I've used Chapman sets for years and like them a lot. But the Brownells large set is the best to be had, JMO. As far as a set with a Torque wrench, love my Borka set best of all that I purchased from X-Ring here on TH-cam.
I have a couple of them set. I have the space saver set and the Big Hex/torx set. Really like them both. Space save comes in handy to have in back of car when in a pinch it comes in handy. I wish the handle was a little bit bigger and that the magnet that holds the bit was a bit stronger. Wheeler makes some great tools. My Fat Wrench is always on my bench and one of the most used tools on my gun bench.
Regarding the idea for a hole through the handle to be able to increase torque, I have a 'screwdriver' in a mechanics set for use with 1/4" drive sockets, screwdriver head and sockets, that also has a 1/4" drive socket in the end of the handle so that a 1/4" drive ratchet can be used to increase torque. It obviously has the advantage over a 'bar' of being a ratchet so a constant downward pressure can be kept on the screw. The tool kit it's from is a Halfords own brand in the UK. I don't know if that chain is known in the US.
These are nice, and I've gotten some use out of my Wheeler kit, but as another commenter mentioned, I have found the metal in these bits to be soft in some cases and have actually bent some in routine (not heavy) use, particularly the flat blades.
Tried a number of T15 torx bits trying to find something that didn't twist off, incl Wheeler, wound up using Bosch lately, and they seem to be standing up. Far better than the cheap POS leupold type wrenches, some of the other "big name" torx stuff that's around too, that you need a mitfull of per screw. Other than that, I use the Bonanza/Forster flat blades and Chapman kits for all but torx stuff, haven't got around to trying Chapman torx stuff yet.
Great vidoe, but not sure if you may have chance to find out for chassis like MDT, the front action screw normally is right in front of the barricade stop, not much clearance left for such a big torque screendriver or fix torque piece to be inserted properly. Does wheeler have anything can extend the torque from the FAT wrench to the action screw?
Yes, they include an extension. I use an extension with my other torque kit all the time and I don’t even think twice about it although I know some people feel it can make a difference. But I know numerous torque kit companies that include extensions for just such a purpose.
@@FClassJohn Great. because with limited review/video resources avaible online I can't figure out how the extension included in the big kit should be used. From the photo on Wheeler website for the F.A.T. Stix Preset Torque Wrench Set, looks like the extension is used between the torque limiter and the handle, which leaves the big limiter body at the front. I doubt that would work for the front action screw in Chassis. Thanks a lot.
I lost all faith in wheeler when they marketed a scope level that sits on the turret just very poor practice and teaching newbies the wrong way is never good.
What the heck is the problem? F-Class John is showing us products that are useful to us shooters. Who cares if he has some sort or arrangement with the Wheeler Engineering company?

I, too, got my Borka set from X-Ring. Sadly, he doesn't sell them anymore, and has since closed down his web sight.
Have them, love them and would love to have some more Wheeler stuff...
Thanks F-Class John, we appreciate all the products that you review related to our sport and hobby that us gun owners might consider buying.
Yep I broke several bits just tightening scope bases...absolute shit.

I have used several of Wheeler kits and had good results with them.
Glad to see you back on the tube John!! Miss you out at the range!
Thank you@@@!!!
Thanks John. I enjoy your content. I use these kits everyday in my shop

Nice information video John. I got the Brownells kit. I have wheeler torque wrench.

I am eyeing the Fat Stix ASAP!

Fix it sticks !!!!!!!
100%, beats Wheeler every time

Wheeler stuff sucks. Very soft metal.
100% chinesium
Why would you buy this when Wera, Wiha, Bondhus, Eklind, etc are all readily available and higher quality?
I lost all faith in wheeler when they marketed a scope level that sits on the turret just very poor practice and teaching newbies the wrong way is never good.
Borka or fix it stix.. wheeler fatty never again.
Please disclose your relationship with Wheeler. If you are going to shill, at least be honest about it.
What the heck is the problem? F-Class John is showing us products that are useful to us shooters. Who cares if he has some sort or arrangement with the Wheeler Engineering company?
@@conservativesniperhunter7439 Because Wheeler stuff is garbage and he's clearly being paid to say nice things.
@ Many shooters have had Wheeler products for years that have served them well. Have you had a bad experience with their products? Do tell.
@ultimatereloader this goes for you as well. Getting paid for making commercials disguised as TH-cam content is kinda sketchy
I find it funny because I just watched an older video where FCJ shits on Wheeler products and calls them bad
Absolute shit. Your better off buying the fat max torq driver and buy the bits need.
