Great video. Can't wait to lookup and hear your thoughts behind LOVE GUN being your number one. LOVE GUN to me, is the most fun studio album. I would rank the 2nd Big 3 (if that makes sense) in an order best to least, RRO / LG / DESTROYER. DESTROYER for me personally is pretty low, as I just didn't like the production. I feel what Bob Ezrin can do for Alice, doesn't work with KISS. Always been a much more Eddie Kramer guy (IMHO). Loved hearing your take. Great list so far. Have a good weekend.
Thanks brother! I know you're a Gene guy and I'm sorry I rank Gene's solo at #3 behind Paul and Ace but Gene's has some good songs on it too. Honestly, I put this in my solo album video, I do like even 'When I wish Upon a Star' on his solo but lot's of people don't like it, I DO! Destroyer, as I shared used to be like my favorite KISS album with Ace Solo. I have heard them so much that certainly have fallen on my list. RRO is a very good album and I wonder if I should have put it in my top ten. I think RRO for me just has lots of chick stuff and partying etc. I can't get too on board with it. I do like Eddie Kramer's work with KISS and Ace, RRO is a very good album. In retrospect, I could easily put RRO right under Destroyer and make another tie with another album. Honestly, I didn't have RRO when I was younger so maybe I just never attached to it so much.
