If this it meant to be a representation of UK 🇬🇧 wiring it wrong. We don’t connect the consumer unit like that. Point 1 we have a bus bar on the bottom connecting the DP main switch the RCCB and the MCBs together Point 2 the supply cable connects to the top of the main switch. Point 3 the neutral bar and the earth bar are located at the top of the inclosure/CU .
This method is used extensively in the UK and does afford considerable labour and cost savings. The downside is that a fault on the circuit can easily go unnoticed as, essentially, each point is fed by two supplies.
A ring circuit provides two independent conductors for line, neutral and protective earth for each connected socket. If the load is evenly split across the two directions the amperage in each direction is half of the total, allowing the use of wire with half the current-carrying capacity.
If the earth and neutral busbars are NOT connected, over here in the US, this would be a sub-panel. I have no idea why distribution panels in England are quite smaller than the U.S. types of panels.
@@frannyjeffers6875 Hello Franny, I don't think the sparky really likes it when there are a lot more wires than space to work on them. I am always watching vidz on British wiring. at times I see a box of electrics up near the ceiling. across the pond or in U.S. the panel must be readily accessible, no grabbing chairs or step ladders, moving a sofa LOL but it seems a good idea, never know when power might need to be shut off quickly.
Thank you… one of my life goals finally completed - learning this easily!
This video tutorial had explained all my unanswered questions about ring circuit... God bless you
God bless u saving my soul for practical exam ❤
Quite clear. Thanks!
Excellent.. very well explained 👍
Thanks for sharing it with us. It really came on time.
Simple explanation But Accurate .thank you So much.😍God Bless.
Thank you..❤👍
blimey!what a palaver!it would be quicker and easier to be a wizard with lightning coming out of your fingertips.consumer units are so complicated!
Which tune is that playing from the begining of the video? So nice.

This is awesome and very informative....Now i know what ring circuit means...
❤👍❤

الفديو رائع و مفيد 😊😊
Thank you is very informative, but are the importance of the rkng circuit?
I learned a lot from the tutorial on which you can run the drovings. But I would like you to tell me the app you are working on
Video scribe software
What happen if i not doing ring circuit , just looping on three switch continue ?
Thank you educating me #Kudos
You don't have one on radial circuits?
Thanks for sharing
❤👍
Please try come up with a video on how to perform testing on an installation...
Thanks
Super brother
What are purpose we are keeping 1st and 3rd mcb
Thank you.❤👍
Don't think about those MCBs.
They are for another circuits.
Good 👍👍
Please what should be the rating of MCB for the ring circuit
Thanks alot
Vídeo muito bom!👍🙂⚡
Thank you
Why we use ring circuit.. Please reply
Thanks !
❤❤👍👍
Ring wiring what purpose use? Can explain please
A ring circuit provides two independent conductors for line, neutral and protective earth for each connected socket. If the load is evenly split across the two directions the amperage in each direction is half of the total, allowing the use of wire with half the current-carrying capacity.
its a cheap way of creating house fires.. thats all.
One more mcb no connection ah ?
I wanted to share u something about the socket

We have much smaller houses for starters

Please how many sockets outlets that ring circuit takes
Unlimited
@@jugunchannel1272 Okay. Thanks
I like my American wiring. That just seems confusing. I’m really not that bright though
Sir software ka nam kya
Uh yeah...
why we use this circuit ????
Software name
Ok
Ring aka loop
Hi
