    1:52 Since Rhein Ruhr Osten is already linked up with Ruhr Sieg Nord via Hagen Hbf, having Hauptstrecke Rhein Ruhr get extended to Wuppertal Hbf would mean all 3 routes would be linked with each other! Damn talk about a HUGE missed opportunity!

    The review we’ve all been waiting for 😊. Honestly I would only get the BR 101 at full price if the cab car would be included. The fact that DTG charges 18€ for the BR 101 is just a joke 😂. But other than that, this route is definitely one of the better routes in TSW . And full of nostalgia 😊

      And about the München-Garmisch route: I once wrote a letter to DTG’s headquarters in Chatham. One of the suggestions in my letter was this exact route for TSW3. And believe it or not, they actually wrote back. It said that they will review the ideas.That letter was from Matt Peddlesden himself. So who knows, maybe will get München to Garmisch in the Future 😁😁

      Fingers crossed it is made. I reckon it should include, at the very least, the BR423 and BR426 again (along with other trains layered in, like the Talent 2).

    Pretty good. When I first got this route, I was a newbie to tsw and had no issue with the stations but playing more, I realized there can be more added to this to make the experience feel complete. I've seen suggestions to extend this route and remake the timetable to include other German units.
    The 422 could definitely use some love in terms of sounds and physics as well as the 425 to make it more like the Bremen Oldenburg variant. It could also give dtg the opportunity to upgrade it to tsw3 standards.

      I remember the Bremen 425 looking a little better than this HRR version.

      @@DC4260Productions yes. But the physics on it is much more accurate to the 425. The 425 is similar to the 423 but with much weaker brakes from what I've gathered

    The route is not bad all things considered, but the lack of NPCs like on Northern Transpennine does let it down. I really got this route for the 101, which is one of my all time favourite German electric locomotives, even without the cabcar (come on DTG)

    This is one of my favourite parts of the railway to visit IRL, and like with so much on TSW, the route is a missed opportunity. It's one of the busiest and most important parts of the German rail network but it should be extended to Dortmund, Oberhausen and Hattingen. At the very least it needs a timetable review to add in the ICEs and other new rolling stock that have come out since its release. It's never going to be much of a freight route - most freight runs on a dedicated trunk route that runs paralell - but it could be a rich and varied passenger route like London to Brighton

    Do a hard-hitting review on the Glossop Line when it comes out.

      I intend to make a review on that add-on, but not immediately after its release.

    Imo the route is let down by the complete lack of ICE layers. Also, the 422 layers into other routes, but not this one, it's only the RRO one. The 101 does layer into other routes, but HMA is still missing so you can't get the 101 to it's top speed outside of very few services which makes it feel like a caged animal still. The route just suffers overproportionally from DTG not completing the job.

    Its diffrent bc the br 143/112/155 all have it on the side , opposed to a fully detailed interior like the 401

    I don't think this route is worth full price. The route is just way to short and there is no service variation on this line. I bought this route during the tsw2020 era and it's a route I regret purchasing
    The scenery at Essen is a joke because the Essen skyline is missing. It feels like this route was rushed in certain areas. If the route was extended, then it would be better but as it is, it's a route I can't recommend for $30. The 425 is a good train but the services are short for my liking. A longer route would be good to stretch the 425's legs
    I do enjoy your reviews and I hope you keep them coming. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the Bakerloo line for instance

    • @PROTSW4
      @PROTSW4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I got it at a 60% discount, and I agree with your thoughts and the 425 run times, because hour long journeys are always welcome, but the 425 has services that don't even take an hour to complete.
      And yes, it is a pretty damn short route.

    • @DC4260Productions
      @DC4260Productions  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, I think the biggest issue with HRR is that it's just too short. As for a possible Bakerloo Line review, that's still just a possibility for the time being.

      Something I forgot to mention is that the BR425 layers onto Munich - Augsburg, so there's at least one opportunity to run the BR425 on a longer service, but HMA is a sub-par route (if ever there was one).

      @@DC4260Productions Whist true. The DB BR 425 is a regional express train that doesn't run on the route in real life and HMA is very subpar to be honest
