Love deep lakes like crown, think they put a lot of people off and pose a good challenge. I reckon the fish was 23lb 8oz. Another great blog from spoons.

I've fished a lake that's over 25ft deep for 2 or 3 years now. It's so hard to fish if they don't show. Even at bank side it drops to 6ft off the side. I couldn't even imagine going deeper

Excellent vid mate gonna go 25lb 6. Just started using zigs both fixed and adjustable. So far had good success. This has helped a lot.

Hey how's it going? Didn't see you use distance sticks , when you're casting are you guessing the shoeing fish or would you do a few casts and clip up before setting traps?
When fishing with zigs I’m less bothered by the “spot” as such. Fish are cruising around in the upper layers which is all the same essentially. If I’m seeing fish in a certain area then that’s where I’ll try to present a bait
