Hearing you not know of the absolute devastation that Snow as weather caused in Gen 9 for a while is hilarious. Baxcalibur got banned to Ubers because he was unstoppable, Frosmoth became a mini Volcarona in terms of sheer threat level, Alolan Ninetales was Persona Non Grata due to being the main enabler of Snow bullshit because of having both Snow Warning and Aurora Veil... It was absolutely hilarious seeing it all from the sidelines. Almost as hilarious as Zekrom Kick.
2:03 - There were, you can, and one of the DLC events was an adaptation of Unova Pokémon League from the anime while another was Gym Leaders scoring a Legendary each and trying to challenge Lance with Rayquaza.

You really did miss the true implications of what a 50% Defense boost does, even for Ice types. Recall Weavile and its fragility to make up for its offensive power. But now, it gets a 50% Defense boost, meaning Weavile is no longer so fragile. Avalugg's monsterous defense gets boosted even further, making super effective hits neutral now, meaning Avalugg actually does consume hits like it was supposed to. 29:51 Kip forgor Gen 3 type rules right after talking aboug Gen 3 type rules. Tail Glow actually boosts by 2 Stages in Gens 3 and 4, but that is still devestating.
Nowadays Groudon's on fraud watch, especially in Reg G where you're only allowed one restricted Pokemon, so you're not that likely to run him, especially when Koraidon exists.
Looking at Mysterial's team the biggest standout point to his move choices is that they're all special, meaning in theory some good special walls that can also hit decently hard can counter them. Of course that's easier said then done, and for a normal player using the team they could obviously just mix and match moves so that's not as big of an issue. It's still an impressive team though. Also, while the team used in the video is said to be the Diamond version it's also the Platinum & SoulSilver version, with him having 2 other teams as well: one for Pearl/HeartGold and one for Rental. P.S. You may have forgotten but the teams were ranked on how well they'd do in their respective generations.
The biggest pain ns US and UM for people who played the original is honestly the cutscenes. There's just so many that it kindof sucks to get through them. I tried an altered version on emulator but it seems nobody's been able to remove the cutscenes in their entirety so it's just.... a hassle. The game itself is great, the unique gimmicks in the game's Gym equivalents aren't bad, the boss fights against totem pokemon? pretty solid, honestly. However.... it's just too tedious to play through a lot of that same stuff more than once.
I never get this perspective. It feels no more cutscene heavy than any other JRPG. Maybe I'm just used to it. Edit: I forgot about Nuzlockes, I can get it for something like that.
@@JohnDoe-ic3gt Yeah, that and just replaying the game in general. It's also really noticeable at the beginning of the game in particular where you can literally go like ten steps and have another cutscene, several times in a row. I had to stop my playthrough pretty early on because I was itching to get to the meat of the game.
@@librathebeautifulwarmonk1283 To be fair, if you know her team and build to make sure to counter her it's fine. But if your team is specced to deal with something else, you might have an issue.
"(AI Sada is) the reason we need to stop messing with AI as a society" ah but she's only as strong as she is because of the time machine, which she was actively trying to shut down. Though I assume she could be pretty powerful if she was to find a team of her own (or adopt whatever her creator's team had been, given that Sada had a league badge display in the lab).
I haven't played Scarlet and Violet since I completed the Pokedex, which was like 2 months after release. I haven't gotten any of the dlc. It's things like this that make me want to go back and just crack open a new game, both new and older Gen. How do you feel about the pokemon games?
Hi! If you like a lot of false swipe gaming’s videos, I think you might enjoy some of Wolfeyvgc’s videos as well. They are, as expected, much more VGC focused, but they have a lot of personality, good information, and good production quality. I think in particular you might enjoy some of his videos about what the best Pokemon of X type or region are.
Only thing i want to mention was his talk about weather conditions and him shitting on ice types. He forgets the very niche snow cloak users which could win whole battles solo

This sounds amazing.
That explosion team is down right evil…
"I wanna blow up, and act like I don't know no body!" Personified
Agreed

Thanks for the heads up on the new Snow mechanic!
My favorite False Swipe video. This was an absolutely joy to watch and the hype I got as the teams got better and better was amazing
18:00 *Does he not know the chaos Snow has caused in Gen 9?*
I accidentally stopped an explosion team in gale of darkness with damp poliwrath.

For Pokémon, there’s the super peacha berry event after you beat the indigo disc DLC. It’s a funny story to play through, at least.

Ngl, the no fourth move but choice band will always go hard.

I’m not sure if you still read old comments, but he did a follow up to this if you’d like to check it out!
Cynthia end of story. Her team is a wall to climb.
Most of her team is actually kinda mid Competitively. Garchomp is really the only high tier on her team

Kip you need to give us a link to the Prof Kip channel. There are 2 other Professor Kips that show up in the search results.

I'll make sure to signal boost it when I can start doing stuff.
