When Onesama mentioned that there aren't many people who would like to be Geisha anymore, just thought how unfortunate that I wasn't born in Japan. I would be by her doorstep asking to be taken in 🤭 Can't help but thinking how incredible it was when Geisha used to walk the streets of Kyoto and was a common sight.
It's such a stark contrast seeing a breakdancer playing "Mama said Knock you Out" to then see the Geisha performance with the historical Japanese instruments on the same stage.

light purple kimono (yukata?) goes very well with copper flowered obi. Geysha's attire is very cute and stylish. Japanese people have a very good taste in patterns and color combinations! So many ventures visited in one day! Amazing stamina!

I like all clothes from everywhere, from Africa to birizle, to Russia and beyond!! The thing you called a 'diper' is an obi tide in a fancy knot. Do you have fancy ways for hanbok? What to you call traditional Korean shoes? I'm actually really interested in Korean culture as well. I'd love to know more about your culture if you want to share!! Qujanaq!!! 相撲中継見てると芸妓さんがいらっしゃる地域だと中日とか千秋楽等にこられることがあります
とても華やかです
昔は九州場所の時に博多の芸妓さんが横一列にずらりと座っていて、NHKの相撲中継時に映像で紹介されたりしてましたね。
