- Today we replaced a failing O2 sensor in a 2007 Mitsubishi Endeavor. The code was P0137 which is a fault at Bank 1 Sensor 2. On this vehicle Bank 1 is the Firewall side manifold and Sensor 2 is the downstream Sensor. We found a good factory style replacement part Denso 234-4655. Follow along as this is changed out. It made our Check engine light go out after about 10 minutes of driving. Hopefully these steps can help you as well.
Buen día tendras el número de parte del sensor #1 banco #1 que sea de la marca denso mismo vehículo
Lo tengo
I got the P0171 code
Bank 1 up srteam.
So is that front or rear?
Thank you
Amigo soluvionasyes el problema????
Nice video. I have a 2011 Lancer SE that needs the rear 02 sensor. How do I know if I need a California or Non California emissions sensor, is there a visual clue? From what I've read the Cali and Non Cali sensors are different and have different plugs. Thanks
When I am not sure I usually do a vin lookup online to see if it tells me or contact the dealer with vin and they can usually answer . I don’t believe this vehicle had different options. I actually haven’t ever worked on one that had different 02 sensors for California just different catalytic converters or exhaust system . I’m sure it exists just haven’t ran into it yet
@@JustFixinGarage ok thanks for the reply
is the catalytic converter welded in?
I believe the catalytic converter on this is its own piece that bolts between the manifold and rest of exhaust. A factory replacement would likely have flanges on both ends for install.
That two oxygen sensor are the same, right?
Oh, and what size of tool do I need to remove the se sor?
They usually (almost always ) are different for upstream and downstream . I suggest an oxygen sensor wrench if you can rent one for your local auto parts store . The actual size is usually 22mm or 7/8 .
Whaaaaaaat!!!??? I can't hear you! Can I hear you now? Nope.
I’ve since gotten better an equalizing the Audio a bit (kinda)
So much for 10 minute job
Hey Bob! run into a little problem getting the old one out?
