“Lord Vader doesn’t tolerate the slightest mistake, he kills. Then he goes to rest.” That’s a Very accurate description of the movie!
True
In actuality Vader put up with many failures from Admiral Ozzel. This was just the final straw. Not only did he put up with failures from an incompetent officer (only reason he made Admiral was because it was suspected he was a spy and Vader wanted to keep an eye on him) but he also put up with the insubordination Ozzel often showed. Had it been me Ozzel would not have lasted as long as he had. I am far less forgiving as Vader was.

I wonder what’s on Lobot’s playlist.
When the older gentleman sees Lobot's appearance and says "He is standing behind and listening to the songs" I loved that.
Babu doing a Chewbacca impression and Raeen doing an R2-D2 impression has to be the funniest and most wholesome thing I've seen here in a while. Ha ha. XD
It was so cute! 😂

Man, Babu singing at the end always gets me. The man knows his culture, loves his culture, shares his culture.
and he sings with the right melody too...

I love how Raeen has started helping with the percussion in Babu’s songs now where once upon a time he seemed almost embarrassed by them. You can see how their relationship and his own confidence being on screen has grown
Babu and Raeen might be interested to know that, while they were filming the Hoth sequences in Norway, Peter Mayhew was the only one who was truly warm, because his Chewbacca costume, with its fur, was well insulated.
I love how the older man watches with such empathy
Raeen saying "we both already knew" and Babu then saying "THATS his father?" lmao
Babu forgot everything 😂
That was funny, because in the New Hope reaction it did seem like one of them at least forgot.
They don't remember leia is his sister either.
Thats why 456, 123 is the way better row. Many people forget.@@sandpiperr
@@johnwick884 I don't know, both trilogies have their surprise moments that are completely spoiled by watching the other. Many people who watch the prequel trilogy first can't believe their eyes when at the end Anakin falls to the dark side and Palpatine wins the whole game. In Hollywood movies we're taught to believe that the heroes always win in the end of one production and in the next story-arc there's either a new villain, or "somehow Palpatine returns".
I loved how Uncle Babu thought Lobot was just jammin to some music while all this tragedy was going around him. Wait til they figure out who the sister is....lol.
Maybe in his free time he's secretly jamming to some cool music either! :D
"Babu - tell me what's going on here? She kissed both boys!" "I don't understand what's going on." Oh, just wait for the next part. Welcome to the awkwardness.

From Japan or Alabama no doubt.
32:45 Lobot is Lando's best friend.
Over years of working in servitude for the Empire his brain was gradually replaced with computer components such that he lost his sense of self-expression but not his personality.
Though he seems emotionless, he is deeply human and very loving, and he has strong loyalty for true friends.
When he started whistling the sound R2 made I instantly liked the video lol.
This movie blew my mind when I saw it. I had no idea special effects and story could be so fierce.
I don't know about that. Even as a little kid back in the 80s, I thought those janky ass stop motion puppets on Hoth were 100% not believable. Same with the Yoda puppet.
The jump from 3 to 4 or rogue one to 4 ... lol
Even Empire strikes back. It didn't age that well.
Obviously Lord of the rings aged better, but I also believe it will continue age well.

The revelation of Darth Vader being Luke's father is one of the biggest, if not THE biggest "Say whaaaaaaaaa?!" moment in movie history.
Psycho takes that crown
@@Buckaroo_BaldwinI think more people guessed the twist in Psycho than ESB. This one really took the audience by suprise. It was also a bigger movie so I guess a bigger moment in popular culture
Yeah, while it's fun to see how people react to Revenge of the Sith when they watch the prequels first, it feels like a crime to spoil the plot twist of this movie.
@@KenShacklerI am a criminal then, I have shown so many friends, my siblings and my nieces the movies in the accurate order😅

Thats what Patreon is for I suppose.
The reason Vader tortured Han Solo was not to gain information, Vader knows Han's pain will attract Luke to him through the force, when I first worked that out I thought that was genius.

their excitement at the mention of Yoda's name was amazing! it makes me excited to get to the next part! I love seeing Star Wars again through fresh eyes! thanks for this guys!
I wish they had started at A New Hope. That way the big reveal that Vader is Luke’s father would have been the surprise it’s meant to be. Same goes with Yoda playing the fool to test Luke.
Yoda tells Luke he does not need his weapons when he walks in to the tree of knowledge. Luke does not listen and brings them, striking down the illusion of Vader to only see himself. If Luke had left his weapons as Yoda had told him, he would have discovered Vader is his father and never fallen for the trap set in cloud city. Listen to your elders like Babu, and let the force be with you ✌🏽
I don't think Luke would have got that knowledge. As Yoda said you only face what you bring with you. Luke had Vader on his mind since the death of Obi-wan and thus saw his fears. It's more like a spiritual reflection than a source of facts. That is alteast how I view the scene.
I actually think that the entire point of these movies is that Yoda and Obi-Wan are wrong about everything. It is their decisions that lead to the the Sith gaining power, the Jedi losing power, and the destruction of the Republic.
It was Yoda's decision to lead the Jedi away from having personal connections that caused the Jedi order to stop being peace keepers and helping the public, and instead became pawns of the galactic senate. They were negotiating trade agreements instead of protecting everyday people. This also caused them to begin losing their connection to the force, which Mace Windu mentioned in episode 1 or 2. And it was the losing of their connection that allowed Palpatine to work right under their noses unnoticed.
If Qui-Gon had survived, he would have been the father figure that Anakin needed, and Anakin would have been the greatest Jedi Master of all time. But instead, Anakin was raised by Obi-Wan who became his brother rather than a father. Obi-Wan, the "perfect" jedi under Yoda's leadership, didn't allow himself to become attached to Anakin in the way that Anakin needed. Which is what lead Anakin to having that hole in his heart that he could not fill. He wasn't allowed to go rescue his mother and he wasn't allowed to love Padme even though he did. It wasn't his love and connection to Padme and his mother that lead him to the dark side. It was his lack of connection to anybody in the Jedi order.
Then fast forward to Luke. Luke almost single handedly saved the galaxy and redeemed Anakin, all by doing the exact opposite of what Obi-Wan and Yoda tell him at every turn. Obi-Wan told Luke not to go to his home after his aunt and uncle were attacked, but he does anyway, which gave him the drive to leave Tatooine in the first place. Yoda tells Luke not to rush off to save Leia and Han and Chewy, but Luke does it anyway, which allowed him to learn that Vader is his father and Leia is his sister. Then I believe it is both Yoda and Obi-Wan who tell Luke that he has to kill Vader. But Luke doesn't listen again. He refuses to kill his father because he has that connection to him. And that connection fills the hole in Anakin's heart, giving him the connection he always needed, allowing him to break free of Palpatine's influence and kill him. Vader became Anakin again the moment he loved his son. Which is the opposite of what Jedi are supposed to do under Yoda's teachings.
So I think the real story here is that love and connection to other people is what saves the world. Yoda and Obi-Wan were wrong. Qui-Gon and Luke were right.
@@00Kuja00yeah, I’m not sure where OP got that idea from. Afaik, there is absolutely nothing implying that Luke would’ve gained that knowledge had he gone in unarmed.
@@KurNorockthat is an excellent way of putting it. Both OP and the gentlemen doing the reaction came away from Star Wars with the apparent lesson of “Always listen to your elders, or you’ll just mess everything up,” which is 1) not the lesson, and 2) not exactly the best lesson to learn; listening to your parents and other older adults is of great value, of course, but unquestioning obedience is a flawed way of doing things. It leads to stagnant societies, and those are bound to be left behind in an ever-changing world, not to mention that the youth will never be allowed to properly develop.
i think tho it sounds good, yoda did at least told him, but luke hasnt trust into the force yet@@jordinagel1184

6:21 Obi-Wan to Luke: "There you will learn from Yoda". Babu and Raeen: _UuuUuhHh!!!_ 🐺🐺
8:08 Han gets cocky with Leia, so she kisses Luke to prove a point (I know, _I know!_ But they don't, yet). Raeen: 😳 Babu, directly to Han: _"yOu wERe sAyiNg?"_ 😆
13:55 The Millennium Falcon avoids Darth Vader by the skin of its teeth. For a brief moment Raeen sees the Matrix. (He should also see THE Matrix, you know...)(Just a suggestion)
15:07 The Millennium Falcon flies through the asteroid field. Babu takes it personally.

19:36 Babu and Raeen disapprove of Han's groovy moves.
20:02 There's a whole battle going on but somehow this is more important (I agree).
20:51 Babu and Raeen approve of Yoda's old remedies.
22:06 A Space Slug exists. Babu and Raeen: 😱😱
24:36 Han fails the hyperspace jump yet again. Leia and Babu: My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
25:33 _"Do or do not, there is no try"._ Babu and Raeen agree. I agree. The whole SW fandom agrees.

At least they didn't understand this connection and still think that Jyn Erso is Luke's sister. :)
I love their reaction. These two guys and Ruby are without doubt the best reactors on whole TH-cam. Love them.
The old boy is hilarious whatever he watches. He's so funny.
I always enjoy Babu’s songs at the end. He’s good
1. Han to Chewy, "Laugh it ups fuzzball"🤣
2. The scene in the cave is Luke seeing into his future if he were to turn to the dark side.
3. Do them in the original release. They were put that way for a reason. Jumping ahead ruins it for you and us.
4. IRL Ford and Fisher were having an affair. She was only 19 and he was much older and married. She put it in her biography before she died. She got an ok from him to put it in there.
5. Hans', "I know" was ad lib and required a new script to be written in the next movie.
6. You will learn more about the emperor and Darth Vader in episodes I, II and III.
7. The next one wraps everything up and IMVHO is the best of the original VI Lucas episodes
18:26 - One of the problems with Numerical order is that we already KNOW Yoda is a Jedi master, and is only pretending to be a crazy old coot when Luke meets him, to stay undercover and test him. Which makes it harder to appreciate Luke’s impulsive frustration, his big problem in the story.
This channel just gets better and better. Thank you for introducing us to these lovely people.
See this is what happens when you don't watch them in release order. Big reveal meant nothing at all and Raeen is confused about who the sister is.
Yea it should always be watched in release order. The OG trilogy should be the foundation, and everything else should be watched around it.
This has been my favorite Star Wars episode. It also came out the year I was born lol. The frozen place at the beginning was the planet Hoth. It's extremely cold there at all times, but especially at night, which is why Han Solo was worried when Luke Skywalker hadn't come in when it was time to lock down the base at night. The creature that dragged Luke away was a wampa, one of the predators native to Hoth. Luke and Han were riding was a tauntaun, also native to Hoth, they were easier to ride in the icy weather than riding speeders which could not handle such cold temperatures as well as the tauntaun. When it was getting late at night, however, the tauntaun froze to death. The Battle of Hoth is one of my favorites of the whole series. The huge machines the Imperial forces had are called walkers. Fierce gun strength, but easily tripped with a clever use of wire! 😝😉
I thoroughly enjoyed watching their reactions to the Star Wars saga. It just goes to show how much of an impact these movies have on people from all walks of life.
They shouldve watched 4, 5 and 6 first. Because they already knew vader was his father. Which is arguably one of the greatest twists in cinema history. I can't blame them for watching it in the wrong order, considering the confusing way they numbered them.
May the Force be with them and everyone who watches them.
My favorite Star Wars movie of all of them. May the force be with you!
Empire Strikes Back is my favorite Star Wars movie.

He's right, don't make them wait too long for the next one 😅

I really enjoy the songs at the end of each video!
The actor playing Luke was involved in a car crash between making the film Star Wars and this one. So an extra scene was made showing him being attacked by a creature that scars his face because the actor had really became scarred on his face.

I like Babu's songs at the end! Tell him to keep it going!!
I haven’t been so hyped to watch a video since waiting for episode 7 to come out in cinemas!
"I am your father" is the main reason I would personally have suggested watching the films in release order rather than numbered order - 1, 2 and 3 were made to be watched after 4, 5 and 6.
agreed, takes away from some of the magic of watching the original for the first time.
"daugther is not shown"
The suspense!!
We need Babu as an elder ambassador to the world's young people.
What a wonderful world this would be within a generation!
It's weird watching it flipped horizontally, but I guess that's to avoid a copyright issue. The Empire Strikes Back is the first time anyone saw Yoda. As a puppet he looks so much better than the CGI renditions in later movies. And until ESB no one knew Darth Vader was Luke's Dad lol. It's my favorite out of all the Star Wars movies. I wish they hadn't shown Babu and Raeen the added CGI and deleted scene versions. The originals are far better as they were shown in theaters back in the day. The only change made that I agree with is the scene where the Emperor makes his first appearance with Vader as a hologram. In the original the Emperor is played by actress Marjorie Eaton and voiced by actor Clive Revill. Then in more recent years they were replaced with Ian McDiarmid. I always enjoy Babu's song at the end. I love these guys. Ok, Return Of The Jedi next!
The mirrored image was also throwing me off. After seeing this movie hundreds of times, suddenly seeing background where there should be characters made seem both "wrong" and also like watching the movie for the very first time when I was a kid. When you first see a movie you're scanning the scene with your eyes trying to take in everything that's going on and trying to make sense of it all. Watching it mirrored felt the same and it's like my brain was trying to have it make sense not because it was new, mysterious, and unknown, but because it wasn't matching the way the scene has been burned into memory.
