don't have insta or fb.
were you using a plastic bumper/trim paint or regular gloss? Also in halfords they sell a paint can trigger which I use, helps get a better finish and your hand won't hurt pressing a button all the time.
Hi mate, no I was just using the standard gloss black paint. Seems to have come out alright but was thinking of getting one of those trigger adapter things but never did in the end. Hows your fez mate??
@@Jmncarter Still going strong @ 129,000 miles. Gearbox has started leaking again from the transmission oil seal. Bought a cheap one and it hasn't lasted that long, might have to do it again with an OEM seal. Seems to be a common problem though.

Cheers bro means alot, they do look sick. Hope ya like it 😂👌🔥
The standard wheels in black look good tbf

What sand paper did you use for the fog light?
Hi mate, where did you find the fog light connections?
how's the paint holding up? thinking of doing the same
What do you call that plastic strip on the sides of the car?
Cheers again mate, loving these vids 🤛
Hi i know its an old video but did you paint the wheels in black yourself ? what paint did you use? i think it would look nice on my silver fiesta :D

did you seal the paint with clear coat? hows it holding up?
Yes mate used clear laquer, still looks good now
@@Jmncarter cheers, was considering applying baby oil to freshen them up but painting is probably better

@16:49 do you know what the circular light is between the temperature and fuel gauge top center?
I think it's the alarm or warning of something important. Not entirely sure but I'm sure it flashes when the alarm is active
@@Jmncarter cheers dude! my mk6 wont start so just trying to narrow possibilities.
It's the immobiliser
*I think
Did you paint the wheels as well?
Looking good though, very good
Hello sorry do you have a number of the New switch(référence) ??
Do you still do the LED conversions?? Can’t seem to access the Instagram page...I know it’s quite a while ago
Painting my 1.25 Zetec, all grills and fogs tonic blue...Why are all ST's in black....Need a bit of flare
how many cans of paint did it use mate?
Can't you just take them out before spraying them instead of covering half the car? :/
Are they glued on the doors?
nice look
where did you get the air vents from they're insane
They’re Audi TT vents
@@darkfiestazs1731 yeah I know thanks
What Bolts do you use please for your fog lights??
I got 2and hand fog lights from Ebay they didn't come with any screws or bolts lol
Just a nut and bolt on each screw hole I believe it was 👌
Nice job! From where did you get those airvent rings?
Cheers man. There from an audi TT. They require a bit of trimming to fit 👍
How did you paint the front grills mate, was that on or off the car?
When you changed your exaust and wheels did you have to declare them to the insurance company
Yes buddy. Wheels are abit of a grey area as they are standard fiesta wheels for the ST but obvs not on my car so I declared them to be on safe side.
Anything that’s a standard ford part can go on the car without declaring it but anything 3rd party for the car has to be declared eg window tints, wind reflectors etc
Nice video! Where did you get that front splitter from?
Cheers man, appreciate that. It was just a cheap one off Ebay mate, think it looks alright just a cheap little ebay buy 😂😂
Hey mate. Quick question.... Did you use plastic primer or just general primer? Is there different types of primer?
Just general primer mate
For plastic u must use plastic primer or it ll peels off
but when u use bumper paint primer are incl.
Did you paint the front grills too?
They had been sprayed a little while before this video so there was no need to re spray them
Jmncarter yeah I mean did you spray them though? I’m gonna spray mine black soon but can’t get the bottom grill surround off (Mk6 ST)
@@jamie123b yeah I did spray them bud. I'm sure there just held in with clips mate

Not really bro sorry
Can u take the trim off
Think you can but clips may snap or break and then will need to be glued back on 🤔 just wanted the easy way of doing it lol
Quality video mate
Cheers buddy, got a couple more lined up to 😏
This is not a fiesta mk6. I look at YT and many people don't know what model they have :)
Just wondering for my own sake. Did you inform your insurance provider of the painted bits? Or would they not care?
Naa buddy, just gloss black bits instead of grey. I think it's fine mate
good video mate! just sent you an insta message :)
Cheers pal 👍
