I machined that part for symmetry. The front has to be surfaced if I want to grab it there with the chuck to machine the opposite side of the housing. I do not need to machine that part anymore for the t51r unless I’m machining for a new wheel and want to grab it there. Now I don’t machine it there anymore. I machine the sleeve after the inlet is in, then I machine the back side for a larger wheel then flip the housing around and machine the front side

I’m not sure, I have been thinking of picking up a mill to make the job faster. Currently it’s taking me too long to do this. It takes me about 6-8 hrs. I’m trying to figure out how to make it faster. I just wanted to do it a few times to get some experience in.
