Might want to clarify that Captain America is one of the few Golden-Silver Age Marvel heroes that Stan Lee did not have a hand in creating. Cap was created by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon. Kirby would go on to co-create with Stan most of the other major Marvel characters and teams such as the Avengers, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four (though arguably Kirby did far more than Stan did).
It's worth finding out how little Stan had in the creation of anything. He was a publisher, someone who merely profits frommthe talent of others. A major change in US comics is the emphasis on superheroes. This was a change that removed westerns, romance, detective, horror, (though that lingered into the 70s and them became things like Swamp Thing), and of course science fiction in favour of a small and diminishing business following superheroes. I saw an interview once with Robert Downey Jr who told of a red carpet publicity event for one of the Avengers movies at a comic book convention. Downey was walking down the red carpet, having his photo taken, being cheered by the crowd but noticed that the loudest cheers, most fans, most photographs and loudest and longest cheers weren’t for him or any of the other actors. Downey was almost shaking his head in amusement as all the attention in the crowd was centered not on him or the other actors or the director but that the real rock star at the event was Mr. Stan Lee. For giving the world the characters he created and allowing them to be shown on the big screen has earned Stan Lee a very beloved status. Consider, dear friends, Stan Lee created most of these characters in the 1940s-1970s. Why weren’t movies made about these characters then? Why wait until the ‘90s and 2000’s? The movie making technology didn’t exist to bring the characters to the screen in an appropriately epic way. In some ways Stan Lee was similar to the artist Leonardo da Vinci. Leonardo sketched many items, inventions, plans and achievements such as a design for an army tank, flying machines, an early underwater breathing apparatus like a scuba tank. All of these items would be built but not in Leonardo’s day. The technology and materials available in the late 1400s and early 1500s didn’t exist to help realize da Vinci’s visions. I would argue that Stan Lee and Leonardo were men very far ahead of their time. As you make your way through the MCU, perhaps you could take a moment and watch one of the recent documentaries on Stan Lee’s career that might fill in some of the stories of how his characters were created.

I apologize for not seeing this sooner, but having to watch subtitles does require me whole attention. Luckily as I'm writing this, you just came our with Ragnarok, so I have a good long way to go and I can't wait to see how they react to everything on the way through.
Raeen and Babu Bahi are such a great duo. The knowledge of the young man and the wisdom of the elder man. I didn't even like this movie when it came out but they have made me appreciate it in a new way.
@@naynay3710 I don't really care much for superheroes, and without passion for the subject matter, I can't imagine anyone thinking this movie deserves anything above a B-, maybe B grade, but that's just me. I would give it like a C+. Wasn't angry that I paid money for it (looking at you Batman vs. Superman), but wouldn't see it again.
Please share with my friends on their question “Is the actor who played Captain America, Chris Evans, muscular or skinny?” The producers of the movie, of course, have CGI technology that can make an old person appear younger or vice versa, but when the actors are cast for superhero roles, their contracts will usually specify an ‘appearance clause’ in their contracts stipulating that they must vigorously work out in the gym. Now, as Raeen and Babu figured out, different characters have different appearance requirements. The actor that plays ‘the Hulk’ must still appear fit on screen but when the actor is in his ‘normal’ appearance as Bruce Banner, he doesn’t need to look like a bodybuilder. The actor just needs to appear like a normal man. Robert Downey Jr, who plays ‘Tony Stark/Iron Man’ doesn’t need to look like a bodybuilder either, his armor and technology are his superpower. On the other hand, characters like ‘Thor’ and ‘Captain America’ must look like superheroes even in plain clothes. The requirements are different for different actors.
The Original android Human Torch has a brief cameo that longtime Marvel readers of course caught. The Torch was created by Carl Burgos. He never got the rights to his own character and in an act of frustration and anger he took his own copies and burned them un his back yard.
The question from Raeen at the end is wasy to answer. There are a few videos of the actors training for those films and he may be amazed on how they really turn almost into bodybuilders
Hydra organisation is named after the water monster of ancient Greek myths. In the myth of hero Heracles, water monster called Lernaean Hydra or Hydra of Lerna was a snake-like creature. If it's head was cut off, two more took the place multiplying in the battle. Heracles ovecame the monster with his friend Iolaus that burned the necks of Hydra with fire, preventing further growth. Hydra is often used as a metaphore to oppressive regimes, organised crime etc. The name Hydra itself is derived from Greek word for "water" (therefore many languages use this word in some way connected to fluids. For example hydraulics, hydrant etc.)
I don’t recall precisely but I believe the organization is actually H.Y.D.R.A. Each letter stands for a word but I don’t recall what each letter stands for. The term ‘hydra,’ though, is from Greek mythology. A hydra was a supernatural, mythical creature with a dragon’s body but unable to fly with multiple long, snaky heads. If I recall correctly, the hydra was, on some level poisonous but I don’t recall if it could ‘shoot’ poison or if just its bite was poisonous. As with many Greek mythological creatures, though, it, sort of, represented an archetype. The hydra’s most important feature was its ability to have one or more of its heads severed and two new heads would sprout from the stump. The hydra represented a creature or problem that just gets worse as you battle it in a normal way. If you cut off one of the creature’s you only compounded your problem: as you battle, you get more tired and the creature only gets stronger. From memory, a Greek hero, possibly Hercules, but maybe a different person, chose to battle the beast but had to use both brains and brawn to beat it. The solution, from memory, was to melt a large quantity of lead and take a spear with globs of liquid, molten lead and as Hercules cut one of its heads off, his assistant would stick the molten lead into the stump, preventing more heads from growing. Once the creature was dead, Hercules dipped his arrows into the hydra’s blood making his arrows poisonous. The organization HYDRA chose that as their icon or logo leaning in to the idea that if one member of the organization would be killed, two more would replace the lost person.
The Hydra couldn't shoot poison. The fangs were poisonous and it were so strong that when in one of stories of Heracles when the Hydra bitten him, when they fought, he was greatly suffered from it afterwards.
Do you mean the tall gentleman Badshah? I also wish to know. Last we heard of him, Raeen mentioned he had to go to a wedding. He may have been attending to his family ever since then, but that’s just my guess. If you mean someone else, my bad 😅
Hehe, I had the exact same question as Raeen the first time I saw that movie : was the actor thin or muscular in real life ? ^^ I thought he was thin because it suited him well and the muscular body seemed fake, then I saw that he was tall and muscular in reality.
Londoners were only slaves for not even five hundred years... Londinium, also known as Roman London, was the capital of Roman Britain during most of the period of Roman rule. Most twenty-first century historians think that it was originally a settlement established shortly after the Claudian invasion of Britain, on the current site of the City of London around 47-50 AD. Around 410, the Romano-British expelled the Roman magistrates from Britain.

EXTREME HAPPYDANCE! 😂😂😂 I *love* Captain America, it's one of my favorites of all the MCU. He's my favorite hero, with Thor next. I'm glad they enjoyed this so much. Thank you for keeping it going, they have delightful reactions to them.
I love that finally there is a different take on the reactions keep it coming
I love how Babu is like “hold on hold on there has to be an after credits scene!”
Babu singing at the end of every React episode is what I look forward to!! Love the content guys! Much love from Malaysia
I really enjoy their perspective on these movies. I hope they are able to see all up to what current so they can get all the stories and see where all the characters end up
Well then - on to The Avangers! But I'm very much looking forward to see them react to further Marvel movies - especially Doctor Strange!
Рад вас вновь приветствовать, Бабу, Райен. Здравствуйте. Я искренне благодарю вас за данный интересный выпуск. Лайк поставил. Всем искренне желаю доброго и крепкого здоровья. 🤗🤗👍👍
Babu: "When was London a slave?" Wonderful moment in this reaction video.
Yesssss! One of my favourite characters and movies!
It is when you see comments like this, you know the director has hit the nail on the head with the story.
02:35 What's going on with Raeen? Why did he often start to feel sad? What's happened? 😟
This is the movie I was waiting to see Babu react to. He did not disappoint, I enjoyed watching him watch the movie.
yall clapping makes me so happy
It's the first time I've watched this in over 10 years, and I'm busy spotting all the people who have filmed other stuff in my city, mainly within a mile or two of my house, in Bradford, the world's first UNESCO City of Film.
Richard Armitage, David Bradley, Ben Batt, Simon Kunz, Jenna Coleman, Toby Jones etc are the ones I recognise, however there will no doubt be others from productions I haven't seen yet, or ones I've forgotten.
Captain America 🇺🇸 is my favorite Hero from the MCU I was looking forward to your reaction to him and you didn't disappoint!!There are so many other heros your going to be introduced to!!
Oh man they LOVED it. AVENGERS IS GONA BE SOOOOOOOOOO GOODDDD!!!!!!! I AM SO HYPED
This channel's MCU series is the best yet
Keep 'em coming!!! (The 21-gun salute should go to Joe Simon and Jack Kirby, the men who created Captain America, and Stan Lee, who followed up with Jack in the '60s.) I want to see reactions from you to all 30+!!!! THANKS for this!!!!
Two of my favorite TH-cam people ❤
AVENGERS!!!
YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO LOVE IT!!
Every movie reaction should finish with a song from Babu!
Can't wait for them to watch CM2: Winter Soldier. I think it's the best in all of the MCU.
I am surprised they aren't giving them popcorn to eat while watching these movies. ;)
Thank you for doing this. This perspective on American pop science fiction is both enlightening and amazing.
Avengers is going to be a such a banger one 😂❤
I'm so excited, this is the only reaction channel that I like
Yes dfntly. Other reactions channels are overacting channels. They react for their own channels. But these two have the real emotions and reactions towards films. They dont care aboyt views or likes they really watch and enjoy films.
This was so incredibly enjoyable! I love these guys! I do miss Sarru with these two, though.
You guys are fun to watch. Did you make the connection that Howard Stark is Tony Starks (Ironman) father.
I need u guys to make these reactions faster😂. I love watching the movies with you
Hoping they watch a superman film or films soon. Love to see their reaction to such a hero
There hasn't been a good one in a while. Probably best wait for Superman: Legacy.
Yeah but save it until after the MCU is done. At least until End Game or Far From Home. After that it no longer matters.
@kidkunjer nah, superman 1978 and or man of steel needs to be seen by them
@@Trazynn hey, as long as it s seen
@@multiversal2023 definitely skip man of steel. That movie was hot trash and didn't understand superman at all. It's not even a superhero film.
I apologize for not seeing this sooner, but having to watch subtitles does require me whole attention. I do very much enjoy how Babu mentioned how everyone is different, and that he's going to focus on how Captain America is different, this is really the basis of how it built to the Avengers, so I can't wait to see the next one. Luckily as I'm writing this, you just came our with Ragnarok, so I have a good long way to go and I can't wait to see how they react to everything on the way through.
So cool, love that you’re brining them into the MCU. Can’t wait tell they react to the Guardians of the Galaxy. They will laugh a ton
Raeen and Babu Bahi are such a great duo. The knowledge of the young man and the wisdom of the elder man. I didn't even like this movie when it came out but they have made me appreciate it in a new way.
I know, to each his own, but I can't imagine not liking this movie. Just sayin'.
Don't believe they realized the scientist/inventor with the mustache was Howard Stark ... Tony Stark's (Iron Man) father.
Nice! been waiting for the next one :)
The Original android Human Torch has a brief cameo that longtime Marvel readers of course caught. The Torch was created by Carl Burgos. He never got the rights to his own character and in an act of frustration and anger he took his own copies and burned them un his back yard.
love you love you love you!!!
though, did it really need to be the shortest one out of all your marvel reactions D: LOL :D
I wonder if they noticed Tony Stark's father and if it was pointed out to them that in the iron man first movie we can see the shield.
Awesome!!!
Glad to see them continue the MCU journey!
Love the introduction
awwww yeaaaaah
Hey Guys... The Hulk got his powers from Gamma Ray Exposure...
What's going on with Raeen at 2:34 to 2:45? Trying to remember something? Depressed thoughts? Headache?
"Greater Love, hath no man/woman, than he/she will lay down their life for their friend(s)". Can't wait till they see Wolverine.
Great 👍👍 let's see next reaction video
I am so excited for you guys to watch Avengers 😄
"I smell jealousy..." YES!!
5:00 The rude guy must've been too weak for the Army. He can't even knock out little Steve.
1:57 Wow babu made a pretty good guess
Can’t wait til they get to see the avengers movie!! I’m ready!!
We were just waiting for this one yaar
Really been enjoying you guys watching Marvel and other things. Question, what happened to that other older guy who's with you before?
Do you mean the tall gentleman Badshah? I also wish to know. Last we heard of him, Raeen mentioned he had to go to a wedding. He may have been attending to his family ever since then, but that’s just my guess. If you mean someone else, my bad 😅
@@tempestshadow5152 Yeah, that's him
I always have this feeling, when old man talks, he doesn't even use real words. Just blablabla lalala😂
Babu: "You will now listen to my song"
Me: "Can you please sing, 🎶Don't hit your Grandma with a great big stick🎶??" 😳
Can you please show them the movie “home alone”?
Where is the Avengers reaction I'm dying over here
First time I've regularly checked the channel for updates. Been over a week since Cap. Don't leave us hanging!
@@Wicked_Sushi fr I literally can't wait
It sounds like the older gentleman here, Babu, would like the X-Men movies. :)
If Disney would only watch that discussion they have after the movie it sums up perfectly why Marvel worked so good then but doesn’t work now.
I love them debating if the small version or buff version of Chris Evans was the real one the cgi was just that good! 😂
