Hey Paul, I have a baby feeder Blue Claw Crayfish that I rescued, and I am getting mixed messages as to how big it will get. Some say it will be smaller than a red claw, and some say it will be around 15 cm long. What is your personal thoughts on how big they will get. Also it is in a 36cm/30 litre tank so I am not sure if it is big enough. Thanks
The common crays called “ blue claws” are usually cherax destructor and max out 15-20cm Redclaws can grow to over 30cm. so saying that it will stay smaller than a Redclaw and only growing to 15/20 cm they are both correct.
