you have to wait and see if the white arrow at the TOP of the gadget, it tells you if youre aiming at a penetrable surface or not, if the second arrow doesnt show. then the gadget cannot burrow through the surface

I know, I’ve just done that can so many times I figured it should work, then checking where the arrow was I had to go halfway down the wall for some reason 😂
