I do the same thing with cleaning my dishes before putting in dishwasher. As you get older you will get to the point that you won't feel you have to explain to people why you do things the way you do them. You are a great wife and mother!

Hi Becky, I do my dishes the exact same way you do yours. You're right. Just the thought of food being washed with the dishes is not clean. ❤! I had to laugh when you found the duck😂. It's amazing the random things we find with having kids (in my case, raising 3 grandsons) 😂! I agree with you about filthy dishwashers. I just hand wash everything because I don't want to have to clean a dishwasher. I have enough cleaning already 😅

hey becky i really wanna be prepared and i wanna know how often do you wash the microfiber cloths that you use everyday while cleaning. do you hand wash them or wash them in the washing machine? plz tell me
I have many and throw them in a basket in the laundry room throughout the week and wash all of them at the same time about once a week. Microfiber should never be washed with anything else 🤗

Thanks for the code! I will have to try these with my almost 4 month old. I am TIRED 😅 and hoping he sleeps through the night soon. My 13 and 6 year old are wonderful little helpers but at night I'm on my own since I hate pumping and my husband doesn't have the right..equipment to feed him. I'm constantly torn between loving getting up with him and having him all to myself when he's so little and omg PLEASE sleep lol. He's my last baby so I know I won't be doing this again and I want to cherish all of it.
ALSO, for spices most last for 4 years or so if stored properly. There is a difference between "sell by". and "best by". I hardly check "expiration" on my seasonings and herbs because I am careful with storage. If the flavor and consistency is still good its not like you can get sick. With prices of things now I am even more watchful of how I store things to maximize the life of it. Just something to consider when you go through your spices next time. Thanks for the motivation!

No!! Look into weighted sleep sacks before you use!! So dangerous and not great to put weight on baby while they are growing and developing. Not the same as when adults use weighted blankets. 😢 They need freedom of movement. Have you looked into the unswaddling movement? The startle reflex helps babies brains grow and the more the are allowed to startle freely, the faster they outgrow. My baby (5th) is not swaddled and sleeps amazing! I watch him startle, and then go right back to sleep. He co-sleeps so he shouldn’t be swaddled anyways. But please look into it more before using! I found you right before I had my 4th, first home birth and I was like yes I have to watch cuz she had a Homebirth too! 😅
Hey Becky. Wow what a motivating video! I clean my dishwasher screen pretty regularly. And I as well rinse or wash off my dishes. My stove is a hot mess which I got to tackle. I need to figure out if my door pops off to make it easier. My plates a bit full with elderly parents we take care of and my husband is going through dialysis to give his kidneys a chance to heal. Our prayers are that it is temporary. Then he has to have a hip replacement here shortly and my knee later down the road. I am doing a lot of things he can’t plus a bunch of other stuff and it’s a bit overwhelming at times but these videos help so much to encourage me to do what I can🌻🌻🌻❤️❤️❤️🌻🌻🌻
I would either try a homemade mixture of 4 parts baking soda to 1 part water to clean your oven or else half-fill an oven safe bowl with water and half a cup of vinegar and then begin the steam cleaning process (self cleaning) for 20 to 60 minutes and then turn off the oven (this would be a similar process to using this method to clean the inside of your microwave). If you don't have a steam cleaner, turn your oven on to 450 degrees and then place the water | vinegar mixture inside for 30 to 60 minutes and then turn the oven off and allow it to cool before going inside to wipe off any condensation, grease, and debris with a paper towel or sponge.

My mom lives in Wisconsin, and my dad is moving to Idaho, where my sister and one of my brothers live. My other brother is in Colorado. So, I'm here in North Carolina by myself, and I live in a motel. I've always wanted to decorate for Christmas.

I always double bag the trashcan so if anything leaks it’s leaking into another garbage bag and take the oven door off with the 2 metal clips. It’s 1000 times easier.

I love watching your videos glad to see you’re better. I like to go through my pantry 2-3 months sometimes earlier if it’s packed with stufff I’m not using. As i have ebt and just buy a lot. And right now I dont cook or bake often how I used to until I get my own apartment with my kids
I try and go through my pantry every three months. Things expire to quickly. I found relish in my frig last night, it expired a year ago.

Some tips I’ve gotten from my mother in law when cleaning the oven. When using easyoff oven spray, she would preheat the oven and then turn it off so the oven is warm. Then spraying it down with oven cleaner. Letting it sit for an hour , the longer the better. Then using a metal sponge & elbow grease to scrub it down.
She cleans her oven twice a month so overtime tough stains will come off the more it gets cleaned
I am not doing well! Not looking forward to the holidays. We lost my uncle a week ago Friday. It has been a rough few weeks.

I shop my pantry first when grocery shopping and keep it pretty depleted. I tend toward minimalism with food and only buy what we use that week with a few extra condiments on hand.

Totally with you on the cleaning the dishes before the dishwasher. I don’t necessarily suds and rinse them but there is absolutely no food residue on any dish 🤮
I think dry expired food is safe to eat, if you plan on eating it, but usually its still there because you don't plan on eating it.

The easiest way to clean your oven racks is to soak them in the sink with napisan oxiaction with hot water. The stuff just slides off with very minimal scrubbing. I do the same for my bbq trivets and works great.

Hi there! This was a great motivating video! I do my dishes similar too…I just don’t use soap, just rinse all the food off because placing in the dishwasher.
I wish you could've donated that mixer to me. I like to try to fix things to see if I can do it, but I can imagine I can find a broken one somewhere lol
I always look forward to your weekly videos. I also do the same with my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and have never had to clean my dishwasher and I am 77 years old. I agree it is also gross to put your dishes in the dishwasher
