I always wondered why I adore this scene when its a little akward but I know now, I love how we hear more about Luke and Rory's realtionship and how Lorelai realises she shouldnt write her letter about Luke as her friend but as a dad. Honestly one of my favorite scenes her, Luke's adores Rory. Also why are these two familes famous for their 'hey, hi, hi, hi there' that lasts like way longer than it should?
Luke when speaking to Lorelai really ever calls her by her name it is hey hi I think in the 7 seasons it is around 8 times a few extra times when she walking away and he calls her he will say Lorelai. In AYITL about 5 times .
Definitely one of the best scenes os the season!! This show how much Luke's always been there for Rory no matter what and Lorelai's face realizing Luke's the real dad to her daughter, the man she's always been looking for... This scene is brilliant: cute, sweet and heartbreaking all at once ❤❤❤
This whole "Hi" thing just reminds of when Jess and Rory started dating and Luke was something like "I'm getting all over the Hi thing" and he started saying hi like a parrot 🤣🤣🤣
Not really like April’s plot twist but this scene is one of my favorite ones!! Both April and Rory saying Luke’s the best dad and the way Lorelai looks at him realizing that she made a huge mistake not marrying him… he is what she always wanted a guy who loved her more than anyone else and who loves Rory even more, the best dad she could’ve ask for for her daughter and now watching him being the dad to the daughter of another woman must be hurtful…. Anyway I love the scene bc we get to see how Rory really loved him as a dad since he has always been there for her no matter what ❤
I will never understand why ASP ruined them, all three. Luke and Lorelai deserved soo much better. So did Rory. Did no one have the guts to tell the Sherman-Palladinos that what they had planned for the revival was nonesense? It's not only that the revival has turned out horrible, but also the whole vibe when re-watching the og show has totally shifted for me.
I think the look Lorelai gave him was more about her realizing what she could write now. How not only is he a good person, but he has been her daughter's Father Figure for most of her life.
Lauren acting in the scene is awesome bc without saying a word she said everything on th way she looks at him 🥺💔❤️❤️❤️

This scene would never work with Chris.

At that moment the Letter began to write itself.
Ugh I love that Lorelai remembers how angelic Luke is in this scene 💘

I remember always liking this scene despite how awkward it is because of Luke talking about his gifts for Rory over the years. I love the trio's bond.
Lorelai's smile at Luke at 3:20 makes me squeal from the cuteness
and 3:34!
same smile she gives him when she proposes
also 3:44
And Luke acknowledges it they both talk with their eyes and head tilts
Luke was really important in Rory's life. Lorelai just thinking: how i'm not with this guy? He is amazing, so weird, but also, so kind😍
Luke truly did pamper Rory. Oh my
Ok
so what it just proves how much Luke loves Rory as his own daughter.
One of my favorite scenes
3:20 she’s so in love it hurts
Should have not dumped him, fucked her ex and issued ultimatums

April is the sister Rory never knew that she wanted.

And at the end both Rory and Lorelai wondering why Luke is not in their lives anymore... 🥺
It cracks me up when April says that Luke was always a good gift giver. And Luke's corrects her.
He was so good to Rory
yeah....father figure
The was lorelai looks at luke in this scene is how she always has especially in their final kiss in s7
Thank you so much for the new clips!!!
Situación incomoda, pero lorelai va teniendo ideas para redactar la carta,al verlos interactuar.

"the man I want to want" look of Lorelai 3:47 😍
Wow this season has tons of new locations
Omg...April is such a pretentious kid, I never noticed 😂
I always thought that she was extremely annoying! 😫

Although Rory is called Lorelai, but Rory is her nickname and she is identified more like that.
Does anyone else hear a fart noise at 2:42😂
