I enjoyed watching your doll shopping trip. As a life long collector of dolls I always gravitate towards the doll section whenever I shop. I'm 54 years old with no children but spent my whole life shopping for dolls. No shame in it for me🙂
@@Kenton-Habiba I love so many different types of dolls. I like the reborn lifelike baby dolls, I like Our Generation, American Girls, Enchantimals. I love old fashioned dolls. I go through different phases. Oddly enough I'm not too big of a Barbie fan but I liked collecting the little Kelly dolls. I also love dolls of movie characters.
Why do I feel like the Rainbow High and Shadow High dolls are ONLY for collectors. To play with them would mean risking depletion in their already super expensive value and it cause general wear and tear on their joints and their clothes. I would be afraid to let even slightly sullied hands poke the doll. Kids rarely wash their hands as it is.
I see what you mean. My husband doesn't want me to open the box but I think life is short and we should enjoy our things. I plan to open her this weekend (- :
I enjoyed your doll shopping, l missed out on having dolls as a child because I was born into a very large polygamous home and my parents couldn’t afford to buy us dolls😌, now I enjoy spoiling my daughter and niece with lots of dolls. You can check out sweet Lola dolls created by my Nigerian friend based in Houston Texas.
My Granddaughter was into the Dolls with Baby bottles and Diaper Bag and Baby Clothed My Friend brought her the Dolls Stroller! I never like Dolls to play with I liked Paper Dolls because I could Draw and Make her Clothes and Color them Then I would cut them out ! never saw The Paper Doll Kit with my Daughter! Speaking on Grand Children's let the oldest boy have one. I love Teddy Bears on my bed. That is so nice your Husband excepts you for who you are Most men try to change their wives!
Thank you for sharing! Yes I too used to draw paper dolls and cut out clothes for them back in Nigeria. The clothes would have little tabs that we would fold over the paper doll. You just took me back !
I don't care too much for modern dolls. I have a few very old dolls that I found years ago in vintage stores in their original clothing. In the 1970s there were some Barbiesque dolls made in England and some were sold in Jamaica and were called Randy dolls."
