What a beautiful loving being, trying to explain his tremendous ancient wisdom to a mere analytical, intellectual man pretending to understand....The words of Krishnamurti are like eternal, precious pearls.

      Why ???

    • @grosbeak6130
      @grosbeak6130 ปีที่แล้ว +9

Your lauding of krishnamurti here should tell you that you have understood nothing of what he is saying. Notice that you praise Krishnamurti at the expense of the gentleman who is talking with him having a discussion interviewing him. You say he is pretending to understand Krishnamurti and yet you are doing the exact same thing but in a different way i.e. by acknowledging his greatness you pretend to understand or think you understand or convince yourself you understand what krishnamurti is saying here but the poor other fellow doesn't. Pfft. This is what happens when you put someone on a pedestal, at the same time you degrade another human being and put him into a lower level of some kind. You just praised Krishnamurti here so your ego could sound important, so your ego could sound spiritual and so making yourself out to be wise - wise enough to know that krishnamurti is to be praised and the other gentleman is not to be esteemed. You embarrassed yourself with your own comment here. Krishnamurti would not invite such a comment to himself. Let that sink in before you embarrass yourself with another mindless comment in which you think you're saying something good.

@@grosbeak6130 I have to ask, isn't your chastisement of someone that you don't know reflect the exact same process you accuse him of being trapped in?

@@tomcloud54 So true, I came here hungry for truth, and I am going away with less truth, either I didn't understand a thing, or they couldn't make me understand, for instance
"The beauty in things ... and not the object of beauty... is immortal. And mind can't grasp it because it is not in the field of consciousness."
Has left me badly confused, beauty results from an object, if there was no object there would be no beauty, so how can beauty be immortal, it can vanish with mortal object.

    • @OpietheWolfHound
      @OpietheWolfHound ปีที่แล้ว

I could be mistaken, but I believe the fact that something was ever beautiful at all is what makes it immortal. Time doesn’t matter in that aspect.

According to JK, no analysis is complete. It follows from that, any continual analytical exercise is total paralysis - we do not get to the truth this way. There goes the scientific inquiry out of the window. Just watching the body language ( I am being analytical here, but I cannot help but to indulge) tells me how engaged both of these gentlemen in the subject of conversation. So, wonderful to see how attentive Andersen is to JK and how he invites JK to check on his understanding of what comes out of JK. Just to experience the animated JK and the enthusiasm and passion he shows when he speaks and the command of the language of expression is to me a real treat. Thank you for making this available to us.

I think he means that death is the destruction of the lower ego. That's why the vitality to which he refers. The mind trying to be eternal and the complete release from fear. He puts things together with his beautiful intelligence. "What is it that dies?" "Can the content of consciousness be emptied?" Means no attachment. "The emptying of that is the real death."

Total emptying of everything I acquired/ learned (phiysical, emotional, psychological, mental ... social...) is the real death freeing my self into the immense vitality

Free my will from the ego - selfishness....

He is talking about the willingness to venture consciously into the "Valley of the Shadow of Death". There must be the willingness to die, to give up whatever it is that keeps me tied to this ego. Willingness and "analysis" will never complete the journey... so thinking will never work... it must be some radical surrender that must take place. The surrender will happen if the intent is clear. It will happen of its own accord. You will have no control of it, yet your willingness is essential. Good luck.

I think I had a small satori there from remembering when K said "YOU ARE FEAR". now the analyzer is the analyzed. you are all the negativity and suffering. you can actually realize this, try it. when you become your fear, your suffering, it not only loses the suffering aspect, but there is a moment of stillness resulting from it. you TRULY ARE all the things that are going on in your body, e.g. I personally suffer from disease. DO NOT see it as separate from you, you ARE IT. the suffering TURNS INTO joy, it DOES NOT DISAPPEAR, it loses the thought aspect to it. I find this infinitely easier than "accepting it" because in accepting there is still the analyzer and the analyzed, forget about it. you are absolutely your body and not your brain separate from the body. now when this happens there is instant peace and watching. when the satori happens, there is not a part of your experience separate, there is not the realization of the painful stomach as me but aching back is not me, it either is ALL you or it is not. you return to yourself and you won't be surprised, it's not something special. it can happen in many ways, it also happened to me during watchful meditation and during transcendental meditation. the techniques just hint towards it, completely distract from thoughts

I'm free of it's conception and my conceptualizations of life's boundaries of it's totality including after it's (This time around in this skin bag I occupy). It's like this is a detour away from the all of me... squeezed into this package in this place with its physics. This whole thing I've been dropped into is just the tip of the all of eternity of which I am and came from in the first place. And even this might not be my first place of existence physically of any image. But I don't know.

    Arguably:
language evolved to coordinate our efforts to survive
out of which developed abstract thinking.
'Conscious' is merely our label for our ability to think abstractly.
Instinctual is what our ancestors were
before language and abstract thinking made them conscious.
Reactive is what our ancestors were
    before chemical replication founded evolution.

Life is memory. Yet, no memory prior to birth, no memory following death.
Did anything really happen at all?
So ... all an illusion, the entire dance? Death is freedom?
Perhaps the only freedom available in this field of time?
Within this fleeting circus we call "reality."

Many seems to remember past lives. Sometimes very convincing. There are also examples of people remember episodes from the womb. Ofc you can dismiss this as nonsense as fanatic believers in materialism and scientism do. But that doesn't make these experiences go away.

We do have memory prior to birth, many children can have memories of their past life and speak of it, say where they lived, describe their family, or perhaps how they died in WW2.

As a spirit we remember all our life and family after death. Consciousness continues after death within our soul/spirit.

Beautiful things do perish, but "beauty" does not perish. Beauty is not limited to a few things, be it a structure made by man or a sunset. Beauty gives one joy, a joyous person dies but joy doesn't die. Beauty, Truth, Joy ..... these are not the 'content of consciousness'. Isn't that a grand discovery???

IMO a heart worthy of the name not filled with love in the present can't help being attached to things it loved in the past.No amount of intellectual understanding can make up for that.KM keeps saying he doesn't believe in analysis yet they spend an hours doing it

@Randy Backgammon -hi Randy. I think this was recorded at a time when "analysis" was big and very in vogue. Everybody had an analyst. So I think that is what he was opposing- the idea that so many went to "a professional analyst" for years on end.

Death is just the observing of the passing of what is already past and that...what we cling 2 as repeating dream- believe patterns and 2 become aware of it.
In a sense we are always in a after- life...until we truly leave the mind or thoughts beside and go into that deeper intelligence...which is not the accustemed and framed mind.

So it is observing all the content of Consciousness without looking at anything particularly.

    Amazing... phew..
JK never allowed video recording of his talks up until he was some 70 + ...
I can never imagine JK sitting with a sign board behind him that says " In conversation with a mystic and a visionary " like Sadguru ( calls guests to his own show to get interviewed )..

To fully develop the dream body with dream yoga practice, and befriend the subconscious inner guide. And ask them to help you understand the bardo, for me is the easiest door

When your dead you won't even know it. You'll know nothing...consciousness is finished. There is nothing to fear.

Talks easy. If you were told you had a week to live due to a terminal disease I suspect you might not be so stoic.
